- This is a really long show.. So if I miss something, sorry in advance. - Simple opening promo.. Which I believe is really close to being similar to what actually happened. - Okay opening eight man tag match. I hate Bulldog being with the Mean Street Posse. Hopefully you break them up ASAP. - Solid Angle/Matt match. If Blackman is with Angle, that is a good pairing. - I hope to see Venis get a decent push in WWF. Interesting that Venis won’t be the best man. - Nice swerve by Chyna. - I hate big man/big man matches so I can see Kane/Show being all that great. Love the mean side of Kane. - Test push? Works for me. - Godfather the Hardcore champ? Ehhh.. - Squash for the Dudley’s. Good to see squashes back on RAW. Nice aftermath as well. - Obviously Rock’s team would win and it seemed like a okay match. HHH/Mankind should be great at RR.

Nice opening segment for RAW with the Rock leading the locker room against DX, and the eight man tag match is a nice touch. Decent opening eight man tag match, although I still wish Bulldog would get a push. Nice to see Angle getting the win, I'm really liking what your doing with him and Blackman Was really hoping that Edge was going to win the title here, but Venis is a good champion. Nice to see Jericho retaining the belt, your booking of him and Chyna is pretty good. Kane/ Show was solid, but I didn't like the ending, it just made little sense and doesn't exactly make Show look strong. Nice to see Test getting the win, I always thought he deserved a bigger push than he got. Good to see the Godfather picking up the title, although I don't see where your going to take him with it. I'm liking the feud between the Hardys and the Dudleys, and their segment just made the Dudleys look like mega heels. Great main event, although it was obvious that the faces would pick up the victory, but its good to see Mankind back none the less. Solid show man, but I still think its a little long.

Raw Great opening segments with the 'WWF' taking a stand against DX. Reminded me of WCW ala NWO era. Good stuff; hopefully the 8 man tag match is off the charts. Solid opener and better than I thought it would be. I dig the pushes for Rikishi and Too Cool. Posse will always be jobbers in my book. Angle over Hardy was predictable, but not the way it turned out. Dudleys have Terri! Oh god, some good E&C coming up PLEASE! Interesting segment with Venis/Edge after what sounded like a great match. That feud always intrigued me to say the least. Eh, don't like you building up Viscera just to knock him down this early in the push. Chyna helping was interesting also. Foley throwing coffee on Mideon seemed pretty funny, but almost heel. Don't like that too much. Wonder why the crowd was booing the face Kane in this match, but I wonder what has gotten into Tori. Test over Snow is logical, but I want to see what you do with Test. Haha, force you to watch Al Snow matches is priceless. Mideon turning face here? or playing a trick? Mankind very crazy tonight I see. Godfather new champion! Excellent hardcore title match, very believable finish also. Quick win for the duds over the headbangers, but Runnels handcuffed is interesting. Good thing the Hardys came in for the save! Excellent main event to close the show man. Glad the Rock got the actual victory and I hope you go a different way and do HHH/Rock at Mania. Great stuff Dan.

