I sure have some catching up to do Dan... SD - 1/13Mankind putting his career on the line, I see him actually losing at the Royal Rumble. Some interesting matches made here tonight. Shame that Road Dogg got the victory, but a solid way to start the night action wise. Rock promo got the point across but I don't see him teaming well with Show tonight. Some tag action now and Holly Cousins actually winning puzzles me. Al Snow clocking Rikishi with Head makes for something interesting. Godfather retaining over Mideon is good news as I would want him to have a solid reign. Hardys over Blackman/Angle shock me honestly. Good thing the Angle streak isn't over. Hopefully its Taz you bring in. Show has some words here and the Steel Cage match will be entertaining indeed! Good thing Faarooq got himself the win. Redeemed the Acolytes here. Interesting to see this so early on in the night, but Rock/Show winning makes me happy. Don't like the Dudleys, but that is their job I suppose. Kinda squash tag match here with the E&C. Push them well PLEASE. Val helping Edge is great and I wonder what will happen with that Wedding. Awesome main event & very happy to see Kane over X-Pac, even by DQ. WHAT! Tori with the swerve on everyone to help out X-Pac. Solid Smackdown! Raw - 1/17 Rock N Sock vs. NAO will be interesting enough indeed. I dig the opening Foley promo though. Rikishi getting some revenge for Smackdown definitely with this one-sided match. Triple H pumping up DX is great. HARD TIMES! Bossman laying down the law definitely. E&C picking up another win makes me extremely happy and Albert one-uping Bossman is great. NAO laying out Faarooq works as Bradshaw will have to fight for himself now. Angle over Blackman...predictable. Jericho helping Ivory win is classic and its about time for a new credible champion. Hopefully this brings a wave of better women's matches Dan! Damn, with Bradshaw sorta over coming DX, I thought he would walk out tall. I was wrong unfortunately. Austin out for that long makes me wonder. Rock calling Show monkeycrap makes me miss the Rock so much. I got that old school vibe now. Jericho/Chyna at the Rumble is great. Hopefully Jericho takes home the gold! Bleh, Blubber Ray over Hardy makes me bitter. Good thing Jeff got some revenge afterward. This Kane/X-Pac feud is getting interesting. Bulldogg over Godfather is interesting and I wonder where this Mideon/GF feud is going! GREAT way to end Raw. I was hoping for a Rock N Sock win, but its fine. Awesome way for Mankind to redeem himself going into Smackdown. SD - 1/20Alright, last stop before the Rumble! Wow, shocking here. Triple H wants Mankind annihilated. Handicap match should do the trick and possibly X-Pac gets #30? These Rock promos just make me miss him so much Dan. That match tonight should be great indeed. Jericho retaining over Test with Benoit's help intrigues me. Wonder what you'll do with this WCW superstar. Too Cool getting some momentum going over the lowly Al Snow and, well, the unknown Bull Buchanan. Happy to see Matt over D-Von, but the Powerbomb off the stage is absolutely insane. I wonder if Jeff will be able to go this Sunday now. Easy win for Rikishi who has been rolling lately. Bulldogg is picking fights with everyone lately. Surprising, but great win for Mankind. The Acolytes come for the save! WHAT. DID CRASH ING HOLLY JUST WIN THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP? I just don't get it, but it seems like the WWF's booking. NAO attacking the Acolytes at the bar was pretty amusing. Kane winning was out of the blue and I like that. The Royal Rumble is set up nicely with this last edition of Smackdown! I'm pumped for the Rumble Dan!

Test just demolished the poor WWF Light Heavyweight Champion, as Duane Gill tried to overpower the six-foot-six giant, Test, Test easily tossing him around like a rag doll, turning his pale skin red and then leaving Gillberg in physical ruins with a massive pumphandle slam, which gave Test the win.

Essa Rios further showed himself as a great competitor, Mosh and Thrasher not being able to keep up. The Headbangers and Luna made for an intriguing team, too. Stevie Richards tried fitting in as Aguila Richards, and he nailed the clothesline taking Mosh out of the ring, Essa nailing a moonsault for three.

Grandmaster Sexay eventually managed to pull the tag, as he made the save, clearing the ring of Crash, Scotty nailing the Worm on Hardcore Holly for the three!
- Too Cool began to dance as the crowd cheered, the announcers hyping up the Royal Rumble; WWF Jakked/Metal goes off the air!

- We cut to the ring, as the theme of Big Show plays into the arena, pyrotechnics going off, as Big Show made a walk down to the ring in street attire, Show with a microphone in hand and getting mainly a negative reaction from the capacity crowd. Show quesitoned the fans for booing him now. Show spoke that he's out here now because The Rock hasn't arrived yet, but if he had, he'd be out here in no time! Show spoke out on how motivated he is to win tonight's Royal Rumble match, and he will plough through anybody, whether it be D-Generation X, The Godfather, Kane, Rikishi Phatu or Crash Holly. Show told everybody that tonight was his night to shine, and nobody else could ruin that, or take it away from him. Show mentioned that he just wants to go to WrestleMania XVI to get what he wants, and that is the WWF Championship he lost three weeks ago on unfair conditions! The crowd booed as Show left the ring, beginning to head for the back.
- Commercial Break
- A segment aired, reminding us of WWF New York opening up in Times Square last week, with footage of Sugar Ray performing there, many of the fans at WWF New York having a good time, a few of them having words from Jonathan Coachman.
- From there, we go to WWF New York, as Jonathan Coachman was standing by with the guest for tonight, Linda McMahon, the CEO of the World Wrestling Federation! Coach asked her on her comments about the McMahon-Helmsley Era, Linda talking about how the hostile takeover came from right under her nose, Stephanie McMahon ruining everything that was the McMahon Family name, and merging with such a bastard, Triple H. - An intense video package aired, promoting Triple H and Mankind's history leading up to the Street Fight tonight for the WWF Championship; if Mankind loses, he has to retire!
- Commercial Break[
- Match #1: Essa Rios defeated Funaki Mike Sparks was the referee. Actually not too bad a match here, the Royal Rumble preview bout, as both of these men are not expected to be in the Royal Rumble later tonight, Funaki should have been, but a space in the Rumble had been mysteriously taken away, and on Jakked the previous night, it was partner TAKA Michinoku who beat Funaki to gain the last remaining slot. Essa Rios showed once again how divine and agile a performer he is, Funaki attempting a hurricarana, getting powerbombed and Essa nailed the Moonsault for the win!
- Essa Rios celebrated his victory.

