Indianapolis, Indiana - Conseco Fieldhouse

21:00-21:02: A replay from last Monday night on RAW aired, as it showed Triple H's difficulty in trying to crown a new WWE Champion between John Cena, Alberto Del Rio, R-Truth, Rey Mysterio and The Miz. Eventually, the theme of CM Punk hit, and Punk came out to face Cena off. The "Straight Edge Messiah" had returned. The opening video package for RAW aired, and we cut to the live Conseco Fieldhouse for another exciting edition of Monday Night RAW! Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed us to the show.
21:02-21:14: The "Cult of Personality" hit, and out came the man we least expected to see last Monday night on RAW, CM Punk. The "Best in the World" walked without purpose, taking his time to show off his WWE Championship. Punk came to the ring as the "Straight Edge Messiah" was cheered by the thousands of Indianapolis fans in attendance. CM Punk talked about how he was back here, and he really must say, thank the 'idiotic son-in-law' for getting him back on television. See, CM Punk has saved them all once again. Triple H offered him a worthy contract, he gave him creative control, he gave him all of the power in the world, just so he could come back. But the real reason he is back, is not because of the money. Instead, he's here to save the WWE Universe from the devil that is our new Chairman! The crowd gave him a mixed reaction, as Punk talks about how people call him the "Anti-Hero" of the WWE, well that is an understatement. He wants everybody to understand now, how he is the "Best in the World", and as WWE Champion, he can kick damn near anyone's ass in the back.
With that, the theme of John Cena hit, and out charged the former WWE Champion and rival of CM Punk! Cena got in the ring and talked about how he's happy that Punk has returned, but that's only for the fact that Cena can get some well-earned retribution on him for Money in the Bank! He talks about how Punk killed everything he worked hard to get and what he loved, just for his own. To Punk, that title is no prize, it's an object of manipulation and power. Punk asks Cena how he saw the title, considering that he can't remember ONCE when Cena wore that title around that waist. It was always in his hand, dragging the gold around. Punk tells Cena, that it took some getting used to, thanks to the god awful design of the belt, but he's quite pleased that Cena made it. For people like him, the "Best in the World". Cena talks about how he's happy that Punk's happy. Now how about a rematch? The crowd popped as Punk grinned, talking about how there obviously isn't any other way around it, because while Cena is obliged to his rematch clause, Punk would just enjoy kicking his ass all over again, and hearing the crowd boo Cena out of the building.
Suddenly, Triple H's theme hit, and out came the "Game", the Chairman walking out to the arena and standing on the rampway. Triple H talked about how this created an interesting and predictable decision he can make for SummerSlam, but he can do things differently, and for the better interest of the WWE Universe. Tonight, John Cena will compete with R-Truth, Rey Mysterio, Alberto Del Rio and The Miz, and only if Cena wins, he will go to SummerSlam to challenge for the WWE Championship! Punk grinned and mocked Cena, wishing him luck and then leaving.

21:17-21:18: Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler discussed the main event five-way match to determine Cena as a number one contender to CM Punk's WWE Championship, then talking about some features on WWE.com today.
21:18-21:27:
Jack Swagger def. John Morrison A hot opening contest to kick off RAW tonight, as the "All-American American" has been losing quite frequently in recent weeks, the "Shaman of Sexy" wrestling his first match in four months, as the "Monday Night Delight" was returning from neck injuries sustained by R-Truth. Swagger tried to work away at the neck of Morrison, Swagger with several waistlock takedowns and then following up with a front face lock, not allowing Morrison any method to escape. Morrison soon used his agility though, a springboard dropkick taking Swagger down easily. Morrison had his eyes set on the Starship Pain, but R-Truth's voice was heard! Truth welcomed him back to RAW, the land of the Truth, and suddenly Swagger took Morrison off of the top rope with a Gutwrench Powerbomb for the win! Swagger wins one!

21:27-21:28: Jack Swagger celebrated his win, dancing around the ring, as the "All-American American" had finally won a match after various losses in recent weeks. John Morrison recovered, as R-Truth had just cost Morrison big-time.

Commercial Break
21:31-21:33: We returned to RAW as The Miz was shown walking, and he seemed to mean business. He walked into Alex Riley, and Riley got into a fist fight with Miz, two weeks before their Loser Leaves RAW match at SummerSlam! Riley tossed Miz into a mesh wall, Miz picking up a light and smashing it into the head of A-Ry! Miz stumbled away, as officials and EMTs arrived to aid Riley and escort Miz away.
21:33-21:34: We return to RAW as Theodore Long was stood in the ring, the SmackDown General Manager here to talk about this Bragging Rights Series that started last Friday night on SmackDown. The current score is SmackDown: 1, RAW: 0, and we are going into our second match up tonight! Long introduces
Justin Gabriel, as he talks about how Gabriel has the promise to make the Bragging Rights Trophy SmackDown's once again! The Anonymous RAW General Manager then chimed in, Michael Cole standing on the podium to read what the GM said. He reveals that RAW's representative tonight shall be
Evan Bourne!