WWW.ATTITUDETV.NET SmackDown! Coverage with Daniel Peterson
Thursday 13th January 2000 Chicago, Illinois, USA - AllState Arena - So, Mick Foley is back in the World Wrestling Federation, and we are now ten days away from the Royal Rumble, where Triple H will defend his WWF Championship against Mick Foley on pay-per-view. Things are heating up, let's get to it!
- The opening video sequence occurs, showing different clips of the old RAW is WAR set. Following this is a video package recapping us of what went down on RAW is WAR, this past Monday; where The Rock, Bradshaw and Faarooq of the Acolytes and Kane had to team together for Mick Foley's career in the WWF, against Triple H, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn of the New Age Outlaws, and X-Pac. After a war broke out, it was Rock who came out victorious, as Triple H found himself being beaten down by Mankind as RAW went off the air! The opening SmackDown! video package then aired, highlighting the World Wrestling Federation superstars in a fast-paced music video, mixed in with blue to coincide with SmackDown!'s colors.
- We cut to the live arena, as pyrotechnics go off, and we are on for SmackDown!, the fans in Chicago going nuts for the World Wrestling Federation. Michael Cole and Jerry "King" Lawler promote the Royal Rumble in ten days, featuring thirty men with one goal, and that being to go to WrestleMania 2000 and face the WWF Champion whether it be Triple H or Mankind!
- "My Time" bursts into the arena to loud boos, as the WWF Champion and the leader of D-Generation X comes out to the arena with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, as Triple H didn't seem too pleased tonight whilst walking down to the ring. Stephanie kissed him on the rampway to try and peak his joy up, DX nowhere to be found tonight. Triple H spat his water out as the two got into the ring to loud 'Foley' chants, Stephanie telling the audience that Mick Foley isn't even a serious adversary! The crowd booed as Triple H took over, talking about how so many people think that Mick Foley has a chance of winning the WWF Championship on January 23rd, but really, Triple H is motivated now more than ever to beating Mick Foley's ass and having the joy of retiring Mankind's career forever! Triple H calls out Mick Foley, because he has a proposal for him for the Rumble! Triple H lastly mentions that he is not a paper champion, and this reign will not be flawed by any spotlight-hogging Chairman, or any Texas Rattlesnakes, because his title reign will show his true dominance - inside the ring! The theme of Mankind then hits the arena, as not Mick Foley, but Mankind limps out to a huge ovation.
- Triple H then asks for Mankind to take off his mask, because he wants Foley to enjoy the scars he has; because in ten days, they will be doubled in quantity, and more painful in quality at the Royal Rumble! Mankind tells Triple H that he's nothing more than a piece of lettuce, because he's crunchy, but decreases fat, and that just isn't in his food chain. Mankind demands revenge on Triple H, and at the Royal Rumble, he will get his WWF Championship shot guaranteed, but when he's done with 'The Game', Triple H's game will be over! Triple H tells Mankind about the proposal, and that is if Mankind loses at the Rumble to him...Mankind will leave the World Wrestling Federation for good! Mankind accepted this...on his grounds! Mankind then pulls out a scrap piece of paper, as he demands that tonight, Bradshaw face Road Dogg; Faarooq faces Billy Gunn; And Kane against X-Pac! Mankind then lastly demands one thing; that if January 23rd is his last night, then he wants to go out with a bang, and he will in a Street Fight! Triple H accepts, Mankind grinning!
- Commercial Break
- A replay from what just happened aired, showing Triple H proposing to Mankind that when he beats Mankind at the Royal Rumble, Mankind is banished from the World Wrestling Federation for good! Mankind then agreed under the terms that Kane faces X-Pac, Road Dogg faces Bradshaw and Billy Gunn faces Faarooq tonight...and that Mankind and Triple H's match at the Rumble becomes a Street Fight!
- Match #1: Road Dogg defeated Bradshaw Mike Chioda was the referee. This wasn't a bad match in actual fact, as the hard-hitting Acolyte fought one-half of the WWF Tag Team Champions in which the Acolytes will face on pay-per-view at the Royal Rumble in ten days! Road Dogg and Bradshaw traded blows, but Bradshaw seemed a lot more motivated to pick up the win; he wanted to show dominance and Road Dogg got it in this one. Road Dogg attempted to get the win early on with a Pumphandle Drop, but Bradshaw just overpowered him, throwing the rapper into the announce table at ringside and then letting the fight continue in the ring as Bradshaw just shoved Road Dogg around. This then came to Bradshaw going for a Clothesline From Hell, but Road Dogg ducked and cheaply rolled him up for three!
- Road Dogg celebrated his victory by rushing out of the ring to loud boos, the crowd not pleased by this turn of events at all. Road Dogg stood on the rampway with his microphone, as he told Bradshaw that if he wasn't down with that, and Billy Gunn isn't hear to say it, but Bradshaw can just suck it! Bradshaw looked angry as he left the ring, power-walking after the New Age Outlaw up to the backstage area!
- Commercial Break
- We go to the backstage corridor as new backstage interviewer, Jonathan Coachman was with The Rock, as he asked for thoughts on Rock on Mankind's acceptance of proposal to Triple H. He was cut off by Rock repeatedly as he did his 'Finally, The Rock has come back...' phrase, Rock then telling Coachman that he has a question of his own; who is he! Coachman introduced himself as Rock welcomed him to his show, SmackDown!. Jonathan then told Rock that people call him 'Coach' for short. Rock questions this, as he jokes, then telling Coachman about having to team with Big Show tonight on SmackDown!. Rock compares Big Show to Big Bird, focusing on Triple H still. Rock ridicules their opponents for tonight, the Dudley Boyz as he then jokes with Coach. Rock lays his catchphrase down.
- Match #2: The Holly Cousins defeated Too Cool with Rikishi Phatu Jimmy Korderas was the referee. Not too bad a match here, as Rikishi Phatu was at ringside just in case of interference from anybody else other than the men in this ring. Hardcore Holly managed to fight well, but Crash was hesitant about fighting against these bizarre dancers, Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay. Sexay managed to get in a lot of enthusiasm throughout the match though, Hardcore still managing to pound away at his opponent throughout the bout. Sexay tagged in Scotty as Scotty continued the offense until Hardcore managed to tag in Crash, and Crash took Scotty down with a neckbreaker. Scotty was worked over but after nailing an unorthodox backdrop, he tagged back in Grandmaster Sexay. Sexay made the save, but at ringside, Al Snow clocked Rikishi Phatu with Head! Sexay was distracted, and a DDT from Crash finished it!
- The crowd booed as Crash and Hardcore of the Holly Cousins left the ring, celebrating up the rampway. Scotty 2 Hotty ran outside to attend to the unconscious Rikishi Phatu as Al Snow stood on the rampway with his sadistic grin on his face.
- Commercial Break.
- A highlight video aired, showcasing the return of Mankind to the World Wrestling Federation, counting down the days to what could be his big break, or his big retirement against Triple H at the Royal Rumble! It showed us clips of him as Cactus Jack in FMW; how he cemented being a 'Hardcore Legend'.
- Match #3: The Godfather with Hos defeated Mideon to retain the WWF Hardcore Championship Teddy Long was the official. This was a match brought on from Sunday Night HeAT, as a man in black has been attacking The Godfather in past weeks, apparently from 'the network' and serving as a censor to unsafe characters, by the likes of The Godfather and his pimp gimmick. Mideon was revealed as this man on Sunday night, and he brought out a handcuffed Ho with him, the one he had previously kidnapped. Godfather and Mideon traded blows in this sloppy war, and Godfather won the belt from Big Bossman on RAW, Monday. Mideon tried slamming a crate over his head, but it missed, and Godfather nailed the Pimp Drop onto a chair for three!
- The Godfather celebrated his victory, the WWF Hardcore Championship being handed to him by Teddy Long, but then suddenly, Mideon got back up and was wielding the steel chair! Godfather turned around and ducked Mideon's chair, nailing the handcuffed Ho right in the face! The Ho fell down as Godfather fought Mideon off, then attending to the unconscious Ho!
- Another replay of Mankind and Triple H's promo from the start of this edition of SmackDown! aired, setting up the Retirement Street Fight for the WWF Championship at the Royal Rumble.
- Commercial Break
- We return to SmackDown! backstage, as Chris Jericho is standing with his Co-Intercontinental Champion ally, Chyna, who is as always with the WWF Womens Champion, The Kat, and he seems to have a slight look of dissappointment on his face. He talks about how wrong he is and thanks her greatly, then asking Chyna if he really has to do this. Chyna says yes, because then he can have the WWF Intercontinental Championship in his possession for the night. Y2J then shrugs and gets on her knees, begging for Chyna's approval as the crowd laughed! Jericho hugged Chyna's leg and pretended to cry as Chyna dropped the belt onto him.
- Match #4: The Hardy Boyz with Terri Runnels defeated Kurt Angle and Steve Blackman Mike Chioda was the official. This was a pretty good match here, as these four performers competed in what was a follow on from the competitive match that was Matt Hardy against Kurt Angle on RAW is WAR, this past Monday. Jeff and Matt seemed motivated tonight to end the undefeated streak that the Olympic Gold Medalist had garnered in the past three months. Jeff almost did indeed, with a rollup, but Angle managed to kick out of it. 'Lethal Weapon' then got the tag, as Blackman tried to go for his Martial-Arts Thrust Kick, but Matt dodged it and he nailed the neckbreaker known as the Twist of Fate for the win!
- The Hardy Boyz celebrate their victory, as Terri Runnels dives into Jeff Hardy's arms, the Hardy Boyz and Terri raising their arms before leaving, Steve Blackman slowly getting back up to his feet. Kurt Angle gets into the ring and then nails the Olympic Slam on Blackman! The crowd booed louder, as the Olympic Gold Medalist grabbed a microphone and began to talk about how his undefeated streak is not over, but Blackman has let him down! Angle told everybody that he plans to open up a challenge to anybody in the WWF locker room to a match whenever and wherever on RAW, SmackDown! and at the Royal Rumble! Angle giggles at himself as he leaves, Blackman recovering in anger.
- We cut to the backstage hallway as Big Show was standing around with Lillian Garcia, as Lillian was talking about Show teaming with The Rock tonight to face the Dudley Boyz. Show talked about how last week he lost his cool, but tonight, he's tempted to resurface, because in ten days he has a Royal Rumble to win...and then, he will regain what should rightfully still be his, and that is the WWF Championship! Show then mentioned about how he did not like The Rock, but tonight, it's all about redeeming himself. Show finishes off by telling Tori [him knowing she'll be watching] that she is a manipulative bitch, and if Kane wants to fight him about it, he can meet him in the ring in a steel cage match on Monday at RAW.
- Commercial Break
- Match #5: Faarooq defeated Billy Gunn Mike Sparks was the official. Faarooq was out to get retribution on the New Age Outlaws member, Billy Gunn after Road Dogg cheated a victory in over his Acolytes ally, Bradshaw earlier tonight. Faarooq almost got three on countless occasions, but Billy Gunn repeatedly managed to use his agility to avoid it, taking Faarooq's storm of fury strikes and putting it on pause with his picture-perfect dropkicks. Faarooq almost got the win with his Dominator, but Road Dogg ran down to ringside! Faarooq took Dogg off of the apron as Bradshaw ran to ringside, delivering a huge Clothesline From Hell on Road Dogg! Gunn attempted the Fame Asser, but it got reversed, and a Spinebuster finished it!
- Faarooq celebrated his victory, as Bradshaw joined him in the ring, The Acolytes in control, as Road Dogg and Billy Gunn of the New Age Outlaws carried their WWF Tag Team Championships up the rampway, Acolytes in control!
- A Mick Foley highlight video aired, reminding us of Triple H and Mankind's previous battle on RAW is WAR; September 11th 1997. An epic battle, with Mick Foley prevailing. But will this occur at the Royal Rumble?
- Commercial Break
- Match #6: The Rock and Big Show defeated The Dudley Boyz Jimmy Korderas was the official. A pretty lengthy match, just after the first-hour main event spot on the card, too. Was pretty surprising to see this match not main event tonight's edition of SmackDown!, but the crowd loved both The Rock and Big Show, despising the Dudley Boyz as D-Von and Bubba Ray previously downed Terri Runnels on RAW, making them intense enemies with the Hardy Boyz. Rock and D-Von started off, Rock instantly demolishing D-Von but that all stopped when Rock suddenly got taken out by a sit-down powerbomb from Bubba Ray. The two Dudleys from that point on isolated Rock, but eventually, it was Big Show who made the save! Show delivered a big boot to D-Von and nailed the Chokeslam on Bubba for the three!
- Big Show celebrated his victory over the Dudley Boyz as D-Von and Bubba Ray rolled out of the ring, The Rock suddenly getting up and celebrating on the top rope! The themes changed from Big Show's to The Rock's as Show left, obviously pissed off.
- We cut to the backstage area as Kane was shown walking down a hallway angrily, seemingly in search for Tori, still from Monday night on RAW!
- Commercial Break
- Match #7: Edge and Christian defeated The Mean Street Posse with Joey Abs Tim White was the referee. This wasn't really a long tag team match here, it was really not too much important, as Rodney and Pete Gas of the Mean Street Posse seemed determined to take out Edge and Christian, and actually win a match here, but it just was not the case, as Edge and Christian traded blows with Pete Gas and Rodney, taking Rodney out with Christian's Unprettier early on in the match. Edge and Christian double teamed Gas a few times, Christian diving out of the ring on Joey Abs, as Edge's Downward Spiral finished off Gas in just under three minutes.
- Edge and Christian celebrated their victory, as British Bulldog then came running down to the ring, Bulldog jumping Edge with Joey Abs attacking Christian, the two more credible members of the Mean Street Posse taking out Edge and Christian as Rodney and Pete Gas remain laid out! Suddenly, the WWF European Champion, Val Venis ran out to the ring, making the save for the two Canadian brothers! Val hugged Edge and Christian; the announcement of Edge marrying Val's sister still happening!
- Another Mick Foley segment aired, reminding us of Mankind's big WWF Championship wins on RAW in 1998, Halftime Heat as well as St. Valentine's Day Massacre and SummerSlam 1999.
- We see Triple H walking down a corridor, and for some reason, Michael Cole and Jerry "King" Lawler jump to the fact that X-Pac and Kane was going to be up next!
- Commercial Break
- We go to the live arena as Triple H makes his way out to the arena to loud boos, 'My Time' booming into the arena as the WWF Champion walked out with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, the couple coming to ringside and getting on commentary, hyping up Kane's burial tonight at the hands of X-Pac at long last. Triple H classed Kane as the 'Big Red intellectually- disabled person' instead of 'Big Red Machine' before Michael Cole and Jerry "King" Lawler promote the big event upcoming, Royal Rumble. Triple H comedically promoted Royal Rumble being live in Foley's backyard of his dumpster in Madison Square Garden; the deathplace of Mankind!
- Match #7: Kane defeated X-Pac Mike Chioda was the referee. A solid main event here to close down the show, as this feud had been brewing for a long time, as these two former passionate and close WWF Tag Team Champions were torn apart from greed, and a crush for Tori, and the reformation of D-Generation X brought their partnership to a ruthless end. Their match at Armageddon was superior to this however, this was a standard match, a game of Tom and Jerry, as the 'Big Reed Machine' repeatedly pounded at X-Pac whenever he could, but X-Pac repeatedly moved out of the way, using his educated feet to remain on perfect vertical basis, X-Pac then getting set up for the final Tombstone Piledriver, but Triple H slammed the chair over Kane's spine!
- Triple H helped X-Pac keep on his feet, as Kane suddenly stood up straight, turning around to grab Triple H by the throat, but a kick to the back of the leg affected the 'Big Red Machine's balance! Triple H nailed the Pedigree on Kane as Mankind then suddenly ran for the ring! Mankind and Triple H went at it, as X-Pac got taken out by a lead pipe! Mankind clotheslined Triple H over the top rope, the two brawling through the crowd as X-Pac and Kane remained unconscious in the ring! Suddenly, Tori came out to an ovation! Tori got into the ring and attended to Kane, but then helped X-Pac up! X-Pac and Tori made out as SmackDown! went off the air!
Quick Results Kane def. X-Pac; DQ Edge, Christian def. Pete Gas, Rodney Big Show, The Rock def. Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley Faarooq def. Billy Gunn Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy def. Steve Blackman, Kurt Angle The Godfather def. Mideon to retain the WWF Hardcore title Crash Holly, Hardcore Holly def. Scotty 2 Hotty, Grandmaster Sexay Road Dogg def. Bradshaw