Sunday 23rd January 2000 New York City, New York, USA; Madison Square Garden Live on Pay-Per-View - We're live, it's Sunday, it's the annual pre-spring classic as the Road to WrestleMania XVI begins with the Royal Rumble from Madison Square Garden!
- The opening video package for World Wrestling Federation programming aired, hyping us up for this special edition of WWF programming on pay-per-view. Many explosions are shown as well as the old RAW is WAR stage.
- A dramatic video package airs, assembled with Triple H and Mankind, as both men have brawled with one another as far back as 1997, but this summer, their wires crossed once again as Triple H beat Mankind to win the WWF Championship on RAW in August! Triple H gained power, marrying Vince McMahon's daughter, Stephanie, and the McMahon-Helmsley Era began in the WWF; torturing many superstars including Mankind, who lost a Pink Slip on a Pole match to his own friend, The Rock. Mankind was eventually rehired after WWF stars rebelled, but Mankind's pride was broken as Triple H had gotten an imposter Mankind to go around mocking him and mocking his family. The two have brawled, physically and verbally, but tonight, in a street fight for the WWF Championship, Mankind will put his career at stake against 'The Game'!
- We cut to a graphic of the Royal Rumble logo, as 1-800 Collect will be sponsoring this event. We cut to the live Madison Square Garden as pyrotechnics go off, the fans electric for the World Wrestling Federation in the heart of where it all began! The stage resembles a back-alley, a very short rampway shaped like a road as Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler happily introduce us to the thirteenth annual Royal Rumble!
- The theme of the Dudley Boyz played into the arena as the crowd booed, the team then entering with a table in hands, as they set it up at ringside, D-Von and Bubba Ray Dudley entering the ring and grabbing a microphone. Bubba spoke about New York City positively, before gathering some heat for disrespecting the New York baseball team in the World Series. Bubba told everybody that the Yankee's suck, and the Boston Red Sox rule!
- Match #1: The Hardy Boyz defeated The Dudley Boyz in the first-ever Tag Team Tables match Jim Korderas was the referee. This was one hot way to get things rolling for the Royal Rumble, as this capacity crowd in Madison Square Garden were electric for this. The Hardy Boyz were missing Terri Runnels tonight, possibly due to her recent injuries from the Dudley Boyz, possibly because later tonight she'll be participating in the WWF Womens Championship Bikini Contest. But that wasn't the main deal here. The rules were that both members of a team had to be put through a table, and this one went all over the shop; Jeff and Matt had to fight fire with fire and brawl with Bubba Ray and D-Von, and it worked at that. Matt was the first man to be eliminated at the five minute mark, however, as the two Dudleys nailed the Dudley Death Drop on Matt through a table. Jeff seemed to be next, as Bubba went to the top rope and attempted to put Jeff through a table with the infamous top rope powerbomb of his, but Jeff reversed it into a hurricanrana, taking Bubba out at the nine minute mark! Jeff and Bubba brawled then into the crowd, both men brawling into a scaffolding part, as Bubba illegally came back into the match. Matt then fought him off as Bubba tried powerbombing Jeff from the top of the scaffolding down through three tables, but Matt suddenly took Bubba out, D-Von got laid onto a table as Jeff removed his shirt and dove fifteen feet from the scaffolding through three tables and D-Von with a Swanton Bomb!
- The Hardy Boyz' theme played loudly into the arena as the crowd cheered loudly for the victors. Jeff Hardy was helped from the ruins by his brother, Matt as the two Hardy Boyz once again rode high, celebrating in the audience, the Dudley Boyz all scattered around in the ruins of their own tables!
- We cut to the backstage area as Terri Runnels was shown in a dressing gown with Michael Cole as Cole seemed persistent that Terri give him a sneak peak of her bikini costume for later tonight, just now. Terri seemingly goes to open her cleavage, her back to the camera before a fatigued pair, the Hardy Boyz limped onto the scene. Terri stopped, closed her cleavage and ran over to hug them, as Cole held back sorrow and congratulated them on a good job well done tonight. Matt speaks about how the Dudley Boyz thought they could wreck them, but it just wasn't their night. Jeff spoke out about wanting the WWF Tag Team Championships, and that is what they plan to do after Terri wins the WWF Womens Championship tonight!
- A graphic appears, as this begins to get Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler to talk about the upcoming match up between Chyna and Chris Jericho; two enemies brought together by the want of one thing forced to be shared amongst themselves; the WWF Intercontinental Championship. It all started when Y2J was still brand new to the World Wrestling Federation, and stuck his nose in Chyna's business, citing dislike to a woman being the WWF Intercontinental Champion. He failed to win it at Survivor Series, and again at Armageddon, however on a SmackDown! before the turn of the millenium, Jericho and Chyna ended up pinning each others' shoulders to the mat in a match also involving Hardcore Holly. Both were ordered by Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley to team and share the belt, both having to save the rival from losing their belt, however things got intense when Y2J cost Chyna's 'Chynette', The Kat the WWF Womens Championship on RAW last Monday. It comes down to a WWF Undisputed Intercontinental Champion...now!
- Match #2: Chris Jericho defeated Chyna to become the Undisputed WWF Intercontinental Champion Chad Patton and Teddy Long were the officials. Two officials were used in this one just for precaution, as previous controversy brought them to become WWF Co-Intercontinental Champions, Chyna and Chris Jericho; rivals of three months had another shot to finally end the rivalry and the winner would walk out the 100% champ. Chris Jericho and Chyna have both won many hard-fought battles in the past weeks, but Chyna seemed to know what she was doing this time, Chyna overpowering Jericho on two or three occasions, even dropping Y2J with the gorilla press slam. Chyna had the crowd on her side, but a good 60% were still on the side of the 'Ayotollah of Rock 'n' Rollah'. Y2J gained momentum with an enziguri, as Chyna was worked over, Jericho still totally playing the villain in this one. Chyna soon managed to fire back, even attempting her former ally, Triple H's Pedigree, but Jericho flipped her onto her back, applying the Walls of Jericho! Y2J stretched and stretched as Chyna wrived in pain, trying to overpower it, and almost doing so by reaching the ropes, but Jericho pulled her away again! Chyna had no choice but to tap, as both officials called for the bell!
- Chris Jericho celebrated his victory by collapsing to the canvas, Chad Patton and Teddy Long both fetching Y2J his WWF Intercontinental Championship to keep. Y2J celebrated, rolling out of the ring a fatigued man, screaming 'I'm the king of the world' to actual cheers from the Madison Square Garden audience. Chyna remained on her front in the ring, semi-conscious.
- We return to the backstage area as Kevin Kelly was standing by with The Rock! The Rock then appeared to an amazing response from the crowd, as a 'Rocky' chant was energized and spread throughout Madison Square Garden. Kelly went to ask him on his method to victory against the twenty-nine other superstars in tonight's Royal Rumble bout, just to be cut off by Rock's hand in his face! Rock told Kelly that he thought he knew by now; that when The Rock is being interviewed, he needs to know his role and shut his mouth when spoken to! Rock talks about throwing twenty-nine other jabronis over the top rope, but being afraid of only two threats; Mean Street Posse's Pete Gas and Al Snow! Rock tells him that with the fans chanting his name ['Rocky' chant], he should somehow be able to put their monkey asses over the top rope with the help of MSG and Jesus on his side! He finishes off with his catchphrase.
- We cut to the live arena as the crowd booed, Kurt Angle making his way out to the ring as the Olympic Gold Medalist made a quick run for the ring and climbed the steps, then grabbing a microphone as the crowd chanted 'Angle sucks'. Kurt tells the fans to shove it, telling them that they need to respect a Bob Backlund-like patriot, such as himself! Angle tells everybody of his motivation to become WWF Champion like their old American hero himself, and he will do that, not by winning the Royal Rumble and tossing twenty-nine other jerks over the top rope, but with his three 'I's. Angle invites out his opponent from the World Wrestling Federation locker room as the crowd are anticipated...
- Match #3: Tazz defeated Kurt Angle Tim White was the referee. That's right, the former ECW World Heavyweight Champion. The former 'Human Suplexing Machine', Taz from Extreme Championship Wrestling was up for the task of facing Kurt Angle, and the Olympic Gold Medalist was definitely not expecting a challenge by the likes of this! Tazz was furious as the 'Human Suplexing Machine' repeatedly used different variations of suplexes, from the T-Bone to the Tazzplex, just dominating Angle before Angle grabbed the ankle and tried to go to work on it. The match didn't actually last long, but it seemed like everybody in Madison Square Garden knew who Tazz was. Angle at one point attempting the belly-to-belly overhead suplex, but Tazz used it against him, and when Angle attempted an overhead fireman's carry, Tazz locked in the Tazzmission! Angle passed out via choking as the crowd roared.
- Tazz celebrated his premiere victory in the World Wrestling Federation, as Kurt Angle remained unconscious on the canvas, official Tim White checking on him! Tazz got onto the turnbuckle, a victory for this mysterious force, coming right out of Paul Heyman's Extreme Championship Wrestling!
- Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler spoke of an invasion it seemed, from Philadelphia, as Kurt Angle was helped out by Tim White and Jim Korderas, King complaining that Angle was choked out, and that loss should be taken from Angle's win-loss record by all accounts! JR briefly mentioned the 'superstar from Atlanta' invading RAW last Monday from Providence, Rhode Island, costing Test the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Chris Jericho. JR informs us that nobody is allowed to refer to this outsider by name in case an organization sues them.
- Match #4: Mae Young defeated Ivory, BB, Jacqueline, The Kat, Terri Runnels, Luna Vachon and Lillian Garcia to win the WWF Womens Championship in a Miss Royal Rumble Bikini Contest Sgt Slaughter, Val Venis, Gerald Brisco, Andy Richter and George Steele were the judges Yes, folks, you read it right. Jerry "King" Lawler presented it, as WWF alumni, Val Venis and comedian, Andy Richter judged it, the seven original women in this looking sizzling. BB removed her shirt to reveal a nice leather bikini, whilst Terri wore a skimpy flesh-colored, tight bikini. RAW ring announcer, Lillian Garcia showed off a lovely pink bikini, complete with a bucket of water; Jacqueline wearing a cowboy hat and an original one-piece swimsuit, performing a bizarre ghetto dance, but showing a whole lot of ass. Luna Vachon was wearing a blue bikini, but seemed less interested in participating compared to the others. The Kat showed off a bubblewrap bikini, very unique, also. However, suddenly, Ivory decided that she didn't want to do it, she didn't want to put her title on the line in this degrading a manner for horny New Yorker men to see! The fans chanted for a substitute, as Fabulous Moolah's theme hit! Mae Young pranced out to the worst screams of terror ever as King told her to keep the puppies in their home! Mae undressed and bribed the judges and the audience into giving her the win and the WWF Womens Championship, and she won't show everybody her puppies and her fruitcake on pay-per-view like Armageddon! The judges tossed the WWF Womens Championship at her, as the WWF women suddenly jumped Ivory!
- Ivory was stripped of her shirt by the other half-naked beauties, as the crowd roared, Terri Runnels taking Ivory's top! We actually got a second glimpse of it before Ivory hid under the ring, the WWF women happy with Ivory being stripped! Suddenly, the new WWF Womens Champion grabbed a microphone, telling everybody that she didn't really want the belt, she just wanted to how people how she was Miss Royal Rumble! She tossed the belt down and removed her bra to horrific reactions, but 'Sexual Chocolate' Mark Henry thank god, saved us all!
- An advertisement aired, anticipating us for the next time that World Wrestling Federation programming will hit pay-per-view, and that will be WWF No Way Out, live on pay-per-view on Sunday 27th February 2000, from the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
- We cut to the live arena as the theme of Road Dogg rang into the ring, the WWF Tag Team Champions of D-Generation X making their way out to the Garden, as Road Dogg had a microphone in hand, preparing us for 'one heck of a battle', rapping whilst insulting Bradshaw and Faarooq's intellegence. 'Mr Ass' went to start the introduction in the ring to actual cheers, but the theme of The Acolytes hit, and Bradshaw and Faarooq hit the ring meaning business!
- Match #4: The New Age Outlaws defeated The Acolytes to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships Jack Doan was the official. Another solid match here, as this match was six weeks in the making, the New Age Outlaws seemingly motivated to take on these heavy beerdrinkers, The Acolytes; especially after blindsighting them at the Friendly Tap this past Thursday on SmackDown!. The New Age Outlaws were set on walking into Madison Square Garden the victors and walking out of Madison Square Garden the victors as well. Acolytes gave them a run for their money, though, as Bradshaw easily dominated Billy Gunn, knocking 'Mr Asses' head off with a Clothesline From Hell, as Road Dogg nailed a Pumphandle Drop taking down Faarooq. The odds seemed even, no man seeming to back down as Jack Doan was hesitant to send anybody to the apron; this was a practically texas tornado ruled match up. The Acolytes nailed a Double Powerbomb on Billy though, but Road Dogg suddenly rolled into the ring and rolled Bradshaw up; Faarooq busy preparing for a Dominator on Gunn, Dogg getting the three!
- Road Dogg slid out of the ring as Billy Gunn landed hard on his face after a Dominator from Faarooq! Road Dogg dragged his downed partner out of the ring, as the New Age Outlaws celebrated, the WWF Tag Team Championships in hand, The Acolytes seemed pissed off as hell! Bradshaw seemed extremely ready to pounce.
- A video package aired, preparing us for the huge battle known to us as Triple H vs Mankind. A dramatic video package airs, assembled with Triple H and Mankind, as both men have brawled with one another as far back as 1997, but this summer, their wires crossed once again as Triple H beat Mankind to win the WWF Championship on RAW in August!
- Match #5: Triple H with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley defeated Mankind to retain the WWF Championship in a Street Fight to retire Mankind Earl Hebner was the referee. A brutally physical match here, as Triple H was just ready to kill Mankind, let alone retire him. Triple H was not the only one, though. Mankind was just as brutal, and he came out with lefts and rights, meeting Triple H at ringside, tossing 'The Game' into the steel steps and then using them to put a dent into Triple H's skull. Mankind made Triple H bleed, and he did it a lot, also grabbing a sledgehammer; Triple H's trademark weapon and driving it into the ribs of 'The Game', as Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley looked on in fear. Mankind got 'Foley' chants as everybody wanted him to win this one, for Mankind not to die, for Mankind to live. Triple H eventually regained momentum, just at the right time too, as Mankind prepared a double arm DDT onto thumbtacks, but Triple H gave him a low blow and DDT'd him onto them. Mankind was bleeding too now, as Triple H removed his mask and continued to make Mankind bleed more with lefts and rights, then impaling his forehead with the thumbtacks! Triple H drove the sledgehammer into Mankind's larynx as he was in the corner, also applying a Boston crab in the thumbtacks too! Mankind as a last minute resort went to use the barbwire baseball bat, setting it on fire, but Triple H low-blowed Mankind and slammed him in the face with it, then delivering a Pedigree for the career-ending three count.
- Triple H passed out after his arm was raised in victory by Earl Hebner, as Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley rushed to ringside to help her man up, handing him the WWF Championship. The leader of DX and one-half of the McMahon-Helmsley Saga's main role was helped up the aisleway by Earl Hebner and Stephanie, as Mankind laid in a puddle of blood in the ring. Fans chanted as EMTs rushed to help him up, but Mick Foley, the man behind the mask refused, Foley getting chants everywhere in Madison Square Garden, waving to everybody before limping to the back, escaping from officials' help.
- Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler ran down the Royal Rumble as well as noting the touching ceremony that Mankind got tonight.
- Match #6: Cactus Jack won the 2000 Royal Rumble, last eliminating The Rock and Big Show Chad Patton, Mike Sparks, Jack Doan, Earl Hebner, Mike Chioda, Teddy Long, Tim White and Jim Korderas were the officials. In important sections of the 2000 Royal Rumble, British Bulldog and Edge went head to head first, but as soon as Pete Gas entered, Bulldog turned his attention to immediately tossing Gas out in seconds. Bulldog would repeat this with whomever he was brawling with when Rodney and Joey Abs entered. It seems as though his affiliation with the Mean Street Posse has reached a conclusion. Rikishi Phatu dominated the first half of the Royal Rumble, eliminating six WWF superstars, at one point it came to Too Cool in the ring, Scotty 2 Hotty, Rikishi Phatu and Grandmaster Sexay dancing in the dark before Phatu eliminated the other two! Val Venis' falling apart relationship with Edge continued, as Venis eliminated a fatigued Edge upon entry; but he would pay as Christian eliminated Venis later on. The New Age Outlaws were guaranteed an entry, as was Chris Jericho, both previously unannounced, but The Acolytes rushed into the ring and taking the Outlaws out simultaneously. New WWF European Champion, Crash had trouble with cousin, Hardcore before the man who Crash beat for the belt on SmackDown!, Val Venis tossed him out. Test suffered the wrath of the 'unnamed superstar from Atlanta', the Atlanta-based Superstar was once again escorted by security from Madison Square Garden. Kane immediately eliminated X-Pac upon entry, but in the biggest surprise, Cactus Jack was 28, bandaged up from the beating suffered as Mankind against Triple H, a good forty minutes before. He was bandaged and bloody and bruised, but he fought well, though not much due to fatigue, but he eliminated TAKA Michinoku [TAKA being eliminated in seven seconds!], before walking into the Final Four with The Rock, Kane and Big Show. Kane went first, but in the final moments, Big Show and The Rock were trading blows and a running clothesline took both men out!
- Cactus Jack celebrated, blood rushing down his face, as Mick Foley has outsmarted the world! Cactus Jack got a grand ovation, 'Foley' being chanted repeatedly, and Cactus Jack is going to WrestleMania XVI! Pyrotechnics went off as ticker tape fell from Madison Square Garden's ceiling, tonight wasn't Foley's night for WWF Championship, and it wasn't Mankind's night; but it was Cactus Jack's night! Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler sign off as Big Show and Rock look on in disbelief from ringside; the 2000 Royal Rumble going off the air!

