21:00-21:02: A replay of what happened last night at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view aired, as it showcased CM Punk taking on John Cena in the "Straight Edge Messiah"s final match before leaving the company, Punk previously stating motivation to taking the WWE Championship on his way out. Mr McMahon and John Laurinaitis came down to ringside, trying to screw Punk out of the title in his hometown, but Cena took Laurinaitis out, and ran into the GTS. Punk was the champ, and Vince was irate as he grabbed a headset and called out the new Mr Money in the Bank, Alberto Del Rio, Punk instead kicking Del Rio in the head and leaving the AllState Arena and leaving the WWE with the top title belt!
21:02-21:08: The theme of the Chairman hit as the crowd booed, Mr McMahon making his way out to the ring accompanied by the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis, as RAW superstars gathered in the backstage area up to a television monitor, the entire sports entertainment shocked forever after last night's dramatic occurrence. McMahon heard as the fans chanted 'CM Punk', Vince talking about how these people can chant about how Punk was victorious, and how he may as well go to some bingo hall and get some cheap pops just for having the most prestigious championship belt in WWE history. Or he can respect the history of the men who put a lot of hard work into the title and decide to defend it wisely! McMahon lists some legends, Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart; the list goes on and on. Vince notes how last night wasn't a good night for him, or the company, in fact, it was dark. And this is why he has personally invited CM Punk to appear tonight, to talk about how he was the rightful winner, but relinquish the WWE Championship back in its rightful ownership. McMahon also noted how John Cena let him down meanwhile, last night on RAW, and for that, the worst must happen. The Chairman reveals to us that he will return in an hour to discuss what will happen with the former WWE Champion. McMahon and Laurinaitis left.
21:11-21:12: Stills of the Money in the Bank pay-per-view were shown, as it mainly focused on the RAW Money in the Bank match, Alberto Del Rio becoming the first man in history to win the Royal Rumble match AND Money in the Bank ladder match in the same year.
21:12-21:13: The Miz was shown in the backstage area, a frown on his face. He was standing by with Scott Stanford, Stanford asking Miz about how last night he was potentially sabotaged from his opportunity to become Mr Money in the Bank a second year in a row thanks to a knee injury suffered. Miz snatched the microphone and talked about how he should be Mr Money in the Bank right now, in fact, he should be in this match tonight against Mr Money in the Bank rather than his ridiculous former apprentice, Alex Riley. Miz mentions that the Anonymous RAW General Manager decided to not allow him to compete tonight due to the knee injury he suffered last night, but he doesn't give a damn. Miz left, no catchphrase used.
21:13-21:16:
Commercial Break21:16-21:22:
Rey Mysterio def. Jack Swagger This was an exciting opening contest, as both of these men had some memorable moments in last night's Money in the Bank ladder match, both of these men unfortunately coming up short to Alberto Del Rio, in fact Mysterio was even unmasked in desperation by Del Rio to obtain the briefcase. The "All-American American" worked over the ankle of Mysterio, both former World Heavyweight Champions soon quickening up the pace, and Mysterio flicked Swagger out of the Ankle Lock, then cradling Swagger for the unexpected three!
**
21:22-21:23: Rey Mysterio celebrated his win as the fans cheered, Mysterio with a great victory tonight over the "All-American American". Jack Swagger sat up in the ring, Swagger disappointed by the result.
21:23-21:24: Mr McMahon was shown in the backstage area with John Laurinaitis, McMahon in a grim mood as we previously discovered, and Vince hushed the divas as Eve and Kelly Kelly were talking, McMahon glaring at Kelly and Eve and calling them class-A tramps! Vince continued to walk as Michael Cole mentioned that John Cena already thought that his contract was terminated, his thoughts recorded on his Twitter account. We were given the update that Cena nor Punk were in the building as of yet.
21:24-21:27:
Commercial Break
21:27-21:27: Kelly Kelly was shown on commentary as the WWE Divas Champion was going to be discussing thoughts on her potential contenders during this interpromotional divas battle royal.
21:27-21:31:
Beth Phoenix def. Melina, Nikki Bella, Rosa Mendes, Eve, Natalya, Rosa Mendes, Gail Kim, Brie Bella, Alicia Fox, A.J. & Kaitlyn in a Divas Battle Royal match This was to determine who got a shot at the WWE Divas Championship next Monday night on RAW from Hampton, Virginia, as the "Glamazon" teamed up with Natalya, Eve and Gail Kim to cut the action down. The battle soon came down to Phoenix and the Bella Twins, as Brie and Nikki tried to confuse Phoenix with their 'Twin Magic', Phoenix managing to take both out in the end for the win!