- Well, I don’t see Mankind losing at the Royal Rumble now that his career is on the line. Besides, I really hope that you turn him into Cactus Jack for that match, at least. Also, the demands of the matches were kind of lame aside from the Kane/Pac match. Surprised he wouldn’t put Rock in their somewhere. - Decent opening match with the right guy going over and doing so dirty. - Typical Rock interview, which is fine. - I’m interested to see what you are doing with Al Snow. - I have no interest in the Godfather with the Hardcore Championship. He just doesn’t fit that “division”. though, that was a sick aftermath by Mideon. - Solid win for the Hardy’s. Figured that Angle would turn on Blackman following the loss. - good win for Faarooq to give the APA a even amount of momentum. - Pretty good first hour main event, figured the outcome but still a good contest. - Meh, at the next match. - DQ finish was predictable once HHH made his way out to ringside. Good aftermath as well, interesting to see where Tori stands in all of this.

- The Triple H / Mankind promo was excellently done. - Good match between Road Dogg and Bradshaw - Another good match between Holly's / Too Cool - Hardcore title match was well done. Feel this one isn't quite over. - Jericho / Chyna is going good.. You're making it work. - Tag match was well done. Blackman and Angle eventually will fight I sense. - Show/Kane cage will be good, but surely if Show wants to win the Rumble he wouldn't put himself in a risky match like that? - Expected Faarooq to win following Bradshaw's loss. - I would have preffered a Dudleys win, but Rock and Show winning is good, and the aftermath is interesting. - Tag match was good. I'm feeling there's a few too many though. - Great main event. Tori heel turn is interesting.
Good show, well written, Raw should be good.

-Great Triple H promo. Liked him and Foley then.
-Road Dogg beating Bradshaw sounds like a very competitive match. And I'd like to see it.
-Funny promo for The Rock.
-Good win for the Hollys. Always liked Crash
-Would've preferred Mideon to win. I don't like the Godfather at all.
-Yay for the Hardy Boys! Kurt Angle should get a monstrous push. You are doing great.
-Faarooq picking up the win is good. Nice for him to pick up the win.
-That seemed to be a good first-hour main event with Rock and Show winning. And I hope they have a big feud
-It was obviously and smart for Edge & Christian to win. They are both cool
-Finally, after one heck of a show, the main event is here. Kane winning is my favorite part. Kane is actually like my favorite superstar. Glad to see the Foley/HHH feud resume in the end. Can't wait for the Royal Rumble.

WWW.ATTITUDETV.NET Jakked/Metal Coverage with Daniel Peterson
Saturday 15th January 2000 St Louis, Missouri, USA; Kiel Arena - Another edition of Jakked/Metal. First off, this show was taped on Monday 10th January 2000 before RAW is WAR, and succeeded from two dark matches featuring talent from Ohio Valley Wrestling. In these matches, Papi Chulo defeating Tom Howard as well as Steve Bradley overcoming Ali Stevens.
- The opening WWF Attitude signature aired, showing numerous shots of the old RAW is WAR stage before cutting to the opening video package of Jakked/Metal. We cut to the live arena following this, as Kevin Kelly and Michael Cole introduced us to the show, and hyped up tonight's card, scheduled to be main evented by the Holly Cousins being in action with Kai En Tai!
- Match #1: Gangrel with Luna Vachon defeated Stevie Richards Teddy Long was the referee. A pretty quiet way to get the match started off, and here, Stevie Richards came out to the ring dressed up as an actual vampire, but not at all like Gangrel. Gangrel was actually cheered in this one, and Luna Vachon got involved when the official's back was turned, scratching at Stevie's back. Gangrel finished Richards off in a fairly competitive match with the Impaler DDT.
- Gangrel celebrated his victory, kissing his evil vampire-girlfriend, Luna Vachon over Vamp-Stevie Richards' unconscious body.
- *A replay of The Rock and the WWF locker room's rebellion against D-Generation X from RAW is WAR from shown*
- Commercial Break
- *A replay of Big Show and Kane's battle from RAW was shown*
- Match #2.1: Ivory defeated Barbara Bush Mike Sparks was the official. This match was exclusive to the United States airing of WWF Jakked. Ivory and Barbara Bush fought in a rematch from last week's edition of Sunday Night HeAT, but here the stipulation was that interference was forbidden; meaning poor BB had to find some instant wrestling skills against the former WWF Womens Champion. Bush tried, but Ivory just brutalized her and finished it with a face-first suplex.
- Ivory celebrated her victory to boos as she motioned that she wanted the rematch against The Kat for her WWF Womens Championship back.
- *A replay of Matt Hardy and Kurt Angle's match from RAW was shown*
- Commercial Break
- *A replay of Chris Jericho and Viscera's WWF Intercontinental Championship match of RAW were shown*
- Match #2.2: Essa Rios defeated Gillberg in a non-title match Jimmy Korderas was the referee. The WWF Light Heavyweight Championship was not up for grabs in this one, as the newcomer, Essa Rios made his debut here tonight and fought well against Gillberg, showcasing his acrobatic ability and outwrestling the 'unstoppable' Gillberg whenever the champion tried. Rios was impressive, and the Jillhammer from Gillberg was reversed, Rios dropkicking Gillberg and finishing it up with a Moonsault!
- Essa Rios celebrated his victory over the WWF Light Heavyweight Champion, and maybe we could see Rios getting his hands on the title itself against Gillberg in the future!
- *A replay of Big Bossman and The Godfather's match for the WWF Hardcore Championship from RAW was shown*
- Commercial Break
- *A replay of the eight man tag team main event from RAW was shown*
- Match #3: The Holly Cousins defeated Kai En Tai Tim White was the official. With no denial, this was the match of the night by a long shot. Hardcore and Crash were motivated, but so were the two Japanese artists of martial sports, TAKA Michinoku and Sho Funaki both using their athletic ability and looking credible against the Holly Cousins. Crash was worked over as Hardcore tried to take the tag. Kai En Tai were actually the underdogs to win, and a victory roll on Hardcore almost gave them a win, too. In the end though, a Falcon Arrow to Funaki gave the former WWF Tag Team Champions victory.
- The Holly Cousins celebrated their victory over Kai En Tai as Michael Cole and Kevin Kelly promoted RAW this Monday, we go off the air!
Quick Results Hardcore Holly, Crash Holly def. Sho Funaki, TAKA Michinoku Essa Rios def. Gillberg; non-title Ivory def. BB Gangrel def. Stevie Richards