Jeff and Matt's victory is good. Jericho winning - f' yeah. LOL at Mae Young. New Age Outlawz taking that victory was good, didn't wanna see Acolytes win it... at least not yet. Haha, Triple H retiring Mankind is great. I like Mick Foley, but Triple H ridding of him and retaining is good... oh wait- wtf. Didn't think that through, it's just Mankind - now that I see Cactus won the Rumble that puts the puzzle together Good Rumble, DP.

Royal Rumble- Well this is it. I'm looking forward to seeing what ECW superstar you signed. I have a feeling that it's Van Damn, but I don't think so. Maybe Tazz. Good way to hype up HHH/Mankind tonight. Ah, no place like MSG. Good to see the tag team tables match kick the show off. Bring excitement to kick off the show. Even better that it's the first one ever. Shocked to see The Hardys win, with The Dudleys being the masters of the tables. No Terri :( . I like Bubba attacking Hardy even though he was already out. Cool spot to end the match. That's something Jeff Hardy would do, good call there. I hope E&C come into this feud as those where some classic matches they had back in the past. Would be interesting if The Hardys and Teri had the titles. Jericho vs. Chyna. I remember watching those two fight. No uprise that Jericho won, even though Chyna is the 9th wonder of the world. Smart to have two refs for this match, to make sure one person wins the match. I like how Jericho reversed the pedigree into the Walls of Jericho. Typical Rock promo, I could see him winning the match, like he did in real life. I wonder who Kurt Angle's mystery opponent is. TAZZ! It's TAZZ! Hmm, didn't think it would be Tazz. Cool to see Tazz win. I hope they will continue to feud. Good to see that Tazz won with the Tazzmission. I like King being mad that Kurt loss. Could be sued form another organization? Hmm that means this guy could be from a different company? Interesting. And Mae Young won, classic. I like that Ivory wouldn't go through with it. Mae as champ I'm unsure about that though. Haha, Ivory got stripped. Ok that Mae isn't champ, that would have been ugh. Good thinking with the Henry. Good to see The New Age outlaws retain. Cool how Road Dogg got a sneaky way, with Farooq being distracted. Good promo video. Mankind loss. :( . A great hardcore match. It showed how Hardcore Mankind can go, and as well as HHH. It was also good, because all of those Hardcore spots in this match showed how big this feud really was. I like how the thumbtack were used a lot, HHH putting them in Mankinds head must be pretty painful. Good ending, Foley refusing the EMTS help was good. Cactus Jack has one the Rumble!? Well I guess it pays off to have 4 different egos. I like how Rikishi took out the rest of 2 cool like in real life. Interesting that Test was taken out by The Superstar from Atlanta. TAKA being out in 7 seconds is funny. I like how how the match ended, but I like that Cactus took out the real last two men in the match to win. Perfect setup for HHH/Cactus at WM16 or 2000.
Really enjoyed your first PPV in this diary. I noticed that alot of these where based off at what really happened, it's just good because you put your on twist on them.
(If you reply to my diary, wait until I post Raw please)

Royal Rumble Alright Dan, I've been waiting for this! Let's see how you did! We kick it off with our first ever tag team tables match. Matt to go out first made me think Jeff was a goner. Bubba trying to come back in illegally is realistic here and I love the ending with Jeff off the Scaffolding. Funny segment with Cole/Terri/Hardys. Love how she covered herself up when the Hardys came by. Hell yes, Jericho wins the match! Extremely happy to see that Dan! Sounded like a great match between the two and surprising to see the crowd ALMOST split. Excellent write-up. Very similar promo to his actual RR 2000 promo, but just switched out the Headbanger Mosh comment for Pete Gas. Happy you went the same way with the Angle/Tazz match also. Angle gets choked out, still undefeated. Mae Young winning also is funny as it wasn't for the Women's Championship in real life. Throwing down the belt is interesting. Ah, I expected the Outlaws to retain here. Sounded like a solid tag team contest indeed. Wow, I am completely shocked. Mankind is now retired. Sounded like a completely sick match and a great ending. YOU SLY DOG! Cactus Jack winning the Rumble is absolutely brilliant. I liked the important sum up of the Rumble and it seems like we will have an interesting few months before 'Mania. Only complain is that it was a little too much like the actual Rumble 2000.

Cactus wining the Rumble was a great swerve, and IM sure HHH will not be happy after thinking he had rid the WWF of Foley for good. Wonder is Cactus/HHH can hold up as a Mania main event though. It'll be better than a 4-way though. Good to see Taz debut and beat Angle. Hope he gets a solid push in the IC ranks. Nice going so far.

- Their isn’t much to respond to as this is really just like the actual PPV. - I do hope that Tazz gets a mega push as I thought of him as being a legit bad ass despite his small size. Hope for big things. - Not surprised that HHH won the street fight as it makes sense. - Conflicted on the royal rumble match. It is a nice swerve to have Cactus Jack win, but having him win following a sick street fight just doesn’t sit well with me. If this remains the way it is, I hope that you keep it just HHH/Jack and actually have Jack go over at Mania.

-I was at this Royal Rumble live ;D -The Hardys winning the first ever Tables match was the right call, just as it was in real life -Jericho as the Undisputed IC Champ is good, get him away from this feud with Chyna please -Tazz debuting and beating Angle was good, keep pushing Tazz though as a beast -Thank god you didn't actually give Mae Young the Women's Championship -The Outlaws retaining was good as well, hope they drop the belts abefore 'Mania though -Surprised but pleased to see Cactus win the Rumble. The swerve of Cactus winning after Mankind was retired earlier was great
Good show, I also didn't like that it was very similar to the actual 2000 Royal Rumble

-- The Royal Rumble seemed to be a great event, however it did not go without casualties, as Pete Gas injured his arm working out prior to the match itself. This led to British Bulldog's extremely quick elimination of the Mean Street Posse from the Rumble.
-- The 'Superstar From Atlanta' is obviously Chris Benoit. He has signed a contract, in fact he did after walking out on World Championship Wrestling, the WCW World Heavyweight Championship still around his waist. In addition, Eddie Guerrero also reportedly signed a contract.
-- The idea of a competition in the tag team ranks is up in the air, in some sort of league table to rank the number one contenders to the WWF Tag Team Champions. This is not certain yet, however.
-- Tazz of ECW fame debuted at the Royal Rumble, and considering he beat Kurt Angle, it appears as though WWF have plans for him.
-- D-Von Dudley reportedly strained a few muscles when going through the table at the scaffolding area during Tag Team Tables; he is expected to miss two weeks at maximum.
-- The Undertaker will definitely be in the plans for WrestleMania XVI.
-- Speaking of WrestleMania XVI, it has been titled 'WrestleMania 2000' by WWF.com, and a theme song has been announced, 'California' by Ice-T. This coincides to WrestleMania 2000's location at the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, California.
-- There is expected to be roster priority changes from RAW onwards. New stars getting new positions, stronger pushes, or dropping the card.

