I will be collecting the entire line. As of now I only have HBK and Rock but can easily obtain both Savage and Warrior. I love the HHH offering as I am an Attitude Era fan and Steamboat just looks rockn'. Austin and Taker are sure fire purchases (Attitude Era, what can I say haha). Do we have any Series 5 rumors? Id love to see some current ones too.
Current versions would sell better at mass retail in my opinion. Edge from Armageddon 06, Punk from Raw June 9 09 title win, etc. I am surprised we havent had a Rey yet but I am sure it will come as that would be a attractive point for the kiddos.
All in all I think the DM would work better as a subscription on Matty Collector like MOTU and Ghostbusters because it isnt doing justice at mass retail from the looks of it. Id get a WWE Legends/DM sub in a heartbeat.

I got both Macho and Shawn(Both are really fricken good) and from what've i've seen little to any DM's left with the exception with maybe 2 machomans. Either the stores around here haven't bought many from that series or there hot over here.

Really, I can never find any of them around here. the EG figures were the ones that took up space, Piper, and Trips were Shelf Warmers. but the others i never seen. Give it time. i would keep them at the same price point, i would just limit how much gets ordered. there is no reasoin for a store to order five boxes of DM. it should be two, and they have to wait until the others sell out before reordering them. There are waaaay too many other superstars that i can think of, that would be great as DM. The only ones I have seen are HHH, Rey and HBK. Rey was the warmer here, with HHH running right behind him. I have never seen Piper, Jericho, Rock or M$M. I love the EG line but I prefer DM. This is why I think WWE should have a presence on Matty Collector

I Got 2 DM Macho Man Figs, 1 Warrior and Steamboat and im heavily on the Fence for DM4 Undertaker and possibly another warrior. For me its not the price at all, im just an Old School Legends collector, And DM1 HBK, 2 Rock, 3 Trip H, 4 Austin prob are not gonna be part of my collection regardless how good they are. altho i have contemplated Rock and Austin.

I'm also an old school legends collector, so DM1 Savage, Warrior, and DM3 Steamboat were no-brainers to own.
I haven't bought the others because I'm not an attitude era fan, and I'm content with L3 Rock, L1 Austin, and BO2010 Trips (w/Basic 10 head scan).
More interested in Rockers Shawn Michaels than any attitude HBK.

I have The Rock and Macho Man. Of each series, at least one figure interests me. Series 1: Savage Series 2: Rock. Series 3: HHH. Series 4: SCSA
Idk if I would continue to buy the line once they do a bunch of crappy wrestlers (like most of the legends series) but any time they want to do The Rock again or some really cool form of SCSA or Triple H, hell even Y2J, I'll be there

Really how long do you see it lasting anyhow? Its exp. but granted the money doesnt concern me, but how many legends appeal to the masses at that price point? Savage, Andre, HBK, Undertaker, Hogan, Flair, Rock, Austin, Y2J, Trip H, Warrior, Bret, Kane
If they space the series out it should be ok, if they go too fast there will be guys used in dm 2 or 3 times, or we'll end up with risky choices that might not sell well

I still think a subscription or a Matty Collector exclusive is the best avenue for the Defining Moments line. It can work just how the Ghostbusters are released... every two months they have a figure released, six figures for the year, which is roughly their release plan as of now, except two figures every so often to make six for the year. It can begin in 2012, and there are countless options for it.
January 2012: Defining Moments Rey Mysterio (Wrestlemania 27 Captain America)
March 2012: Defining Moments Kane (Bad Blood 97 First Appearance Outfit)
May 2012: Defining Moments Chris Jericho (2007 Return)
July 2012: Defining Moments Bret Hart (Wrestlemania 13)
September 20112: Defining Moments Mick Foley/Catcus Jack (Royal Rumble Street Fight vs HHH)
December 2012: Defining Moments Kurt Angle (Wrestlemania 20) with Undisputed Title Belt
I know the last two aren't too possible due to TNA but its a wish list/quick example.

all this talk about dm , i just ordered dm4 undertaker i really dont see why mattel would want to take dm out of mass retail to only put on matty excl.com . rey capn american probably wont be made and debut kane wont have enough accessories to be a dm, not to mention he would sell incredibly well in legends,