WWW.ATTITUDETV.NET HeAT Coverage with Daniel Peterson
Sunday 16th January 2000 Chicago, Illinois, USA; AllState Arena - Another week in the World Wrestling Federation, and we are now seven days away from the Royal Rumble. Still will be interesting to see what goes on in those seven days...let's go!
- The opening WWF Attitude signature aired, showing numerous shots of the old RAW is WAR stage before cutting to the opening video package of Sunday Night HeAT. We cut to the live arena following this, as Kevin Kelly and Michael Cole introduced us to this edition of HeAT and hyped up the show, main evented by Chris Jericho teaming with Chyna to face Prince Albert and Big Bossman, but right now, the WWF European Championship is on the line!
- Match #1: Val Venis defeated British Bulldog by disqualification; Val Venis retains the WWF European Championship Mike Sparks was the referee. A solid way to get things kicked off, the WWF European Championship on the line as this one has been months in the making; Bulldog losing the title to Val back at Armageddon, and Bulldog seemed incredibly motivated in his one, almost managing to take back what was his with a Running Powerslam, but Venis got a rope break in. Venis fired back, but when he was on top going for the Money Shot, Rodney shoved him off of the top rope!
- Val Venis was brutally crotched over the top rope, to the horror of every woman in attendance, as Rodney got into the ring and continued to stomp away at the WWF European Champion! British Bulldog joined in, as Joey Abs and Pete Gas all jogged to the ring to help out. The four Mean Street Posse members helped Venis onto Bulldog's shoulder, as the Running Powerslam connected! Bulldog left the WWF European Championship lying on Venis' chest.
- *A replay of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley's promo from SmackDown! was shown*
- Commercial Break
- We go to the backstage area as WWF Champion, Triple H was relaxed, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley on his arm as always, as he was watching HeAT from a television set, and he decided to make a match for RAW is WAR, and that was to feature Val Venis and British Bulldog, and it will be a non-title match; if the Mean Street Posse get involved, they're all fired. And if Bulldog wins, he will get a shot at the WWF European Championship on SmackDown!. Stephanie admired this.
- *A replay of Kurt Angle and Steve Blackman's bout with the Hardy Boyz from SmackDown! was shown*
- Match #2: Viscera defeated Mark Henry with Mae Young Teddy Long was the official This seemed to be a beefed up match, and that was an understatement. With barely a ton in the ring, this match was packed, as the dangerous big man Viscera met 'Sexual Chocolate' in competition. The crowd were behind Mark Henry as usual, Mae Young smothering him with affection on the way down to the ring, but Viscera didn't seem up for the hijinks of the two 'young lovebirds'. Mark Henry managed to get in some amazing strength, however, body slamming the much larger Viscera, but when he big splashed him, it had little effect as it usually does. Viscera then took Mark down and nailed a Big Splash of his own, getting the three!
- Viscera celebrated his victory as Mae Young attempted to slide into the ring and attend to her downed 'Sexual Chocolate', but Viscera grabbed her and shoved her down over Mark Henry! Viscera then left, grinning maliciously.
- The WWF Slam of the Week video aired, and it featured the situation between the Hardy Boyz and the Dudley Boyz, as on RAW is WAR, the Dudley Boyz kidnapped the Hardy Boyz' valet, Terri Runnels during Matt Hardy's match with Kurt Angle, and even put her through a table as the Dudley Boyz had defeated the Headbangers extremely quickly.
- *A replay of The Rock and Big Show's match with the Dudley Boyz from SmackDown! was shown*
- Commercial Break
- *A replay of Road Dogg and Bradshaw's match from SmackDown! was shown*
- *A replay of Billy Gunn and Faarooq from SmackDown! was shown*
- Match #3: Jacqueline defeated Ivory Tim White was the referee. A better match than last week here, as Jacqueline took on Ivory in a match that was a few weeks in the making, as Ivory had repeatedly made Barbara Bush, a defenseless paramedic her victim, bullying her on Jakked/Metal as well as HeAT, but on repeated occasions, it was Jacqueline that came to BB's aid. Here, both women put on the best womens match so far this year, Jacqueline attempting her stiff kicks, but Ivory dodged them. When Ivory went for the front-falling suplex though, Jacqueline reversed it into a snap suplex, hooking the legs for three!
- Jacqueline celebrated her victory as Ivory rolled out of the ring; this is obviously not the end of this one!
- A graphic appeared, hyping up tomorrow night's edition of RAW is WAR, live from New Haven, Connecticut's New Haven Coliseum!
- *A replay of X-Pac and Kane's brawl from SmackDown! was shown*
- Commercial Break
- An advertisement for the WWF Royal Rumble aired, and that will be live on pay-per-view on Sunday 23rd January 2000!
- Match #4: Chris Jericho and Chyna with The Kat defeated Prince Albert and Big Bossman Jimmy Korderas was the official. A great way to cap off this edition of Sunday Night HeAT, as the Co-WWF Intercontinental Champions had to coexist with each other tonight against another team that have previously had miscommunication in the coming weeks. Prince Albert and Big Bossman seemed reluctant, but as reluctant as Y2J and Chyna, as Chyna started off, actually pounded at Albert several times. Jericho did more though, as obviously he stood up to Albert more realistically. Bossman didn't even take the tag, refusing it when Albert wanted it. In the end, as Albert went for the torture-rack neckbreaker, Chyna punched Albert in the head and Jericho rolled Albert into the Walls of Jericho, making Albert tap out.
- Chris Jericho celebrated his victory as Big Bossman left his partner, Prince Albert lying in the ring. The WWF Womens Champion, The Kat got into the ring as Chyna had the WWF Intercontinental Championship in hand; Y2J and Chyna had a tug of war over possession of the belt as HeAT cut away!
- The entire week in the World Wrestling Federation was cut into a music video of significent moments from RAW and SmackDown!, as HeAT went off the air!
Quick Results Chris Jericho, Chyna def. Prince Albert, Big Bossman Jacqueline def. Ivory Viscera def. Mark Henry Val Venis def. British Bulldog to retain the WWF European title; DQ