Monday 24th January 2000 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA; CoreStates Center - A video package aired, recapping last night's Royal Rumble pay-per-view, as Mankind's career was thought to be ended after the dramatic Street Fight for the WWF Championship against Triple H; however it was Cactus Jack who made an appearance in the Royal Rumble, and he threw The Rock and Big Show over the top rope, and now Cactus Jack will be headed for WrestleMania 2000!
- The opening video sequence airs, showing many shots of the old RAW entrance ramp. This is then followed by the opening video package to RAW, then cutting to RAW, live from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, pyrotechnics going off as Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler introduce us to the show and discuss the shocking events that went down twenty-four hours ago at the Royal Rumble!
- "My Time" hits the arena, and as what has previously occured, the WWF Champion limped out to the stage, bandaged and bruised from the previous, seemingly-climatic battle with Mankind in a Street Fight. Triple H was, as he always is, accompanied by his luscious wife, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, as the fans chanted 'bunghole' all the way down to the ring. Triple H grabbed a microphone as the Philly crowd booed. Triple H seemed unconfident as the crowd continued to chant at him, Triple H mentioning slowly that last night, he took a hell of a beating; he bled, he tasted barbwire and he ate thumbtacks. But it seemed all worth it, and the stipulation in which his opponent, Mankind, also known as Mick Foley agreed upon, was that if he had lost, he would have to retire from the World Wrestling Federation. But he lied! 'The Game' mentioned that he was outsmarted, and to be honest, he doesn't really give too much a damn about having a rival at WrestleMania 2000 who has beaten twenty-nine other guys, but Cactus Jack was the man who pissed on his bonfire when he won the Rumble. Triple H mentions that Mick Foley's persona is no longer registered by the WWF, and he cannot be in the company as an active performer any longer! The crowd booed heavily at this, as suddenly, Cactus Jack's theme hit!
- Cactus Jack limped out to the rampway, a bandage on his forehead as Cactus Jack introduced everybody to Mrs Foley's Baby Boy's Childhood Copadre; the most menacing, syniacal psychopath walking God's green Earth! Cactus Jack mentions how his friend, Mankind was broken after last night, in fact that very Mankind is presently lying in a hospital bed because of him. Triple H told Jack to drop the act, because he knows who he is! Triple H tells Jack that his Royal Rumble victory is currently null and void, and why? Because he's not allowed to compete anymore! Suddenly, The Rock's theme hit the arena as The Rock walked out to the arena, Rock being extremely popular with the crowd. He mentions Cactus Jack getting one over on him last night, but it won't happen again. Rock mentions to Triple H that Triple H is the biggest pain in the ass, and will not leave it be! Rock tells Jack that Cactus Jack's win at the Rumble was acceptable, but at very least, he wants to go to the event next month, kick Triple H's teeth down his throat and claim the WWF Championship, and meet Cactus Jack at WrestleMania 2000! The crowd roared, but Triple H said no! Triple H tells Rock that he needs to earn it, and he still has a large weight on his back...Suddenly, Big Show jumped Rock on the rampway! Show shoved Rock down and then traded blows with Cactus Jack before Show headbutts Jack down! Show picks up Jack and tosses him off the stage into the pit, as the crowd boo! Triple H makes Cactus Jack vs Big Show for tonight!
- Commercial Break
- We go to the backstage area as Chyna was shown standing next to The Kat, as Kat seems sorry for Chyna as ice is positioned on her back, Kat mentioning that Chyna hurt her back pretty bad in the Walls of Jericho last night. Suddenly, the Superstar From Atlanta jumped her, shoving Kat away as Kat screamed! The Unknown Wrestler applied a Crossface on Chyna right on the floor, before Chris Jericho came onto the scene and chased him away! Jericho attended to her opponent from the Royal Rumble with Kat.
- We go to the live arena, as the theme of Kurt Angle plays, the Olympic Gold Medalist making his way down to the ring, as he has a microphone in hand whilst walking down the rampway. Angle mentions that last night was not a good time for the Olympic Gold Medalist, as he lost to an outsider. Angle tells them that he remembers saying that he'd face a superstar from the World Wrestling Federation locker room, and he was pretty sure that this thing called 'Tazz' was one of the tri-state area's scum, and not a WWF locker room member!
- Match #1: Edge defeated Kurt Angle Tim White was the referee. This was actually a good match here, as Edge came out without Christian for some reason; Kurt Angle seemingly motivated to get 'another' win for his impressive and 'undisrupted' winning streak, but Edge was on fire tonight. The engaged superstar from the tag team ranks took down Angle numerous times, as Angle soon managed to regain momentum. Angle nailed the Olympic Slam, but orange flashed the arena, '13' appearing on the TitanTron. He turned around to get the Downward Spiral from Edge for three!
- Edge celebrated his victory to cheers, a girl in the audience trying to chase Edge as he headed up the rampway.
- Commercial Break
- Match #2: Too Cool defeated The Holly Cousins Chad Patton was the referee. A pretty decent match here, as Too Cool seemed strong following the Royal Rumble match, despite their big man member, Rikishi Phatu having eliminated both Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay from the Rumble. Hardcore Holly watched on as Crash struggled to battle Scotty, but managed to, Crash seemingly going to isolate Scotty so he could tag in Hardcore, but Grandmaster secretly took the tag, then rolled up Crash moments before he got to Hardcore!
- Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay of Too Cool evacuated the ring, as Hardcore Holly charged into the ring, then clotheslining his Holly Cousin, Crash down! Hardcore left the ring as Too Cool had left.
- We cut to the crowd, as the Superstar From Atlanta was in the building! He wandered through the crowd confusingly, as security didn't seem hesitant to the outsider superstar!
- We go to the interview area as the Hardy Boyz were with Michael Cole. Matt and Jeff are without Terri Runnels, as Jeff mentions that they are now heading for the WWF Tag Team Championships; Matt stating that they are destined for the belts. Suddenly, the Dudley Boyz appear, D-Von and Bubba Ray demanding they give them a rematch next week, and they'll let the winners go to No Way Out to face the New Age Outlaws for the WWF Tag Team Champions!
- A 'Don't Try This At Home' segment aired.
- Match #3: Test defeated Big Bossman by disqualification Jim Korderas was the official. Not so great a match, but really did serve its' purpose. Test seemed confident, as he eyed up the 'Outsider Superstar' in the duration of the bout. Here, he was facing his rival from the previous month or so, Big Bossman, and Bossman seemed ruthless, now alone following a seperation with Prince Albert. Bossman attempted the Bossman Slam at one point, but Test managed to get a foot on the ropes. Test did nail the pumphandle slam, but when going up for the diving elbow drop, the Superstar From Atlanta crotched him on the top!
- The crowd booed as Big Bossman fled from the ring, heading up the rampway; the Superstar From Atlanta giving Test an impressive superplex! The outsider grabbed a microphone and identified himself as 'The Crippler, Chris Benoit'! Benoit talked about how the World Wrestling Federation try to wipe him out, but he's not going to be forgotten. Unsigned to a contract; a practical free agent, he's noticed the WWF, and he wants to impress anybody here, and run 'this place'. Benoit mentions that he has brought friends with them...who they are, only time will tell! Benoit follows up by going up top and delivering a Diving Headbutt to Test!
- Commercial Break
- Going to WWF New York, we have Jonathan Coachman discussing the rowdy audience back at Times Square, Coach talking about how great the Royal Rumble went over with the crowd here. Coach introduces Barbara Bush, and mentions her medical background has led to her becoming an official WWF Diva. Coach refers to the women of the Federation as Divas, then mentioning last night. BB tells Coach that Mae Young vacated the WWF Womens Championship when she threw it down. And according to her understanding, a tournament will allow us to determine a new champion.
- A video package airs, recapping us over the history that former friends, Kane and X-Pac have been through and now they will compete!
- Match #4: Kane defeated X-Pac with Tori by forfeit Mike Sparks was the official. X-Pac and Kane traded blows in this one, Kane seeming extremely tempted to kill and annihilate X-Pac in the ring. X-Pac tried using a hit-and-run strategy; his educated feet coming to a great usage against the 'Big Red Machine'. X-Pac nailed his X-Factor at one point, but Kane sat up! X-Pac then ate a stiff uppercut, causing X-Pac to fall out of the ring! Kane set off his pyrotechnics as referee Mike Sparks ruled the match a forfeit!?
- Tori ran over to X-Pac as he was laid out, Mike Sparks going to attend to X-Pac as well, but the 'Big Red Machine' left the ring, trying to grab X-Pac by the throat, but Sparks held him down! Kane hesitantly left, pointing at Tori before X-Pac sat up and gave Kane the middle finger! Kane kept on walking, unnoticed.
- Commercial Break
- Match #5: Jeff Hardy with Terri Runnels defeated Road Dogg Jack Doan was the referee. A good match here, as Terri Runnels came out looking dirty, seemingly as though she had rushed to get dressed. Jeff Hardy and Road Dogg traded good blows, Jeff using his aerial agility and energy to get ahead of the New Age Outlaw. Billy Gunn was strangely not around. Billy Gunn soon tried to run for the ring, but Matt Hardy met him halfway and both brawled on the rampway, Road Dogg trying a Pumphandle Drop but Jeff escaped and nailed the Twist of Fate for three!
- Jeff Hardy celebratd his victory as Billy Gunn suddenly hit the ring! Billy clocked Jeff upside the head with the WWF Tag Team Championship belt as Matt Hardy remained semi-conscious on the rampway; The Dudley Boyz heading to the ring! Bubba Ray and D-Von traded blows with Gunn and Dogg, getting rid of the New Age Outlaws! Bubba helped one of the Dudleys' rivals from the Royal Rumble, Jeff to his feet, then ploughed him with the 3D! The Duds got an 'ECW' chant.
- The Acolytes were shown from their 'bar' in the locker room area. Bradshaw vowed that the New Age Outlaws haven't gotten away yet.
- Commercial Break
- Match #6: British Bulldog and Al Snow defeated The Mean Street Posse Teddy Long was the referee. A very easy win for British Bulldog and Al Snow, as Al Snow seemed very maniacal in this outing. This was a two-on-three handicap match, and Al seemed to be in paradise, dismantling Rodney as Bulldog took down Joey Abs and Pete Gas. No reason why Bulldog has broken from the Posse, but apparently it was him being a shell of his former self. Bulldog ended it with the Running Powerbomb on Gas.
- British Bulldog celebrated the victory, as Al Snow ran into the ring, clocking Rodney and Joey Abs with Head, but when he went to nail Bulldog with Head, Bulldog ducked it, and he clotheslined Snow down! Bulldog left to an actually decent reaction.
- Commercial Break
- Match #7: Tazz defeated Mosh with Thrasher Mike Chioda was the referee. A very easy win for the man who seems very popular with this crowd, on his first RAW is WAR appearance. Tazz delivered a variety of suplexes to the Headbanger Mosh, as Tazz soon ended it in ninety seconds with the chokehold known as Tazzmission!
- Tazz celebrated his victory, then finding Thrasher running at him; Tazz delivering a Tazzplex to take the other Headbanger out! Thrasher helped Mosh out of the ring as Tazz suddenly turned around to trade blows with Kurt Angle! The two ended up having to be broken up by security!
- We rush to the backstage corridor as Chris Benoit was shown brawling with Chris Jericho, as Y2J was still angry with Benoit for applying a Crossface on Chyna earlier tonight. Suddenly, the WWF Intercontinental Champion was jumped by three other men, a man with a mullet, one with a shaved head and one with short black hair. Benoit stood with the three outsiders as Benoit laughed, the quartet leaving.
- Commercial Break
- Match #8: Cactus Jack fought Big Show to a no-contest Earl Hebner was the official. Not a bad match at all here, as Cactus Jack came out limping, most likely from the brutal stage dive absorbed from Big Show earlier tonight. Big Show seemed aggressive tonight, as Show repeatedly took Cactus Jack and wore him down in a massive bearhug, also just picking away at the carcuss of Jack. Triple H must have had a grin on his face, as the WWF Champion watched on from his office with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. Show soon attempted the Chokeslam, but Jack broke out of it, and the brawl soon transformed and expanded out of the ring. Show and Cactus Jack trading blows as Show lifted up the ringside mat! Show tried to Chokeslam Cactus Jack onto concrete before Jack broke out and nailed the Double Arm DDT onto concrete! Jack took out Hebner with a right hand and that was pretty much it.
- Cactus Jack stood over Big Show as Earl Hebner laid on the floor unconscious, Cactus Jack signalling that he wants Triple H! Triple H then ran down the rampway to brawl with Cactus Jack, Jack tearing the bandaging from Triple H's face, but Triple H gave Jack a low-blow! Triple H delivered a DDT on his WrestleMania 2000 opponent, Triple H then turning around to get taken out by a clothesline from The Rock! Rock stood by Cactus Jack as Triple H backed towards ringside, Rock then turning around to give his own friend the Rock Bottom! Rock stood tall as Triple H seemed intimidated, RAW going off the air!
Quick Results Cactus Jack vs Big Show Tazz def. Mosh British Bulldog, Al Snow def. Pete Gas, Rodney, Joey Abs Jeff Hardy def. Road Dogg Kane def. X-Pac by Forfeit Test def. Big Bossman by DQ Grandmaster Sexay, Scotty 2 Hotty def. Crash Holly, Hardcore Holly Edge def. Kurt Angle

