It would be absoultely ludacris to think that TNA even got close to WWE in the ratings.

We did. Neither show lived up to it's hype, but we had a choice for the first time in a decade, and it was an enjoyable experience.

I think WWE gave us more than TNA did in terms of an actual show

TNA BY FAR! I mean WWE knew it was a battle one tonight and they brought nuttin to the table.I mean their wwe champ again in a sorry match with a jobber.LAME LAME skits with dx and that midget. Most of their show was nothing but talk.TNA did bad in the open making it end in a DQ but Jeff Hardy showing up was huge. Also ric flair but the knockouts match was fantastic just as the tagteam match was.Plus Sting was back but I'm a Sting mark

I watched both and I love both companies but I'm divided. TNA had a fantastic wrestling main event in AJ/Angle, miles ahead of Kofi/Orton and most of Raw. If the rest of the show had been what the last 30 minutes were, I'd say TNA could have edged it out. The first 2.5 hours were not too great. They promised a bunch of matches and never delivered on them.
However, the return of Bret Hart can not be topped for me. All his segments were incredible, especially the opening one with HBK. My dad and I both were on the edge of our seats, and he hasn't wanted to watch wrestling since 2000. Just fantastic promo's by The Hitman. However, the rest of Raw was lackluster.
All in all, I'd say it was a tie. Each had their moments, that's for sure. Ratings wise, WWE will probably win. They'll be in the 3.7+ range and TNA will probably be around 1.5

WWE def won. You had Bret and Michaels in the first hour and in the second Bret and Vince. I think more people veiwed WWE's second hour especailly since they hyped Vince/Bret.

TNA was a lot better for me.
Bret Hart is my favorite wrestler of all time, and I was hoping for this day to come. I heard his music, and was like, wait, is it the Hart Dynasty? It wasn't, Bret got a new theme, well, that's cool, and that wouldn't change my feelings, though I would have prefered his old theme. Now, I was so excited, but that crowd... That crowd killed it for me. I hated that crowd. I know Bret wasn't going to get a reaction like in 2005, but I expected a lot more cheers. The segments were good, and I thought Legacy was going to break up today, but you know, TNA's first hour was amazing in terms of surprises. I loved AJ Styles vs Kurt Angle. I think it was a lot better than all the matches on RAW tonight.
So in the ratings, RAW will win, but for me, as a fan, TNA won by far.

TNA, i couldn't care less about bret hart. Aleast 90% of people who debut in TNA today can wrestle and would but on some shti fest when they fight like Hart will and that's even if he dose wrestle. But Hart and Vince has history so whatever happens will be good, Ha give me a break.

I voted WWE cuz I'm devoted WWE fan.....but both shows were really good, and TNA is clearly rising.

I don't really think either show was that good. I liked the main event of tna and the tag match {I missed the entire 1st hour so that kinda isn't fair..}.
Raw was okay with Bret but the matches were not that great either.
So since I am conflicted I will vote for which one will for sure win the ratings and that is wwe.

F*cking seriously?! There is no war! Next week TNA goes back to Thursday night, pre-taped, and WWE goes back to Monday, live. It's not a war. It was a battle. In order to have this be "night one", there would need to be a "night two", which, for the forseeable future, will NOT happen.
Jeez.