-- Last Monday's edition of RAW is WAR from St Louis, Missouri was sold out at 13,923 people in the Kiel Arena. The program drew a 6.8 rating on USA Network, as the opening promo as well as the main event both drew the highest. Meanwhile, in WCW, Monday Nitro from Buffalo, New York brought 8,990 fans together into the Marine Midland Arena, as their broadcast (highlighted by Sid Vicious facing Bret Hart) drew a 3.5 rating, up from last week by 0.2.
-- Apparently, there was some concern with Bret Hart, and although this is irrelevent to World Wrestling Federation programming or news whatsoever, Bret "Hitman" Hart has officially retired from in-ring competition due to post-concussion syndrome. Bret was probably one of the best in the ring and on the microphone, but this all began to turn sideways as he was stiffly kicked in the face by WCW superstar, Bill Goldberg on December 19th at Starrcade. Unfortunately, Bret may always be remembered for being screwed by the WWF in the Montreal Screwjob; his final match was last Monday against Sid Vicious on Nitro, and he was scheduled to face Sid again tonight, at WCW's pay-per-view, Souled Out. We wish him the best.
-- WWF's SmackDown! from Chicago, Illinois this past Tuesday (aired on Thursday) drew a sell-out crowd of 13,253 into the AllState Arena. UPN SmackDown! received a 5.0, which is 0.8 down from last week. The opening promo and the quarter hour featuring The Rock and Big Show against the Dudley Boyz drew highest. Over in WCW, Thunder drew 3,947 into the Civic Center and Erie, Pennsylvania and the card (headlined by Kevin Nash and Jeff Jarrett facing Sid Vicious and Chris Benoit) drew 2.6 rating, 0.1 up from last week.
-- In the next week, two or even three matches are expected to be added to the Royal Rumble card next Sunday.
-- Apparently there is a rumor going around that an ECW superstar will be taking part in the Royal Rumble match, we personally don't know what to think about it.
-- Essa Rios, a lucha-libre artist debuted on Jakked/Metal this past weekend. He is going to be placed with the former Angelica from ECW, Amy Dumas. Rios previously worked and even competed at WrestleMania XIV, coming up short against TAKA Michinoku as Mr Aguila for the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. With his re-debut being over champion, Gillberg, he could become the champ anytime now.
-- Mick Foley has expressed signs of retiring before the year is done; the rivalry with Triple H could be the beginning, but we don't know for sure.