Great opening segment. Edge and Angle kicking off is nice, glad Edge won. Too Cool over The Holly's is good. Benoit coming in is cool. Interesting ending to Kane/Pac. Hardy over RD, heh. Could of gone either way. Bulldog and Snow winning is alright. Tazz winning is fairly obvious. Main event going to a no contest was interesting. Surprised Rock got involved.
Anywho, good Raw DP.

Adding the Rock to the HHH/Cactus feud makes it a little more fresh. Hope Angle and tazz have an extended feud. Cool to see Benoit in the company? The Radicalz coming soon?

- Jack/Show seems like a good main event for RAW. - Wow, very surprised to see Angle losing to Edge. I think Angle needs to be winning again. - Fine tag team match with Too Cool going over. - Odd finish to Kane/Pac. I really hope that Kane moves on from Pac as the angle seems to be wearing thin. - Fine win for Jeff Hardy over Road Dogg. - The next two matches do not seem like RAW matches. Actually, they seemed rather horrible to me. - glad to see the Rock involved with the Jack/HHH feud. Things should be getting interesting now.

Thursday 27th January 2000 Baltimore, Maryland, USA; Baltimore Arena - Exactly a month away from No Way Out!
- The opening video package to all World Wrestling Federation programming airs, showing shots of the old RAW is WAR stage to pyrotechnics. From there, we skip the opening video recapping RAW is WAR, and cut to the opening SmackDown! video. From here, we go to the live arena where pyrotechnics go off. Michael Cole and Jerry "King" Lawler introduce us to SmackDown!, as they recap RAW from Monday night. They promote Triple H, Cactus Jack and Big Show all being scheduled to appear tonight.
- We go to the arena, as the theme of Road Dogg hits, the New Age Outlaws making their way out to the arena to boos, but the Baltimore crowd love Billy Gunn and Road Dogg too much to boo them. The Outlaws get into the ring as they discuss last Sunday at No Way Out, beating The Acolytes fair and square, but now having to fight them once again tonight! Gunn goes to talk trash, but the Acolytes theme hits, and Bradshaw and Faarooq waste no time!
- Match #1: The New Age Outlaws defeated The Acolytes to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships Jimmy Korderas was the referee. Not a bad match here, but it was not as good as their Royal Rumble encounter, this past Sunday. The Acolytes seemed more aggressive, and thus, more enthusiastic to defeat the annoyances known as The New Age Outlaws to take the WWF Tag Team Championships home. Bradshaw hammered at Billy Gunn before Road Dogg got in a cheap shot with the microphone behind Korderas back, and the Outlaws worked Bradshaw. Faarooq got the tag, as he went to hit a Dominator on Gunn; Dogg chopblocked Faarooq and the Fame-Asser ended it!
- We cut to the parking lot, and Triple H is shown pulling up in a limousine, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley getting out and heading for the arena; the McMahon-Helmsleys do not look in a good mood!
- Commercial Break
- We go to the Baltimore Arena as 'My Time' bursts into the arena, the crowd booing loudly as 'The Game' stepped out to the arena, with a less intense appearance, a bandage still on his forehead though. Triple H walks down to the ring with an angry look on his face, the WWF Championship dangling from his hand as Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley followed in persuit. Triple H got into the ring and snatched the microphone away from Tony Chimel, Triple H mentioning that things seem to be heating up with the guys in the back all thinking they deserve a WWF Championship opportunity at once! Triple H tells the audience that things go his and Steph's way, not the WWF superstars, or the fans' way! Triple H mentions that Cactus Jack may have won the Royal Rumble, but he is still not contracted. The Rock will find himself in a tough place tonight, because he's decided as of right now that tonight; Rock will go one-on-one with Kane! Triple H then mentions Big Show being up his ass, wanting in on the gold too, but he will know what he has messed with, because tonight, he will have to put down all three members of Too Cool! Triple H storms off, back up the rampway as Triple H is once again leaving Stephanie behind; he is not happy!
- An advertisement airs, promoting Stone Cold Steve Austin's first appearance on WWF television since November after being sidelined by a neck injury. It hypes up WWF Halftime HeAT, a special edition of Sunday Night HeAT, on USA Network.
- Commercial Break
- We go to Crash Holly backstage as he is shining his weightlifting machine, Hardcore Holly coming in and slapping him in the back of the head! Crash asks what that was for, Hardcore motivating him for tonight's tag team match with Kai En Tai!
- Match #2: Edge and Christian defeated The Dudley Boyz by disqualification Mike Chioda was the referee. Edge and Christian were out to avenge the attack made by the Dudley Boyz on the Hardy Boyz this past Monday night on RAW, and Edge was beaming with momentum, soon after defeating Kurt Angle in the Olympian's real first-ever WWF loss. The blondes were on a roll early on, but D-Von and Bubba Ray managed to fire back, using an arsenal of double-team moves to put Christian down. Edge soon got the tag though, as he fired back. However, D-Von just randomly turned around and nailed Edge with a steel chair!
- Edge collapsed to the canvas as D-Von Dudley nailed Christian with the chair, Bubba Ray Dudley getting up and yelling for D-Von to get the tables, the two Dudley Boyz setting the table up, but the Hardy Boyz ran down the rampway! Jeff and Matt traded blows as Terri Runnels watched from ringside, the Dudleys retreating! The Hardys helped Edge and Christian to their feet, Edge and Christian acting reluctant to their supposed friends.
- Commercial Break
- We go to the backstage area as Chris Jericho was shown standing by Chyna's locker room, The Kat stood by him, as Y2J mentions that he can't believe that those outsider geeks had to come in and harm Chyna! Kat seems sad, as Jericho goes to comfort her, but Kat comedically pushes him back. The WWF Intercontinental Champion promises to find out who else attacked him on RAW, tonight.
- Match #3: Chris Jericho defeated British Bulldog with Al Snow to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship Mike Sparks was the official. Not a bad defense here, as this bout was extremely old-school and featured a nice hybrid of powerhousing moves and some aerial agility filled in the gaps. British Bulldog and Al Snow have a unique new bond together, as Al was at ringside, trying to ruin the WWF Intercontinental Champion's concentration, but Y2J overcame the odds, taking Snow off the apron with a springboard dropkick and then slipping out of the Running Powerbomb, getting the victory roll for three!
- Chris Jericho celebrated the victory in a wild manner, Al Snow trying to nail Y2J with Head only for the WWF Intercontinental Champion to duck, then tossing Snow out of the ring, British Bulldog retreated! Y2J grabbed his WWF Intercontinental Championship and a microphone, as he screeched, telling everybody that he was on a roll, and he's looking for the outsider geeks who jumped him on Monday! Y2J was suddenly met with Chris Benoit on the OvalTron, as Benoit tells Jericho that he will meet them...in fact, he will meet them just like he did on Monday...now! Suddenly, the three other superstars hit the ring, stomping at Jericho! Benoit appeared on the rampway as the three superstars grinned, Benoit introducing us to Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero; mentioning that all three of them were from a rival promotion, but they've signed contracts, and they're here to take over!
- Commercial Break
- An exterior shot of the Baltimore Arena was shown, as they hype up Big Show facing all three members of Too Cool up next, then showing us the sponsors for SmackDown!
- Match #4: Big Show defeated Too Cool Chad Patton was the referee. Actually pretty competitive, was this one. Big Show wasn't expecting it, as he easily swiped Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay out of the ring with a series of body slams and rag-doll like sidewalk slams. Big Show walked into a literal wall though, as he went to go up against Rikishi Phatu, finding it hard to power Phatu around. Rikishi actually took Show down a few times, his headbtts playing an effective part of his arsenal. Show eventually took Phatu down with a body slam, Show grabbing Sexay and Scotty by the throat and hitting a double Chokeslam! Show put a foot on Scotty for the three!
- Big Show celebrated his victory until Rikishi Phatu came running into the ring, Phatu's size actually scaring Show out of the ring! Show stood on the rampway, slightly angered as Phatu helped up his Too Cool copradres, Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay.
- We go to WWF New York as Linda McMahon was shown, to a surprise. We briefly cut to Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley in the McMahon-Helmsley office, looking concerned as Linda told the fans that the time of the McMahon-Helmsley was growing, and her husband's return is nearing. Linda warns Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley of his return to cheers.
- Commercial Break