3/4
21:31-21:33: Beth Phoenix celebrated her win as the "Glamazon" stared down Kelly Kelly, the WWE Divas Champion sat at ringside, and Kelly noted how this will be her hardest title defence to date. Phoenix was then suddenly attacked by the Bella Twins and Maryse, as they left Beth laid out, Kelly then trying to make the save just for Maryse, Brie and Nikki to beat the two beautiful blondes down.
21:33-21:36:
Commercial Break
21:36-21:37:
An advertisement aired, promoting the 24th annual installment of SummerSlam, live on pay-per-view from Los Angeles, California's Staples Center on Sunday, August 14th 2011.
21:37-21:38: Stills from the Money in the Bank pay-per-view aired, as Mark Henry's destruction on the Big Show was shown, the "World's Strongest Man" proving himself as a massive threat to the "World's Largest Athlete". We were told by Michael Cole that Show has been injured with a broken ankle and won't be back for another six-to-eight weeks.
21:38-21:41:
Evan Bourne vs R-Truth; no contest Evan Bourne and R-Truth fought, the second match tonight in which involved two participants from the RAW Money in the Bank ladder match last night. R-Truth had the size advantage, managing to catch Bourne off-guard with several sly out-manoeuvres, as well as a cocky kick, but Bourne soon roared out with several hurricanranas, Mark Henry's theme then hitting, and the "World's Strongest Man" made his way to the ring, attacking Bourne!
*1/2
21:41-21:44: Mark Henry tossed Evan Bourne out of the ring whilst R-Truth fled the arena, the "World's Strongest Man" delivering the World's Strongest Slam on little Evan "Air Bourne right on the concrete floor! Mark Henry picked up a microphone and asked who wanted to play with the big, bad wolf. He talked about how Big Show may have been injured, but Mark is bored, and needs something to keep him interested! So anybody in the backstage area, whether it be RAW or SmackDown, he doesn't care, he will be responsible for someone's ass getting kicked!
21:44-21:47:
Commercial Break
21:47-21:48: Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov were shown in the backstage corridor chatting as Mark Henry passed by, the "World's Strongest Man" in a very chaotic mood here tonight after assaulting Evan Bourne moments ago. He noticed Kozlov and Marella looking at him from a distance and yelled if they had something they wanted to say to his face. Santino denied but Mark Henry shoved Santino right into the wall! Kozlov and Henry got into a brawl, but Mark Henry ended up tossing Kozlov right into a crate! Mark Henry followed with the World's Strongest Slam connecting on Marella, right on top of the cart! Who can stop this man!?
21:48-21:57: The theme of the Chairman hit for a second time here tonight, as the crowd booed, Mr McMahon strutting his way out to the Resch Center to more chants of 'CM Punk'. McMahon got into the ring, this time without John Laurinaitis, as McMahon talked about how he was getting ready to do something he does not want to do, but for he has to. McMahon mentions that this man gave him his word that last night at Money in the Bank, he would do his job and keep the WWE Championship in the WWE perimeter. Unfortunately, it wasn't this man who came out on top. And due to a pre-match stipulation, which the man himself challenged the Chairman to, if the man failed to win, he would be fired. Vince hesitated, then asking the man to get out here and get it over with. The theme of John Cena hit and the crowd exploded, the former WWE Champion making his way out to the ring, a mixed reaction as Cena didn't look too happy, just a blank expression on his face. Cena stood in front of McMahon as Vince asked Cena if he was aware of what he was in trouble for. Cena tells Vince that he gets that he's going to be able to replace him, and so because of this dictatorship in the WWE, he wishes Vince all the satisfaction to fire him. Vince laughs, asking Cena if he was taking the morale highground, but Cena tells McMahon that he was not! Cena rants about how he sacrifices his body and career every single night, in every city, every town, every country in the world. For World Wrestling Entertainment, Vince! Cena realizes he has enemies, but he is just doing it because it is what he loves! But if Vince wants to just fire him, or accuse him of being a smartass, then Cena may as well just quit, because like CM Punk, he can go somewhere else and stab the company in the back! Vince screams at Cena, telling him not to take this moment away from him, as McMahon fires Cena! The crowd booed as Cena nodded, John leaving whilst the crowd booed loudly. Vince talked about how he was still yet to talk to CM Punk, because he still had a lot of fun in store for that man!
21:57-22:00:
Commercial Break
22:00-22:02: The crowd booed as Alberto Del Rio was shown pulling up in his expensive car tonight, the "Mexican Aristocrat" with the Money in the Bank briefcase in hand, and had luck been in his hands successfully last night, he could have left Chicago, Illinois as WWE Champion. Del Rio took a microphone upon arriving in the ring, talking about how Justin Roberts' announcing is not up to scratch, and so he is happy to reveal the return...of
Ricardo Rodriguez!