WWW.ATTITUDETV.NET RAW Coverage with Daniel Peterson
Monday 17th January 2000 New Haven, Connecticut, USA; New Haven Coliseum - Six days away from the Royal Rumble on pay-per-view, and there's still a lot more to come in the upcoming days, let's get to it!
- A memorial to Martin Luther King was shown. This is soon followed by an image of Stone Cold Steve Austin walking down the rampway during an edition of RAW is WAR from 1999. Jim Ross announces that tonight, we'll have coverage on Austin's three-hour surgery!
- The opening video sequence airs, showing many shots of the old RAW entrance ramp. Following this, a video package airs, reminding us of recent happenings in the main event scene of the World Wrestling Federation. Last Monday, Triple H and D-Generation X lost an eight man tag team match to The Rock, The Acolytes and Kane, and because of the result, Mick Foley was reinstated into the WWF. On SmackDown!, the two had heated words, making a street fight for the WWF Championship at the Royal Rumble between Mankind and Triple H! This is then followed by the opening video package to RAW, then cutting to the live New Haven Coliseum, pyrotechnics going off as Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler introduce us to the show and we are on the final stretch of RAW before the Royal Rumble!
- The theme of Mankind booms into the arena as the crowd cheers, Mankind coming out to the arena and getting into the ring, the crowd cheering as the number one contender to the WWF Championship climbed into the ring, in very much preparation for Sunday's battle with Triple H, a match in which Mankind could lose his career! Mankind grabbed a microphone and he talked about how he's six days away from becoming the WWF Championship, but he's not in the mood to care about a piece of gold and leather, he's more interested in Triple H's career! Mankind tells Triple H that he wants to make him suffer, then reminding Hunter that every drop of blood that he made spit from his forehead, he enjoyed it, and he's going to make Triple H bleed that much at the Royal Rumble! Mankind decided to take us back to September 1997 in Madison Square Garden; New York. Mankind, under the persona of Cactus Jack, and Triple H wrestled in a street fight, and in the end, Cactus Jack picked up the win. Mankind vowed to make Triple H taste his own blood by the end of January 23rd.
- 'My Time' soon interrupts the party, however, as Triple H makes his way out to the ring, but he is not accompanied by Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley for some reason! He has the WWF Championship in hand as well as a leather jacket, as he tells Mankind that he figures that he has 'The Game' intimidated, when he is the exact opposite. Triple H vows that on Sunday, he will show a much darker side to 'The Game' these people love to hate. Mankind invites Triple H to a match now, asking him if he was man enough to do so. Triple H then steps towards the ring, but suddenly, X-Pac, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn ran into the ring and jumped Mankind! Suddenly, the theme of The Rock hit as Rock came charging at the ring, Rock clearing house, as Rock helped Mankind to his feet. Rock grabbed a microphone and asked Triple H what he wanted to do; Triple H told Rock that tonight, he's going to let the Rock 'n' Sock Connection have one last night to show off; because it doesn't matter when Mankind is retired on Sunday! Triple H makes the New Age Outlaws against Rock and Mankind, the WWF Tag Team Championships being on the line; the winners facing the Acolytes at the Rumble! Triple H tells Mankind that it'd be fun seeing Foley face three men at the Rumble!
- Commercial Break
- A replay of what happened moments ago aired, showing Mankind calling Triple H down to the ring for a battle, but the New Age Outlaws and X-Pac got involved. The Rock was the savior, and it was announced that in our main event, the Rock 'n' Sock Connection would have one last night of freedom against the New Age Outlaws for the WWF Tag Team Championships; the winners going to face the Acolytes at the Royal Rumble! Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler discussed the main event scene as well as briefly touching on the Kane and Tori situation from SmackDown!.
- Match #1: Rikishi Phatu defeated Al Snow Mike Chioda was the official. Not too much of a significent way to kick off the show, but it was pretty one-sided in Rikishi Phatu's favor. This started on SmackDown!, as Al Snow randomly laid Rikishi Phatu out with Head after Too Cool had picked up a victory, and Rikishi was not too accepting of this. Phatu laid Snow out, but Al tried to fight back at times, using Head behind Chioda's back at one point. In the end, Rikishi kicked Snow in the head and nailed the Banzai Drop for the win.
- Rikishi Phatu celebrated his victory over Al Snow to cheers, Phatu then walking over to Al Snow and giving him Head...into the head! Phatu danced over Snow's unconscious body with the defenseless Head!
- We go to the backstage area as Triple H was shown with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley as he was standing up, motivating Billy Gunn and Road Dogg; the New Age Outlaws before their match against The Rock 'n' Sock Connection for the WWF Tag Team Championships in the main event. Triple H also told them that in return, he is going to go out and beat up Bradshaw for them, to soften up The Acolytes!
- We go to the backstage dressing room of 'Chynette', the WWF Womens Champion, The Kat and soon, she is facing Ivory for the WWF Womens Championship! She is shown adjusting her bra as the crowd go crazy.
- Commercial Break
- We go to the backstage area as Jonathan Coachman is at the interview area with Big Bossmn, as he told Coach aggressively that if Prince Albert messed up one more time, he'd wind up on the receiving end of some hard times, with the nightstick of rage!
- Match #2: Edge and Christian defeated Big Bossman and Prince Albert Jimmy Korderas was the referee. This was not too bad of a match here, as Edge and Christian showcased how much raw ability they had in them, Edge and Big Bossman starting off, as he managed to maintain dominance over the veteran Bossman; however when Christian battled him, he was uneventful. Albert powerhoused Christian around, but when Albert tried the torture rack slam on Christian, he slipped out and rolled Albert in a sunset flip; Edge taking Bossman out for the win!
- Edge and Christian dodged the action in the ring and celebrated on the rampway as Prince Albert looked outraged in the ring! Albert then turned around to find Big Bossman nailing him with a nightstick, but he ducked and nailed Bossman with a bicycle kick! Bossman fell through the ropes, Albert standing tall as the crowd were confused!
- We cut to the backstage area as the camera was rushing to a locker room as Faarooq was shown out cold on the floor as Billy Gunn and Road Dogg of the New Age Outlaws were on the scene, and Road Dogg slammed a steel chair into the ribs of Faarooq! Gunn yelled that Bradshaw would be in trouble later tonight, when he faces Triple H!
- We cut to the live arena as Kurt Angle was making his way to the ring, the Olympic Gold Medalist mentioning that at the Royal Rumble, he's scheduled to be in an Olympic Challenge Open Invitational against somebody of the World Wrestling Federation locker room, but firstly mentions that he had a good team with Steve Blackman, but the 'Lethal Weapon's attitude was negative; and Angle corrected it!
- Match #3: Kurt Angle defeated Steve Blackman in an Open Invitational Chad Patton was the referee. Not a bad match here, but the crowd weren't exactly too fond of the 'Lethal Weapon' as Steve lackman tried to avenge his Olympic Slam courtesy of Angle last Thursday on SmackDown!. He had offense, as Angle was taken down by Blackman's mixed martial-arts ability, Blackman nailing the Martial-Arts Thrust Kick, but Angle dodged it, Angle nailing the Olympic Slam for the win!
- Kurt Angle celebrated his victory to boos, as Steve Blackman was left in the ring; the Olympic Gold Medalist quickly wasted no time in leaving the ring and heading for the back.
- We go to Big Show in the backstage area as Jonathan Coachman is standing by. Coach asks Show if he's on good terms with The Rock. Show told Coach that he's tried his best to get on good terms with the crowd, but Rock has stole his thunder too many times now, and it's not right. Show promises to win the Royal Rumble on Sunday and show himself as being bigger and better than The Rock.
- We cut to see Ivory in the backstage area, warming up, as the WWF Womens Championship is on the line, next!
- Commercial Break
- We go to the ring as the WWF Intercontinental Champion, Chris Jericho was standing in the ring as he tells everybody that he has the pleasure of announcing for tonight's WWF Womens Championship bout between The Kat and Ivory.
- Match #4: Ivory defeated The Kat with Chyna to win the WWF Womens Championship Tim White was the official. A pretty disaster here, as Ivory was just in there to try and take the WWF Womens Championship, roughhousing The Kat, and the match lasted a very short length. Ivory accidentally tore The Kat's ring shirt off, leaving the champion to compete in bra, and at one point in the match, Kat went to bounce off of the ropes, but Chris Jericho pulled on Kat's foot and then pretended to not realize what happened; Kat went to yell at him from the ring, and Ivory nailed a neckbreaker, getting the win!
- Ivory grabbed the WWF Womens Championship and began to head up the rampway, Chyna getting in Chris Jericho's face at ringside; the two WWF Co-Intercontinental Champions not on the same page!
- We go to the Slam Of The Week, as it showed X-Pac and Kane competing on SmackDown!, Tori then backstabbing her boyfriend, the 'Big Red Machine' and costing him the match; siding with X-Pac!
- We see X-Pac walking into the arena, and Tori is already in the building. We will hear from him later tonight!
- Commercial Break
- Match #5: Triple H with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley defeated Bradshaw by disqualification in a non-title match Mike Chioda was the official. A pretty chaotic match as Bradshaw was beserk, in this first-hour main event. Bradshaw knew what to expect from Triple H, as Billy Gunn and Road Dogg of the New Age Outlaws had beaten down his partner of the Acolytes, Faarooq earlier tonight! Bradshaw took the WWF Champion for a brawl in the crowd, then planning to finish it with the Clothesline From Hell, getting tossed out of the ring! The WWF Tag Team Champions, the Outlaws then came to the ring but Bradshaw nailed both of them! Bradshaw grabbed a steel chair and blatantly knocked out Triple H!
- Bradshaw leaves the ring and slams the steel chair into Billy Gunn's ribs before Road Dogg clotheslines Bradshaw to the floor! Road Dogg helps Billy back up as Triple H quickly retreats with the WWF Championship and his wife, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, and the New Age Outlaws double-teamed Bradshaw! Billy Gunn and Road Dogg stood tall.
- We cut to pre-recorded comments from Michael Cole, as he was at the clinic in San Antonio, Texas earlier today in a report of Stone Cold Steve Austin's three-hour neck surgery. He notes the doctor as being Dr Lloyd Youngblood, then showing footage of the press conference. Youngblood informed us of the surgery and that it went very smoothly, telling us of the problem being that some bones were pressing on the spinal chord and these were causing him pain. When asked whether Austin would return to the ring, Youngblood told Cole that he'd be back within three-to-seven months.
- Commercial Break.
- A replay of what just happened with Bradshaw, Triple H and the New Age Outlaws airs.
- We cut to Kevin Kelly as he is standing by with The Rock, as Kelly reminds him of the WWF Tag Team Championships match tonight, in which The Rock 'n' Sock Connection will return for one more match, maybe one last match against the New Age Outlaws. Rock firstly mentions that he'd give Stone Cold Steve Austin a toast for the neck surgery. Rock moves on to mention the Big Show for what he's been doing lately, thinking that Rock has overshadowed him. Rock turns it into Show being taller than him, and so Kelly is acting like a piece of monkeycrap just like Show is. Rock calls Show a jabroni, insults him and then tells Show that there is no way that he will win the Royal Rumble. Rock delivers his catchphrase to finish.
- We cut to the backstage office as Triple H was speaking with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, the two relaxing after the aggravated brawl with Bradshaw, but suddenly Chyna walked in. Triple H gives her a weird look as Stephanie seems jealous. Chyna tells Triple H that she wants Chris Jericho at the Royal Rumble! Triple H calms her down and tells her she's got it; and the winner becomes the Undisputed WWF Intercontinental Champion. Chyna smiles and leaves. Steph asks Hunter why he ever went out with her.
- Match #6: Bubba Ray Dudley with D-Von Dudley defeated Jeff Hardy with Matt Hardy Jimmy Kordeas was the referee. A pretty solid match, as Jeff wanted to avenge Terri Runnels' injury by the Dudley Boyz last week; Jeff was on fire at the start up of the match, Jeff removing his shirt and nailing the move called the 'Whisper in the Wind'. Jeff had offense, but one full nelson bomb took Jeff out of energy. Bubba worked over Jeff throughout the match, and things got heated with Matt Hardy and D-Von Dudley, Matt and D-Von trading blows before Matt nailed the Twist of Fate on D-Von on the floor! Jeff tried a hurricanrana, but got powerbombed Bubba for the win!
- Bubba Ray Dudley celebrated his victory as Matt Hardy suddenly dived into the ring, trading blows with Bubba but D-Von Dudley suddenly took him out from behind, nailing the 3D on Matt! Jeff Hardy then recovered as he tried to take out both Dudley Boyz, only for Bubba to give him another powerbomb, D-Von getting the tables as Jeff fought back, tossing Bubba out of the ring, Jeff then suplexing D-Von through the table! Jeff helped his brother up, tag team tables on Sunday!
- Commercial Break
- We go to the live arena as the theme of X-Pac was playing into the arena, the crowd booing extra loudly tonight, as the obnoxious man himself came down to the ring in the DX shirt and a leather jacket, X-Pac showing in between clips of the D-Generation X titantron. X-Pac got into the ring and talked about how great it was to be here in scumtown, and he hopes that everybody in New Haven is loving him, because Kane's sweetheart is! X-Pac introduced Tori, as his theme hit again, Tori slowly prancing out to the ring to boos, wearing a green tanktop to benefit the DX name! Tori and X-Pac made out in the ring to boos before pyrotechnics hit all corner posts! The crowd popped as the lights went out, Kane's theme playing, getting the fans ready for the arrival of the 'Big Red Machine'...but X-Pac and Tori dashed through the crowd!
- Commercial Break
- We go to the live arena as the Mean Street Posse were already in the ring with British Bulldog, and Bulldog was prepared for combat with the WWF Hardcore Champion in non-title action. The Goodfather came out to the arena and told the Mean Street Posse that they could have his Hos tonight if they let him and Bulldog, and only him and Bulldog settle this! With that, Rodney, Pete Gas and Joey Abs left the ring, as Godfather went to the ring; the Posse leaving with the Hos!
- Match #8: British Bulldog defeated The Godfather with Hos in a non-title match Chad Patton was the official. This wasn't a good match, but it didn't last too long. British Bulldog had been abandoned for Hos by the Mean Street Posse, as The Godfather wrestled Bulldog in an uncharacteristically non-title match. The WWF Hardcore Champion and the former WWF Intercontinental Champion both wrestled back and forth, Godfather going for the Ho Train and missing, then nailing the Pimp Drop after reversing a Running Powerslam attempt. Mideon came out to the rampway as Bulldog nailed the Running Powerslam for the three!
- British Bulldog celebrated his victory in confusion, the crowd booing as Mideon glared and grinned to an unconscious WWF Hardcore Champion, The Godfather.
- Commercial Break
- Match #9: The Rock 'n' Sock Connection defeated The New Age Outlaws by disqualification; The New Age Outlaws retain the WWF Tag Team Championships Earl Hebner was the official. An epic main event here, as the New Age Outlaws took on their rivals from the past autumn, the Rock 'n' Sock Connection in what was potentially the final time that The Rock and Mankind could team up on an edition of RAW. Rock and Mankind both seemed motivated, Mankind seemingly prepared for intererence from X-Pac or Triple H, and Rock took both Billy Gunn and Road Dogg down repeatedly before being taken out; Rock's arm beig worked over by the Outlaws. Rock battled back eventually, getting the tag to Mankind as he just took both men down and applied the Mandible Claw on Dogg, but Billy slammed a chair into his spine!
- Billy Gunn nailed the Fame-Asser on Mankind as Road Dogg slammed the steel chair into The Rock's skull, Triple H then coming down to the ring, Triple H mocking a semi-conscious Mankind and an unconscious Rock but suddenly, Mankind came to life, nailing Billy with the chair, throwing Road Dogg out of the ring as Mankind and the WWF Champion traded blows! Mankind clotheslined Triple H out of the ring, continuing the assault before placing him over the announce table; a chair in hands, he dived off of the apron onto him! Mankind then got a barbwire bat, nailing Hunter with it, between the eyes! He set it alight as the crowd went nuts, 'Foley' being chanted, but D-Generation X fled up the rampway! Mankind stood tall with The Rock as RAW wnt off the air!
Quick Results The Rock, Mankind def. Billy Gunn, Road Dogg in a WWF Tag Team title match; DQ British Bulldog def. The Godfather in a non-title match Bubba Ray Dudley def. Jeff Hardy Bradshaw def. Triple H in a non-title match; DQ Ivory def. The Kat to win the WWF Womens title Kurt Angle def. Steve Blackman Christian, Edge def. Prince Albert, Big Bossman Rikishi Phatu def. Al Snow