- We go to Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley's office, as Triple H was rushing back and force, demanding that if Linda wants to play mindgames, then she can have Vince McMahon himself show up anytime now, because all of these appearances at WWF New York are only exposing him as a complete p*ssy! Triple H picks up a sledgehammer and just simply slams it into the television, as he storms away, Steph still upset.
- Match #5: The Godfather with Hos defeated Big Bossman to retain the WWF Hardcore Championship Tim White was the referee. Not too good a match here, but Big Bossman, after picking up the win against Test on RAW this past Monday was out to follow up with winning back the WWF Hardcore Championship he previously lost to The Godfather earlier this month. Godfather and Bossman traded blows with various weapons such as mops and trash cans, Bossman using his signature nightstick to beat down Godfather, however Prince Albert ran to the ring! Godfather took Albert out as the two traded blows; D-Lo Brown making the save in pimp attire! Godfather nailed the Pimp Drop on Bossman soonafter.
- The Godfather celebrates his victory by inviting the Hos into the ring, D-Lo Brown joining in; Prince Albert and Big Bossman continued brawling at ringside!
- We go to Jonathan Coachman, and we will here from The Rock, next!
- Commercial Break
- We go to the backstage area as Jonathan Coachman is standing by with The Rock as the Coach asks Rock about the current situation with Triple H, Rock then asking why Coach is asking this, thinking that The Rock is in actual fact deaf. Rock runs down Big Show as a big, cereal-eating madman; calls Cactus Jack the homicidal maniac; and describing Triple H by one word: 'bunghole'! Rock continues to tell the fans that tonight, they will see the 'Big Red intellectually- disabled person' go down for definite. He finishes off with his patented catchphrase.
- Match #6: Tazz defeated Rodney with Pete Gas and Joey Abs Jack Doan was the official. This was started earlier tonight as the Mean Street Posse were provoking Tazz in a segment, making fun of the 'Human Suplexing Machine's size. Tazz easily overcame the odds in comedic fashion, delivering a Tazzplex to Pete Gas and a T-Bone suplex to Joey Abs, then finishing off with the Tazzmission to Rodney, Rodney being choked out!
- Tazz celebrates his victory dominant, Tazz now with two wins under his belt, Rodney remaining unconscious as Pete Gas and Joey Abs of the Mean Street Posse remain out on the outside.
- Commercial Break
- Cactus Jack was shown standing by with Kevin Kelly, as Kelly asks Cactus why he's so possessed with the WWF Championship. Cactus tells him that he's not entirely possessed with the WWF Championship, but also Triple H, and the right to go to the main event of WrestleMania 2000. Cactus continues, telling Kelly that what he wants to do is to walk into 'Mania as WWF Champion, and he plans to do so. Cactus Jack mentions that he wants to cash in his WWF Championship shot at No Way Out, against Triple H! Cactus grins as Kelly is shocked.
- Match #7: The Holly Cousins defeated Kai En Tai Teddy Long was the referee. Not too important of a match here, rather the Holly Cousins and Kai En Tai were really just here for time filler. Hardcore seemed motivated as Crash still seemed naive and dazed, and confused. TAKA Michinoku still also seemed greatly prepared; utilizing a beautiful Asai Moonsault to the outside on the Hollys at one point. Crash almost got pinned with a hurricanrana by Funaki, but when Crash kicked out, Funaki flew into Hardcore, who nailed the Falcon Arrow for the win.
- Crash Holly celebrated as Hardcore didn't seem happy, Hardcore slapping him in the head! The Holly Cousins leaving.
- A graphic appears, hyping The Rock against Kane, and it is up next!
- Commercial Break
- Match #8: The Rock defeated Kane Earl Hebner was the referee. The Rock and Kane traded blows like true enemies tonight, as the 'Big Red Machine' graded blows with 'The Great One', a future opportunity at the WWF Championship at stake in this one. Rock seemed motivated to take down Kane, but Kane just wouldn't let go, repeatedly getting back up and robotically continuing to take down Rock, working at his ribs, he even nailed a Chokeslam but Rock got a foot on the ropes. Big Show came to ringside to distract Rock, but Cactus Jack then ran down, a brawl ensuing between Jack and Show! Kane nailed the Tombstone Piledriver on Rock, but the annoying fly, X-Pac got on the apron from the crowd! Kane swung, missed, and Rock nailed the Rock Bottom for the win!
- The Rock celebrated, but not for long as Big Show came from behind, delivering a Chokeslam to Rock! Kane got back up and traded blows with Show, Cactus Jack and Rock then taking down Kane and Show! That's when WWF Champion, Triple H appeared on the rampway; Rock and Cactus Jack stood in a staredown, Hunter in between them, SmackDown! going off the air!
Quick Results The Rock def. Kane Hardcore Holly, Crash Holly def. Funaki, TAKA Michinoku Tazz def. Rodney The Godfather def. Big Bossman to retain the WWF Hardcore title Big Show def. Saturday 22nd January 2000 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA; CoreStates Center - Another edition of Jakked/Metal. This show was taped on Monday 24th January 2000, and before RAW is WAR, but before Jakked/Metal began, Randy Orton defeated Ron Waterman in a dark match presented by Ohio Valley Wrestling.
- The opening WWF Attitude signature aired, showing numerous shots of the old RAW is WAR stage before cutting to the opening video package of Jakked/Metal. We cut to the live arena following this, as Kevin Kelly and Michael Cole introduced us to the show, and hyped up tonight's card, scheduled to be main evented by Rikishi Phatu going up against Viscera.
- Match #1: Christian defeated Gangrel with Luna Vachon Mike Sparks was the referee. A decent way to kick things off, as Christian was the former protegé of Gangrel, back in late 1998 alongside brother, Edge. Christian seemed to have a lot of momentum in the bout, but Gangrel still managed to out Christian at times, firing back and even attempting the Impaler DDT, but Christian reversed it, and nailed the Unprettier for the win.
- Christian celebrated his victory as Luna Vachon attended to Gangrel.
- A replay of Triple H's promo from RAW aired.
- Commercial Break
- A replay of Kane and X-Pac's match from RAW was shown.
- Match #2: The Godfather, D-Lo Brown, Essa Rios and Stevie Richards with Hos defeated Mideon, Prince Albert and Kai En Tai Jack Doan was the official. This match was exclusive to the United States version, airing on Jakked. Actually a smooth match here, as it combined power with speed, and a lot of skill was shown in this match. The Godfather and Mideon had beef, but as did Prince Albert with the WWF Hardcore Champion. Meanwhile, Essa was on route to getting a WWF Light Heavyweight Championship opportunity at Gillberg, but still had to win some matches first. Godfather and D-Lo brawled with Albert and Mideon, as Essa nailed the Moonsault on Funaki for the win.
- The Godfather, D-Lo Brown, Essa Rios and Stevie Richards all danced in the ring with the hos as Mideon and Prince Albert backed up the rampway. At this point, a graphic appeared, hyping Gillberg's defense of the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship against Essa Rios, for Halftime HeAT the next day.
- A replay of Jeff Hardy against Road Dogg on RAW was shown.
- Commercial Break
- A replay of Test and Big Bossman's match from RAW aired, alongside Chris Jericho being attacked by Chris Benoit and company.
- Match #3: Mark Henry and Jacqueline with Mae Young defeated Steve Blackman and Ivory Chad Patton was the referee. This match was exclusive to the United Kingdom airing of WWF Metal. Not too bad a match up here, as the tournament to crown a new WWF Womens Champion begins on RAW this Monday. Mae Young seemed jealous as the Sexual Chocolate team, Mark Henry and Jacqueline competed with the vanilla pair of Steve Blackman and Ivory. Ivory attempted to take down Jacqueline with a running facebuster, but Mark Henry got involved, bodyslamming Ivory, and Jacqueline followed with a tornado DDT for the win.
- Mark Henry celebrated with Jacqueline, as Mae Young, the former and unofficial WWF Womens Champion got in the ring, slapping 'Sexual Chocolate' as she stormed off!
- A replay of Cactus Jack and Big Show from RAW was shown.
- Commercial Break
- The WWF Slam of the Week aired, reviewing Rikishi Phatu's somewhat success in the Royal Rumble.
- Match #4: Viscera defeated Rikishi Phatu Teddy Long was the referee. Not too mixing, were the chemicals here, as Rikishi Phatu and Viscera brawled in the ring, the two over three-hundred pounders just slugging it out, as the crowd cheered Rikishi on. Viscera managed to fire back, however, as Rikishi began to get beaten up by the dark Viscera. Rikishi soon attempted the Banzai Drop, but Crash Holly came to ringside. Phatu rid of Crash, but Viscera nailed the Sidewalk Slam for the win.
- Viscera celebrated to boos, as WWF Jakked went off the air.
Quick Results Viscera def. Rikishi Phatu Jacqueline, Mark Henry def. Ivory, Steve Blackman Essa Rios, Stevie Richards, The Godfather, D-Lo Brown def. Funaki, TAKA Michinoku, Prince Albert, Mideon Christian def. Gangrel