21:34-21:43:
Evan Bourne def. Justin Gabriel in the Bragging Rights Series An exciting dream match of sorts here, and this Friday night on SmackDown, we are scheduled to have Justin Gabriel do battle with his former partner from the Nexus and the Corre, Heath Slater. This match went through a
Commercial Break, as Evan Bourne and Justin Gabriel traded high-energy offence in the opening moments, as neither of these men were about to fall victim to a fault to allow the other brand momentum. Bourne took Gabriel out of the ring with a hurricanrana, and Bourne followed with a springboard moonsault missing, and Gabriel jumped onto the apron and nailed a springboard moonsault, turning it into the reverse DDT! Gabriel and Bourne fought outstandingly as Gabriel tried to give Bourne the top rope hurricanrana, just for Gabriel to get pushed off, the Air Bourne giving Evan the win!
**3/4
21:43-21:44: Evan Bourne celebrated his win as Justin Gabriel remained down, Theodore Long helping Gabriel out of the ring. RAW were up 1:1 in the Bragging Rights Series.
21:44-21:46: Triple H was shown in his office, as the Chairman was talking to Zack Ryder about how he cannot sanction the WWE Internet Championship, the WWE didn't make the title. Ryder asked if he was serious, talking about how instead he'll become the first ever Internet and Tag Team Champion! Hunter smirked as Ryder walked out, CM Punk wandering in. Punk asked how he was, as Hunter told Punk not to kiss his ass, 'idiotic son-in-law' and all. The Chairman tells Punk to get to the point, as the WWE Champion tells Triple H that he's bored, because he has had nothing to do since July 17th. Triple H tells Punk that he can give him a job alright, and that's officiating the main event! Punk told Triple H that he knew he'd be a lot like Vince, he just likes the dream twist to how Triple H owns the company.
21:46-21:49:
Commercial Break
21:49-21:54:
Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly def. Melina and Maryse A competitive tag team match ahead, as Melina and Maryse have certainly become acquainted in recent weeks with one another, as have rivals in two weeks, the "Glamazon" Beth Phoenix and WWE Divas Champion, Kelly Kelly. Kelly and Melina started, Kelly managing to take Melina down using a clothesline and a flying forearm, but the cheating tactics of Melina and Maryse caused Kelly to lose her momentum. They worked over her as Beth urged for the tag, the "Glamazon" finally getting it, and she cleared house, the "Glamazon" finishing it off with the Glam Slam to Maryse for the win.
*
21:54-21:55: The crowd cheered as Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly celebrated their win, the "Glamazon" staring Kelly down and telling her to keep up the hard work, as Kelly had been saved by Phoenix during this match. Beth left Kelly alone in the ring, in two weeks these two compete for the WWE Divas Championship!
21:55-21:58:
Commercial Break
21:58-21:59: A video clip of Cee-Lo Green aired, as Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler revealed that Cee-Lo Green would be starring in a concert live on pay-per-view at SummerSlam!
21:59-22:07: The theme of the Miz hit to loud boos, as the "Awesome One" strutted out, Miz not scheduled to compete until the fatal four-way match later tonight. The Miz stood in the ring and talked about how he was screwed last week on RAW, because Miz rightfully should have been the WWE Champion. Miz then talks about Alex Riley, his pesky NXT Rookie from Season 2 or whatever. Miz talks about how ingrateful he has been in recent months, and how he remembers a time where A-Ry was drafted to SmackDown, in the Draft last April. And this is why in two weeks time at SummerSlam, Riley can say goodbye to the RAW brand, because this is the land of Awesomeness, something that Alex Riley doesn't have. A-Ry's theme then hit, and Riley came out with a bandage on his head, Riley with a slight limp in his walk as well, being attacked in a brawl with the Miz earlier tonight. Riley told Miz that he really wants to get rid of him, well he wants to get rid of the overrated nature of the Miz! The crowd cheered as A-Ry spoke about how he has bored people to death since 2009, for two and a half years Miz has irritated them. He can have his fame, and he can have whatever he wants, but he does not need to remind people on live television week in and week out! But it doesn't matter, why? Because after August 14th, we won't see him the night after; we'll see him the next Friday on SmackDown. Miz looked provoked as he tried to give Riley the Skull Crushing Finale, Alex Riley reversing it into a firemans carry takedown, Riley with the Implant DDT on Miz! Riley covered Miz and counted three, as Miz looked intimidated and slid out of the ring! Riley grinned as Miz looked even more angry, the Anonymous RAW General Manager chiming in, as Michael Cole hit up the podium, revealing that Triple H had to step out of the Conseco Fieldhouse, leaving him in charge for the remainder of the night. He revealed that he wanted to add something to Miz and Riley's Loser Leaves RAW match at SummerSlam, and the match shall now be, a Steel-Cage match! Riley smirked as Miz was beside himself.