Ok first of all I want to inform you I know little-nothing about the time period in terms of WWF apart from I've seen the No Way Out a couple of times, so I wont have a great idea of what was happening in terms of feuds and a like at the time. I do think 9 matches is a little long however OWW suggests there where about 7 or 8 matches a week on Raw anyway so it's realistic just takes a bit of time to read . Very good opening and the DX ambush was good, hoping it ends up Rock v HHH at Mania. Rikishi v Snow didn't seem that interesting but I like to imagine him dancing around an unconscious Snow. Nice to see E&C get the win hoping you push them for a Tag Title shot. Meh at Ivory winning the womens title but glad to see your giving Chyna and Jericho a bit of time to build up their feud. HHH v Bradshaw sounded pretty entertaining and had a nice finish with Bradshaw trying to get revenge, good stuff. Great to see Chyna v Jericho at the Rumble, meh would have preferred Jeff got the win but sounded like a decent match. Next match sounded dull but hoping you give British Bulldog a nice big push purely for obvious reasons . Main Event and the finish to the show sounded awesome and your building the Mankind HHH feud really well. There isn't a match on the Rumble card that doesn't look good, looking forward to it.

Rikishi vs Snow - okay way to start off RAW while keeping up the fued with Too Cool & Snow. Push the (sorta) newcommer Rikishi I kinda LOL'd @ the Kat segment The interference with Jericho heats up the Chyna feud. Will the Tag Team Title match be able to happen at the PPV? LOL, I remember Bulldog w/ the Posse. Good main event, but it was obvious something would happen, being that The Outlaws have to defend them at the PPV.
If you wanna reply to TCW, you can, but I know how you feel about sign-ups.

Nice opening promo. Rikishi winning is the better decision. Christian and Edge getting the win is good. Angle over Blackman was the right decision. Ivory winning the Womens Title, good. Not a fan of Kat really. Think HHH could of beaten Bradshaw in any way... but giving Bradshaw the win by DQ would be the only logical way of Bradshaw winning. Bubba beating Jeff? Alright. British Bulldog vs The Godfather... different. Glad Bulldog won. The Rock and Mankind winning by DQ was a good choice.
Good show, little long, but good show.

- Again, really long show. I’d think you’d be able to cut down on some stuff. If I miss something, sorry. - Obviously the Rock n Sock Connection will not be winning the titles. That just wouldn’t make sense. - Decent opener as Rikishi was really picking up steam around this time. - Glad to see Edge and Christian picking up the win over Bossman/Albert. Albert face turn? - I wonder if you will have Tazz debut at Rumble and beat Angle? I hope so and give Tazz a good push. - Would’ve preferred HHH to beat Bradshaw in the middle of the ring. Bradshaw doesn’t need to save face in my opinion. - Hope Austin doesn’t return to the ring until October like he did in real life. - Solid match with Bubba/Jeff. - I hope Bulldog gets one, last good run. - Very good main event and aftermath. Liked that a lot.

WWW.ATTITUDETV.NET SmackDown! Coverage with Daniel Peterson
Thursday 20th January 2000 Providence, Rhode Island, USA - Providence Civic Center - We are three days away, and it looks as though the card for the Royal Rumble is nearly finalized! I think it's time to see what goes down tonight.
- We kick off SmackDown! tonight in the locker room of D-Generation X as Triple H was seated on the couch, his head back with both hands on his head as Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley was by his side, trying to comfort him. Beside him on another couch were the New Age Outlaws with the WWF Tag Team Championships as well as X-Pac with Tori. Triple H tells Billy Gunn and Road Dogg that they did a good job on Monday, taking out both Acolytes on RAW but tonight, he wants them to annihilate Mankind, and he has a way of doing so; Triple H sets up a handicap match for Mankind against both Billy Gunn and Road Dogg! Lastly, Triple H mentions that it will be a no disqualification match, and Mankind can lose by bleeding, being pinned or made to submit! The Outlaws like that, as Triple H tells X-Pac that him and Tori have done a great job of putting Kane through hell once again, and tonight, he wants X-Pac to face The Rock, Big Show and Kane, and the winner will become number thirty in the Royal Rumble! X-Pac doesn't know what to do, as the DX disperse; Triple H sitting back; Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley telling Hunter to relax tonight.
- The opening SmackDown! video package aired, highlighting the World Wrestling Federation superstars in a fast-paced music video, mixed in with blue to coincide with SmackDown!'s colors. From there, we cut to the live arena as pyrotechnics go off, and we are on for SmackDown!, the fans in Providence getting prepared for SmackDown!. Michael Cole and Jerry "King" Lawler promote the Royal Rumble in seventy-two hours, featuring Mankind facing both New Age Outlaws in a first blood, no disqualification handicap match; plus X-Pac, Kane, The Rock and Big Show compete for the number thirty spot!
- We kick off SmackDown! tonight with the theme of the Big Show, as pyrotechnics going off, Big Show making his way down to the ring wearing street gear, Show not looking happy yet gathering a mixed reaction from this crowd. Show immediately gets a 'Rocky' chant, as Show frowns and begins to talk about banishing the 'R-word' from being used when he's out here. Show talks about not being the person these people want to be, and that tonight this competition with The Rock has been blown out of proportion and he wants to settle things with The Rock, but Rock is too obnoxious to do that. Show tells the fans that they boo him because him and The Rock have had miscommunication, and it is getting pretty boring now. Show tells everybody that this Sunday at the Royal Rumble, he will win the Rumble, and it will not be The Rock going to WrestleMania; it will be the Big Show, and nobody will be able to take that away from him! Show then tells everybody that tonight, he will also add insult before injury, when he dismantles Rock, when he dismantles X-Pac and he dismantles Kane to get the number thirty spot in the Rumble! The Rock soon interrupts Show, as the crowd pop loudly, Rock coming out to the rampway!
- Another 'Rocky' chant booms into the arena as Show continues to tell Rock that he will destroy him if he gets in his way tonight! Rock puts over Show instead, telling him that he is one of the most impressive specimen and he is a bitch for whining! Show got hot as Rock continued, telling him that tonight, Show will go over the top rope, leave the arena and The Rock will get the number thirty slot. And Sunday, he will toss Show over the top rope again, Show will leave and keep his face out of Rock's business, and Rock will go to WrestleMania and win the WWF Championship! Rock left to a loud pop as Show was pissed.
- An advertisement airs, promoting the WWF Championship street fight this Sunday at the Royal Rumble, between Triple H and Mankind, and if Mankind loses, he will retire!

