I love how people are always trying to make an excuse for TNA. Oh the ratings will go up in the next few weeks. Its gonna be tough but it will happen. Yea keep drinking that Kool Aid. Oh wait, I forgot they had to go head to head against Thursday Night Football, CSI, World Series, 700 Club, debut of Taylor Swift new video.....always SOMETHING to take those darn viewers away . Now we're going where wrestling just isnt popular. Partly correct. Yet Raw still pulls 3 TIMES THE RATINGS OF TNA.....3 TIMES....3 TIMES....3 TIMES. Its ok though. TNA knows what it's doing. As soon as those Suzanne Somers ThighMaster infomercials get taken off the air, the sky is the LIMIT for TNA!!!!! WOOOOOOOOO Yes, because TNA fans are the only ones who point out competition. There has never been a time in the history of WrestlingFigs that a WWE fan made an excuse for WWE's ratings. Never! It's just TNA fans. I am sure other TNA fans along with myself love all the attention because we are the only ones who "do wrong" on here. It's not the WWE fans who make excuses for a lower rating, they never do that! They never make an excuse of Monday Night Football. Let's be fair here, if you want to call us TNA fans out for making "excuses" for TNA's ratings, then you need to look in the WWE board because they do the same thing. I'm not sure if people just don't like anything that is TNA related, but, to "corner" TNA fans on this forum and pretty much say that we are the only fans who make "excuses" for ratings is stupid and hypocritical. Also, never once did I use the ratings of other shows as an excuse, what I did was point out the shows they went up against and what those shows got, I simply stated that it was "pretty good" considering the shows that went up against... where does this sound familiar from? Oh wait a minute... RAW rating thread from this past week: Pretty good, considering they had the Cowboys and the #1 Media Market's team, the New York Giants on MNF in a tight one. I'm guessing the viewers stayed longer/tuned in more than usual to see what the fallout to Bragging Rights was, as well. I couldn't agree more, definitely a good rating considering what teams faced off on MNF. Hey, if you want to complain about us making "excuses", then, call WWE fans out on it. It's not that hard to do. Don't call our bullcrap, if you aren't going to call WWE fan's bullcrap.

See now I'm questioning your IQ because you clearly don't read posts. You only see what you want to see.
1) See your being a hypocrite and making excuses for Swagger. He was the world champ but could never win a single match as champ and the WWE has had him jobbing ever since. You say that the WWE constantly pushes guys for a purpose, but Swagger's push had no purpose what so ever. If you stopped contradicking what you say you'd be taken more seriously. But here is how both he and AJ are doing now...
Swagger is jobbing. He's been jobbing ever since he lost the title to Rey. I can't tell you how many times Swagger lost to Rey and MVP. Aj and Swagger have both been depushed since both had the World title, but AJ currently has a title and has been winning matches. Swagger has not. AJ gets a decent amount of TV time each week and is featured as Ric Flair's protegee. Swagger does not. Who do you think is in the better spot right now? Funny though that that claim the TV title should be defended every week when the WWE barely ever features the IC and US titles anymore. Don't take a crap on one company when the company your defending is no better.
2) It's funny reading that you think you have all the answers of how to book a wrestling company, yet your on an internet fan site an not writing for a company. Yes, TNA could be booked better, but so could the WWE. But acting like you have all the answers is funny because you'd be writing for one of the companies yet your not. TNA was putting on 5-star matches on Impact a year ago and decent storylines, but it wasn't working. Do I like the new Hogan-Bischoff storyline, no. But again, TNA is trying something different to stand out. But if TNA isn't simple enough for you, stick to watching the PG-WWE. You can watch DX go to "Little Peoples Court."
3) Lets look at the young guys the WWE are pushing right now. First Nexus. Besides for Barrett, how has any of the other members been made to look good. There all bland characters who I can guartuntee will all be gone from the WWE in a year besides for Barrett. Once Nexus is done, Barrett will be the only one to benefit from it. Second, the Miz. Story is he is an average wrestler at best(has never put on a 5-star match, let alone a 4-star match) but sucks up to Vince and gets a MITB win and then proceedes to loose to Daniel Bryan week after week. Third, Daniel Bryan. Now I'll say I like this guy and the WWE is doing a pretty good job pushing him.
Now lets look at the young stars TNA is pushing. First, Mr. Anderson. He actually debuted in the WWE after the Miz so he does count in this. In the WWE he was regarded as a future world champ but injuried derailed his pushes. Now in TNA he is the top face being pushed towards the World Title. Is a good wrestler who has put on a few 5-star matches. Second, The Pope. He is another guy who debuted in the WWE after Miz so he also counts. At the begining of the year he got a huge push and even main evented a PPV w/ AJ. He gets hurt right after it, but unlike Kofi, when he returned he was able to keep his stop and reamain a top guy. Currently being pushed as the one to stop Fortune.
TNA is by no means perfect. It's far from it. But to act like the WWE is 10x better than it couldn't be further from the truth. How is it making excuses for TNA when people say that TNA is still a new company while the WWE has been around forever. It is a fact, not an excuse. Look up the differances. Wrestling is in a down period, and again the fact that TNA has been able to stay around and build itself as the #2 wrestling company is amazing. Funny though that WWE fans say TNA fans make excuses when WWE fans come up w/ all sorts of excuses as to why the WWE went from the 5.0-6.0 range 10 years ago to now barely doing 3.5. The WWE is far from perfect. Atleast TNA isn't sending their guys to "Little Peoples Court" on christmas or having a midget win their titles.

Football will always take away from wrestling viewership however that is the ONLY thing WWE or their fans say. TNA uses excuses after excuses. I mean seriously you never hear WWE or their fans say "Well the ratings were low cause there was a new episode of CSI on." That isnt their demographic yet TNA fans will always find some show as to the reason why their show doesnt get ratings. Simply put, TNA has a core group of fans. Those fans DO NOT equal that of WWE fans and TNA has done and will do NOTHING to improve their ratings. Its clear cut and simple because TNAs ratings NEVER improve by a great margin.

The US and IC title have been on a PPV, Raw, and Smackdown this whole week. And has been some of the best wrestling in recent memory in WWE. But I wouldn't expect you to understand what an actual wrestling match looks like since the show you love barely features any wrestling. 2. Yea, I never said I had all the answers but, watching wrestling for 20+ years, I think I know what i like and don't like. It's apparent by TNA's constant ratings drops that other fans know what they want too. But hey, why listen to the fans? What do they know? they only are the reason a company makes money 3. You dont understand a push yet, so you can't really argue this point now can ya trixie Oh yes, Anderson is getting a great push and so is Pope lmfao! And OH BOY!!!! They're the #2 wrestling company!!!! THERE"S ONLY 2 FREAKIN WRESTLING COMPANIES ON WORLDWIDE TV!!!!!! And why is it that TNA fans always wanna drag WWE into this? No wonder WWE fans always bash TNA over here. You guys wimper and whine and point fingers without taking any responsibility, just like TNA itself. This is what I got from our converstation thus far: "blah blah blah, swagger, blah blah blah, depushed, blah blah blah, I don't wanna hear what anyone else has to say, blah blah blah, pulling shyt outta my ass, blah blah blah, I'm repeating myself becasue I don't have a valid point or can;t logically make one without getting my personal feelings involved, blah blah blah" That's what I got outta that, lol. You're not correct and you're not worth my time anymore. Come back and play when you have something other than the same crap ;D