22:07-22:09: Dolph Ziggler was shown with Vickie Guerrero in the backstage area with Scott Stanford, as Ziggler was asked about what his plans are concerning Drew McIntyre following last week. The cocky WWE United States Champion told Stanford that McIntyre certainly TRIED to prove himself as a threat to his title. But let's face it; nobody out of Scotland screams 'Perfection' like the WWE United States Champion. Vickie Guerrero talks about how McIntyre is nothing compared to her man, when suddenly Drew McIntyre appeared next to Ziggler, asking him to give him a challenge in this tag team match tonight.
22:09-22:12:
Commercial Break
22:12-22:13: A Curt Hawkins vignette showed up, the former WWE Tag Team Champion having worked on Superstars for many months, and he will be debuting on RAW officially in a few weeks.
22:13-22:21:
Kofi Kingston and Drew McIntyre def. Dolph Ziggler and JTG (w/Vickie Guerrero and Mason Ryan) It was strange to see JTG on RAW with his recently assisted bodyguard, Mason Ryan, but Kofi Kingston and Drew McIntyre was an even stranger combination, having only fought several times in recent weeks. Drew McIntyre got quite a reaction coming out, as the WWE United States Champion went to work on Kofi Kingston, the West-African being taken down by a dropkick and a sleeper hold, but Kofi finally got the tag to McIntyre, the "Future" getting into the ring and taking down JTG several times, a big boot to JTG, and then a backbreaker to Ziggler! McIntyre had Ziggler set up, and the Future Shock DDT connected, McIntyre scoring the three on the WWE United States Champion!
**
22:21-22:22: Drew McIntyre celebrated his win as Kofi Kingston came out of nowhere, the Trouble in Paradise to a running in JTG! The "Neighborhoodie" was laid out as Mason Ryan tried to enter the ring, but the bodyguard of JTG was knocked off by a dropkick from Kofi! Dolph Ziggler rolled out of the ring and joined Vickie Guerrero on the aisle as the WWE United States Champion seemed to fear McIntyre!
22:22-22:24: Alberto Del Rio was shown standing by with Todd Grisham, Del Rio asked about his thoughts on tonight's fatal four-way match. The Mexican Aristocrat talked about how he didn't really care about winning tonight, because, you have John Cena; a hard-working man who tries too hard and typically fails, the Miz; a cocky hothead who always makes a mistake and loses. Rey Mysterio now, he is simply a cocky little beam of nothing. He talks about how he flies, but he is nothing compared to him! Del Rio then noted how CM Punk is also in this match tonight, as the special referee, and Del Rio reminds Grisham of his briefcase. He can cash in at any time. Whoever wins, they could end up facing Alberto Del Rio for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam. But you, already know that.
22:24-22:25: We see Rey Mysterio walking down a corridor warming up, as well as R-Truth and John Cena, the five-way main event is up next!
22:25-22:28:
Commercial Break
22:28-22:29: An advertisement aired, promoting WWE SummerSlam, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, August 14th 2011 from Los Angeles, California.
22:29-22:49:
R-Truth def. John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Alberto Del Rio and The Miz; CM Punk was the special referee An outstanding main event, as these five competitors left it all on the line, to try and sway the WWE Championship contender spot from John Cena. Cena was targeted by every man in this match excluding Rey Mysterio, as Mysterio took down Alberto Del Rio several times, then using him to hurricanrana from right into a crossbody on Miz! The "Awesome One" fought hard as well, nailing two Skull Crushing Finales throughout. Alex Riley came to ringside though, and attacked Miz, taking him out of the equation. CM Punk as official though, he didn't care what happened! John Cena and Rey Mysterio ended up being the final two men standing, as both men fired at each other hard, the 619 attempt by Rey reversed as Cena nailed Mysterio with the Attitude Adjustment, Cena with the cover, but Punk counted two and then stopped! Cena looked in confusion as the WWE Champion kicked Cena right in the skull; Rey slowly stirring and going up for a springboard splash, but R-Truth ran in, shoving Rey out to the floor, and R-Truth covered Cena for the fast three!
**1/4
22:49-22:54: R-Truth celebrated his win, when suddenly Triple H's theme hit, and out came the Chairman, Hunter returning with a microphone in his hand. He talked about how he was sorry that he had to shoot off, but he came back just in time to see that biased decision. And because of it, R-Truth, he has plans for him not concerning the WWE Championship; facing John Morrison at SummerSlam! The crowd cheered, as Hunter followed it up, talking about how it seems like CM Punk can be punished, and so, the "Straight Edge Messiah" can defend that WWE Championship against John Cena at SummerSlam! Punk then took a microphone, talking about how that is what he wanted all along. Screw Rey Mysterio, screw Alberto Del Rio. Nobody holds a dollar to him. The "Best in the World" will beat Cena once again at SummerSlam, and if he doesn't, he'll leave again, and stay that way! The crowd booed at that, as Punk was still being loved by this Indianapolis crowd. Punk then asked the capacity crowd in Indianapolis to watch the following, as the "Straight Edge Messiah" delivered tried to deliver the GTS on Cena just for Cena to slip out and give Punk the Attitude Adjustment! Punk slid out of the ring and complimented his own intelligence, Cena looking motivated as RAW went off the air.