- Match #1: Chris Jericho defeated Test to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship Teddy Long was the referee. Not a bad way to kick off SmackDown! tonight, as Chris Jericho has to face his Co-Intercontinental Champion copadre, Chyna this Sunday at the Royal Rumble, though tonight he has to prove himself against the big man, Test. Test dominated the much smaller Y2J in the opening moments, as the crowd popped, a pumphandle slam looked like it was going to be over, but Y2J managed to narrowly kick out. Test went up for the diving elbow drop, however it would be Chris Benoit of all people knocking him from the top! Teddy Long was distracted, and the springboard moonsault gave Jericho the three!
- Chris Jericho celebrated his victory, confused, as security all came to get the WCW wrestler, Chris Benoit out of the arena! Test did not look pleased.
- We cut to Chyna in the backstage area, as she was not looking pleased watching on a monitor, she faces Chris Jericho on Sunday for the WWF Undisputed Intercontinental Championship!

- We cut to the locker room as Al Snow was wandering around, his Head in hand as he was walking around, everybody in the locker room, Jimmy Korderas, The Holly Cousins, Too Cool, everybody all glaring at Al, showing us that Snow was not too popular in the backstage area.
- Match #2: Too Cool defeated Al Snow and Bull Buchanan Chad Patton was the referee. Bull Buchanan is practically unknown to the WWF audience, but has been training in Ohio Valley Wrestling recently, he is a large yet agile wrestler, at 6'6, 265 pounds. Buchanan managed to take down Grandmaster Sexay and work away at him, Scotty 2 Hotty begging for a tag. Buchanan nailed a powerful spinning spinebuster, but for some reason Al Snow just got into the ring and knocked his partner's lights out with Head! Scotty got the tag, and nailed The Worm for the win!
- Al Snow left as Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay of Too Cool celebrated the win; the newcomer Bull Buchanan left unconscious on the floor.

- Commercial Break
- Match #3: Matt Hardy with Terri Runnels defeated D-Von Dudley Jim Korderas was the official. Decent match here, as these two teams are scheduled to face off at the Royal Rumble this Sunday. Due to the occurence of Matt and D-Von appearing during Bubba Ray Dudley and Jeff Hardy's match on RAW, Monday, interference was prohibited from the other two members of each team. Terri didn't get involved, but D-Von attempted to go after her during the match, causing him to be distracted; this allowed Hardy to nail the move he's called the Twist of Fate, picking up the victory.
- Matt Hardy celebrated his victory as the crowd cheered, but suddenly, at the rampway, Bubba Ray Dudley dragged Jeff Hardy out, the crowd booing. Matt looked fatigued as he could only watch as Bubba Ray picked up Jeff and powerbombed him off of the stage through two tables! Matt rushed up the rampway with Terri Runnels as the Dudley Boyz took off!

- Commercial Break
- We cut to Crash Holly in the backstage area with Hardcore Holly, Hardcore complaining that Crash was leaching off of his success. Crash seemed hyper, shoving Hardcore twice before Hardcore started shoving back, Crash yelling that he'd find his own competition! Crash stormed out and walked right into Val Venis, as Crash demanded a match with Venis tonight! Venis told him that it was on, Crash then leaving as Val chuckled, the WWF European Champion in action with Crash tonight!
- Match #4: Rikishi Phatu defeated Rodney with Pete Gas and Joey Abs Mike Chioda was the referee. A pretty simple joke of a match tonight on SmackDown!. Rodney got into the ring, and what he did was dance! He 'backed it up' before Rikishi simply knocked his head off with a kick to the face! Joey Abs and Pete Gas then got into the ring, but Phatu took both of them down with a clothesline, then nailing Rodney with the Rikishi Driver for the easy win!

- Commercial Break
- Match #5: Mankind defeated The New Age Outlaws in a No-Disqualification handicap match Mike Sparks was the official. A great match here, but it was mainly one-sided as the New Age Outlaws were just too much for Mankind to handle. Mankind tried to fight both men off, but Billy Gunn gave Mankind a low blow, leading to the madman's downfall. Mankind was worked over as Road Dogg worked the ribs with a steel chair, Billy Gunn delivering a Fame-Asser through a table, but Mankind just wouldn't go down! He tried more to fight out of the Outlaws' wrath, and The Acolytes then came out to brawl with The Outlaws, Bradshaw delivering the Clothesline From Hell on Billy Gunn as Road Dogg was given a Dominator from Faarooq; Mankind covered Gunn for three!
- The Acolytes left as Mankind tried to get back to his feet, then leaving the ring to pull out a barbwire baseball bat; Mankind getting into the ring and swinging for Gunn but missing; however he connected with a shot to Road Dogg's spine! Mankind had gone nuts as Triple H watched on from the television set with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley in the McMahon-Helmsley Office.
- A summarized clip of Michael Cole's report on Stone Cold Steve Austin's neck surgery was shown with Dr. Lloyd Youngblood.
- Commercial Break
- Match #6: Crash Holly defeated Val Venis to win the WWF European Championship Jack Doan was the referee. It turned out to be a set up here, as Crash Holly managed to take on Val Venis in what seemed to be a very back-and-forth match from what it appeared. Venis seemed confident, as Crash seemed eager, going for the sneaky victory at any opportunity in which he could get. Venis missed a Money Shot, but Crash nailed the DDT for a near fall, too. Hardcore Holly soon came to ringside, as he tripped Venis up in the ropes! Edge then ran to ringside to even the odds, but Crash rolled up a distracted Val Venis for the three!
- Crash Holly celebrated his victory by darting out of the ring, Hardcore Holly celebrating with him as The Holly Cousins left in possession of the WWF European Championship! In the ring, Val Venis was pissed off, Edge climbing into the ring to reconcile the shocked former WWF European Champion! The Outlaws stood tall over The Acolytes in the Friendly Tap; three days from Royal Rumble!
- Match #7: Kane defeated The Rock, Big Show and X-Pac with Tori to gain the #30 spot in the Royal Rumble Mike Chioda was the referee. The rules for this match was that it was four men competing for the number thirty spot, and the match was fought under sudden death ruling, pretty much a fatal four way bout. Kane spent a lot of the match chasing X-Pac around the ring. Tori ended up fleeing for the backstage area as the 'Big Red Machine' tried going after his former girlfriend. The Rock and Big Show also spent a considerable amount of time brawling around the ring, as Show ended up giving Rock a huge Chokeslam! Kane and Show traded blows before Kane clotheslined Show over the top, X-Pac going to pin Rock but Kane broke it up, Kane winning with the Tombstone Piledriver!
- Kane set off his pyrotechnics as X-Pac rolled out of the ring, X-Pac cowering up the rampway with Tori as a wall of flames appeared in front of them! Kane taunted as The Rock and Big Show continued brawling once again, SmackDown! going off the air!
