News conference this afternoon to announce Beckett's extenstion. Now they just gotta take care of V-Mart.
Also listening to WEEI today has made me want to throw up. some of the most idiotic calls ever. It's the first game of course the pitching isn't going to be in midseason form. You'd think after years of opening days they'd be used to it.

Well, the 18th consecutive losing season begins today, so exciting. Did you catch the news earlier? One of the players (I honestly don't remember who) said that they are going to win the World Series this year. I mean, sure. I would love to see them win it all this year, it would be an incredible story. However, with that being said...if they do go anywhere near or above .500, I would be happy.

In MLB 10 The Show, is there any way for me to get it to play the YES Network theme in between EVERY INNING, or am I only allowed to choose the theme between 3 different innings?
Because right now I have it play the YES theme in the middle of the 3rd and 5th, and then it plays God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch.

Wow LaRoche. Wow... That wasn't even a bad pitch by Duke or a good hit by Kemp. That was just a 3rd baseman fail. EDIT: In other news, GARRET ING JONES! Out of the park, 2 run homer. WOO!

Roy Halladay is already a bust, good luck Philly! Cliff Lee would never have given up a run to the Nationals....

Roy Halladay is already a bust, good luck Philly! They should cut him now while they still can. Obama threw out the first pitch. I blame him. This never would've happened under a McCain administration.

Taking my girl to a Reds game on Wednesday, she is a huge fan, and I hate the Cardinals so its gonna be a fun night.
The best thing? Since I'm taking her to this she has decided to take us up to Cleveland when the Red Sox come into town so I can finally see a Sox game in person.