Raw:
- Great opening. Show v Cactus should be great! - Benoit attacks Chyna. A Jericho/Benoit feud would be gold. - Tazz v Angle should be a good feud. - Edge beats Angle?! Good that it was off a distraction though. - Too Cool winning is cool with me. Holly turns on Crash? Interesting. - Benoit in the crowd? Hmm. - Dudleys v Hardys should be a good one. Either team winning would be great. - I expected Benoit to attack Test. I see a match between the two at NWO. Radicalz with him maybe? - Glad Mae vacated it. Tourny should be good. - Kane over Pac is great. Like the aftermath. - Jeff beating RD is okay. Aftermath builds next weeks match nicely. - BB and Snow winning is good. Glad that there is some sort of explanation for the split. Aftermath is good for BB - Tazz ftw! Angle v Tazz will be great. - Yup, he brought the Radicalz with him. Should be a good feud between him and Y2J - Great main event and aftermath. I expect those four will be involved in WM2000 in a big way.
SD:
- NAO beating APA is good. I see NAO losing at NWO though. - Triple H has arrived, he'll make an impact for sure. - Some good matches made. I expect Rock and Show will win though. - Stone Cold return soon C: - Holly's have made up? - E+C winning by DQ is fine. Hardys making the save makes sense. - Jericho winning is great. Glad you've named the Outsiders now. - Show victory was expected. - Triple H on edge is great. - Godfather winning is good. Reuniting him and D'lo? - Rock promo is great. Love it. - Tazz winning is excellent. I love the way he's just kicking ass - Cashing in at NWO?! Awesome!! - Meh not fussed about the HC KET match. - Rock gets a future title match?