22:02-22:08:
Alex Riley def. Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez) by disqualification A great opportunity for Alex Riley as the former apprentice of the Miz took on the new Mr Money in the Bank, Alberto Del Rio, the man who won it last night in RAW's Money in the Bank match, as well as nearly lost it. Riley pounded away at Del Rio, managing to keep Del Rio down before Riley started attempting the Implant DDT just for Del Rio to break out and start working the shoulder and the arm of A-Ry. A-Ry managed to fire back, with some of his heavy lefts and rights, but after a spinning neckbreaker, Riley began pumping for the Jumping DDT. Riley set it up, but the Miz limped into the ring from through the crowd, Skull Crushing Finale to A-Ry!
**
22:08-22:12: The Miz stomped away at Alex Riley as he then gave Alberto Del Rio the Skull Crushing Finale as well! The "Awesome One" had seemingly lost his temper tonight, as Miz stomped away at Riley again, Miz kicking Riley out of the ring and then following him out. The Miz limped after A-Ry, dropping him chest first over the barricade! Miz tore off the padding to the barricade before doing it again on the bare steel! The crowd booed as Riley clutched his chest and rib cage, Miz picking up the lifeless ex-apprentice and delivering a Skull Crushing Finale right on the floor! Miz yelled that he has been mishandled before shoving down the camera man, Miz beginning to leave to loud boos.
22:12-22:15:
Commercial Break
22:15-22:17: A video package aired, promoting John Morrison, the "Monday Night Delight" having not been seen since June when he was injured by R-Truth. It hyped up his training to return to the ring, and you had to believe that the "Shaman of Sexy" was going to be stronger than ever upon his return! John Morrison returns soon to RAW.
22:17-22:18: The Miz was shown walking through the backstage area, the "Awesome One" refusing to talk to Scott Stanford again tonight after assaulting Alex Riley and leaving him breathless. Stanford tried to ask Miz why he did what he did, and Miz just slapped him across the face and kept walking!
22:18-22:19: CM Punk was shown arriving at the Resch Center, the "Straight Edge Messiah" holding the WWE Championship and receiving a tremendous round of applause. Punk was confronted by John Cena, as Punk nodded at him, Cena simply remaining still. Punk told Cena that what he saw last night was something he was really impressed with. Punk tells Cena that Mr McMahon is merely a shell of a man he once was, and has lost his freaking mind. Cena remains silent, as Punk tells him that he doesn't exactly need this, he's not even contracted to be here.
22:19-22:24:
David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty def. Zack Ryder and Primo in a non-title match David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty had finally gotten rid of the Nexus attire, as they had grown into their own personas in this match. Zack Ryder has been keeping an eye on the WWE Tag Team Champions in recent weeks, as Ryder decided to give it a shot against Otunga and McGillicutty with his old tag team partner, Primo. Primo and Ryder didn't fair too well however, as Primo and Ryder, despite their months of teaming on WWE Superstars, did not have too much luck here, Ryder not getting the tag at all, and Otunga quickly polished Primo off with the Verdict for the win.
*1/2
22:24-22:25: David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty celebrated their win as the crowd booed, the WWE Tag Team Champions leaving together as the "A-List of Sports Entertainment" and the "The Fortunate Son" were triumphant. Zack Ryder climbed into the ring and helped Primo up, quickly delivering the Rough Ryder! Ryder got cheered as he began to leave alone.
22:25-22:28:
Commercial Break
22:28-22:31: A day in the life of Tough Enough winner, Andy Leavine aired, as "Silent Rage" showed us his home where he spent his childhood in the rough sections of Brooksville, Florida. Leavine recalls some encounters he had in his childhood that were hard for him to cope with. Leavine's coach from high school was also interviewed, describing his "Silent Rage" character and showing a video clip of an amateur wrestling match where his opponent kept pushing Andy, and Andy ended up tackling and pinning him quickly. "Silent Rage" could be the next big thing in the WWE!
22:31-22:33: Dolph Ziggler was shown in the backstage area on his cell phone, the WWE United States Champion talking about how he couldn't believe the fact that he wasn't given a chance to prove himself as a fighting champion last night at Money in the Bank. Vickie Guerrero, his assistant and girlfriend then appeared, Guerrero asking Ziggler if he actually wanted to risk putting the title on the line last night. Dolph tells Vickie that he actually did, becaue he does not want to look like a cowardly champion. Vickie tells Dolph that she did it out of best interest, also mentioning that she helped get Dolph out of action tonight as well. Ziggler whines before Drew McIntyre came into the dressing room, Dolph seemingly surprised that McIntyre still existed, the last time he appeared being thrown off the stage by Big Show and Mark Henry. McIntyre told Ziggler that he knows they don't like each other, but he's getting pretty sick of Vickie Guerrero being his back up every single two seconds. McIntyre tells Dolph that if it wasn't for Vickie, it would be HIM taking on Kofi Kingston tonight. But instead, he has to. Ziggler grins, wishing McIntyre luck.
22:33-22:39:
Kofi Kingston def. Drew McIntyre A hard-hitting match, as Drew McIntyre seemed motivated to impress WWE management, perhaps Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero after having been lost in the mix in recent weeks. Kofi Kingston was still on fire after last night's fantastic Money in the Bank ladder match, the "Jamaican Sensation" quickly clapping up the thunder, and Kofi started setting up the Trouble in Paradise on McIntyre, McIntyre blocking it and working away at Kofi. McIntyre soon prepared the Future Shock DDT, but Dolph Ziggler's theme hit! Drew was startled and Kingston landed Trouble in Paradise on McIntyre for the win.
**
22:39-22:40: Kofi Kingston celebrated his win as Drew McIntyre looked ticked off, and Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero had some explaining to do!
22:40-22:41: Mr McMahon was shown making his way for the ring, and he will address CM Punk, next!
22:41-22:45:
Commercial Break
22:45-23:02: The crowd booed as for the third time tonight, the theme of the Chairman hit, Mr McMahon making his way down to the ring, McMahon not wasting any time tonight as Vince told the fans that last night as we all know by now, we saw CM Punk, a now uncontracted worker get away with the WWE Championship. McMahon tells the fans that due to a copyright issue, WWE, Inc cannot allow CM Punk to use the WWE Championship in the independent circuit. If the "Straight Edge Messiah" was to do that, he would be sued for every single penny he ever earned wrestling for the WWE, but not only for the WWE, but for everything he's ever accomplished on the independent circuit. McMahon is soon cut off by the theme of the "Straight Edge Messiah", CM Punk getting the loudest pop of the night as the WWE Champion made his way out to the ring, despite the fact that he is unemployed by the company! Punk climbed into the ring and told Vince that he can't say that he didn't see this coming, and so he wants Vince to know that he can't 'fire' him, and he's not about to fall into being a part of the Chairman's running gag/charade he has been playing all night long. Punk tells Vince that he sees himself on a higher ground to Vince. See, he has freedom. Vince doesn't. Even though that he made everything around him, he fails to see that he has restrictions. Isn't it true that during his wife, Linda's campaign to become Senator of Connecticut, that the WWE had to water down everything that made them the best entertainment in the world? Punk lived for the 1980s wrestling boom and the rise of Hulkamania; he was around for the 1990s wrestling boom and the Monday Night Wars, but where was the boom for the 2000s? Non existent. Punk reminds Vince why he's no longer employed, and that's because of the politics backstage. He was turned down by Triple H, Shawn Michaels, all of the top guys. Now look at him. He's not disrespecting a legacy...the legacy disrespected him! Vince was beetroot red, as he yelled for security, Punk getting ready to hold off the security that came down to the ring, and Punk was tackled by the seven or eight guards in the ring! Punk was handcuffed as Vince grabbed the WWE Championship, when suddenly
Triple H's theme hit!
The "Cerebral Assassin" got a monter cheer as Triple H came out to the ring in a suit, the "Game" climbing into the ring and scaring off the security! Triple H told Vince that he was abusing his powers as the Chairman. He told Vince that this man is a man that has said what is wrong with this company, and despite CM Punk's hate for him, he doesn't listen to a damn word he says. Let alone anyone says. Triple H tells Vince that he arrived late tonight because he was at a meeting, a board of directors meeting. Vince didn't understand, as Hunter talked about how the directors believe that McMahon's decision making has been very questionable as of late. He has lost control, he has struck his own staff, not talent. He fired John Cena, one of the most profitable talent that the company has right now, and he let CM Punk, one of the absolute best, go from the company. The security took Punk away through the crowd as Hunter tells Vince that he is the reason for why the company is failing. And even the family agrees. Hunter tells McMahon that he really does hate to tell him this, but Triple H himself has acquired the role as new Chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. And he hates to say it, but the board of directors all agree on this; but Vince McMahon's time is up, he has been relieved of his role. Hunter glares at Vince as McMahon looks gobsmacked, Triple H dropping the microphone and the new Chairman of the WWE, Inc left the ring whilst Vince remained, WWE Championship in hand, his world shook, and the fans chanting 'Na Na Na Na'. RAW went off the air.
