WWE Friday Night SmackDown - Friday 22nd July 2011

Minneapolis, Minnesota - Target Center

20:00-20:02: A replay from Money in the Bank was shown, as it highlighted the last installment between Christian and Randy Orton, a back and forth and intense match for the World Heavyweight Championship. But Christian was on the bad side of things and spat at the "Viper", Orton getting himself disqualified for his anger and thus getting disqualified. Orton assaulted Christian after the bell, giving him not one but TWO RKOs on the Spanish announce table! The opening video package for SmackDown aired, and we go to the Target Center, where Michael Cole, Josh Mathews and Booker T introduced us to the fallout show from a great pay-per-view event! 20:02-20:08: SmackDown kicked off with Christian's theme hitting, and out came the new World Heavyweight Champion, dressed in a suit as Christian climbed into the ring and began to talk about how this suit was not to proclaim himself as the most egotistical man on the SmackDown roster, it is to mark down the date that "Captain Charisma" becomes a two time World Heavyweight Champion! And this time, he's not about to let anybody take it away from him. Christian talks about how last Sunday night, he was pretty badly beaten up, but it was all apart of his master plan to rid the company of the "Viper"! His anger management problem got the better of him, and he heard that Orton got into a fight with Theodore Long backstage afterwards. Unfortunately, we might not know because Randy isn't here tonight, suspiciously enough! Suddenly, Sheamus' theme hit, and out came the "Celtic Warrior", Sheamus making his way to the ring and straight up asking Christian when his title opportunity was! Sheamus tells Christian that he's had the best run in the company in recent months, he took out the undefeatable Sin Cara, he almost won Money in the Bank. It was a great night for Sheamus! He didn't win, but he showed people who not to mess with! Christian laughs, telling Sheamus that he doesn't exactly need to hear this. Sheamus can go and chat to someone else, he's outta here! Christian went to leave when suddenly Theodore Long's them hit. Long told Christian that what he saw on Sunday was not a triumphant hero winning the World title. It was a coward pushing the "Viper" over the edge! Randy's supposed fight with him on Sunday never happened, and his frequent arrogance will cost him, because tonight, Christian defends that World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus! The fans cheer, as Sheamus grins, telling Christian that he's going to match the length of his first title reign, once Sheamus knocks Christian's lights out later tonight! 20:08-20:11: Commercial Break 20:11-20:12: An advertisement aired, promoting WWE SummerSlam, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, August 14th 2011, from Los Angeles, California. 20:12-20:23: Wade Barrett def. Justin Gabriel Quite the back and forth match, as the former leader of the Corre took on his colleague for various months, Justin Gabriel. Gabriel was cheered in this outing as he caught the European mastermind with several dropkicks and armdrags, Gabriel wrapping Barrett up in himself as the South-African sensation used his agility to keep on top of Barrett. These two had to still be sore following their Money in the Bank match last Sunday night, Daniel Bryan eventually coming out victorious. Barrett soon used his power to keep on top of Gabriel, Justin trying to keep on top, but as Gabriel tried a diving crossbody, Barrett matched it into a Samoan drop, and the Wasteland finished Gabriel off. **1/4 20:23-20:25: The crowd booed as Wade Barrett celebrated his win, Barrett picking up a microphone and talking about how he should have won the Money in the Bank ladder match last weekend. Daniel Bryan, in his honest opinion scored the biggest fluke victory he has ever seen. Barrett talks about how sly and devious Bryan was, dating back to when he was fired from the company and dropped by the Nexus last Summer. Barrett tells Bryan that if it comes down to it, it will be Wade Barrett facing Daniel Bryan when Bryan cashes in Money in the Bank, because Barrett will be all over the World Heavyweight Championship scene from now on, it's strictly business! 20:25-20:26: We see the "Viper" arrive at the Target Center, as Randy Orton made his way through the entrance, Orton not scheduled to compete here tonight. 20:26-20:29: Commercial Break 20:29-20:30: We go back to the announce position as Michael Cole, Booker T and Josh Mathews are discussing the Chairman, Vince McMahon being relieved from his position and Triple H taking over. We will see Triple H in his first act as Chairman of the board this Monday night, as former boss, Mr McMahon will also be in attendance. 20:32-20:34: We cut to the ring as Jinder Mahal and the Great Khali arrived in the ring, Mahal taking a microphone and beginning to discuss how he has been very impressive in recent weeks, and how this routine is going to stick around for quite a long time. Mahal talks about his Punjabian Sikh Indian heritage, and how he came to America to get a challenge. And that is it? Mahal talks about how nobody has squared up Khali and Mahal, and before long, it looks like they are going to have to force their way through to get their message across! Moments later, the theme of the Usos hit, and it looked like they were having some competition right here and now! 20:34-20:39: Jinder Mahal and The Great Khali def. The Usos The new addition of doing the siva tau has led Jimmy and Jey Uso to victory in recent weeks, defeating Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel several times. The Great Khali dominated both of the Usos in the opening moments, but the double-team antics of the Samoans took down the giant Indian, and Jinder Mahal soon got the tag. The Usos went right after Mahal, knocking him down repeatedly and even setting up the Alley-Us, Mahal landing on his feet, Jinder Mahal with a new move, the double knee gutbuster connecting on Jey! The move was punned the 'Sands of Time', and Mahal and Khali got the win! *3/4 20:39-20:40: The crowd booed as Jinder Mahal and the Great Khali celebrated their win, Mahal yelling for some damn competition! 20:40-20:41: Johnny Curtis was shown once again in the backstage area as Curtis introduced himself as the NXT Season 4 winner. He talked about how he gets less television time a week than his rival from NXT Season 4, Derrick Bateman. Curtis states that he doesn't understand, because Bateman has now lost TWO NXT seasons. He calls it greed, something that most stars from NXT have. He mentions that before long, he might just do a Kaval and end up on the unemployment line. But his heart is set on doing more than just doing a job every night of the week, oh yes. Johnny Curtis is coming soon. 20:41-20:44: Commercial Break 20:44-20:45: Daniel Bryan was shown standing by the side of Todd Grisham, and Grisham wanted to catch a word with the new Mr Money in the Bank, Daniel Bryan. Grisham asks Bryan when he thinks he will cash it in. Bryan talks about how people like Wade Barrett want to call it a fluke that he got the win last Sunday. It wasn't, and if Barrett wants to call him out on that, he can, in the ring, next Friday night. Bryan mentions that we get CM Punk on RAW calling himself the "Best in the World". Bryan says fine, but everybody needs to remember that that is what they were calling him on the independent scene last year. And when he cashes it in, he's going to be opportunistic, but he wants a main event match. He is going to go out there and tell the champ when he plans on cashing it in. Why? Because he proves himself as the "Best in the World" once again. 20:45-20:54: The theme of the "Viper" hit, and out came Randy Orton himself. The former World Heavyweight Champion climbed into the ring and began to talk about how he cannot be held responsible for what happened last Sunday night. It was Christian who pushed him over the edge, and "Captain Charisma" wants to call himself an honorable champion? The repulsive excuse for man spat in his mouth and expected him to handle it. No. The "Viper" is not going to allow Christian to take advantage of him any longer. Orton tells Christian that their feud is making him oh so sick. He's so bored of this repetitive routine. And so he doesn't care who wins tonight, because he's going to face the winner for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam! Mark Henry's theme then cut him off, as the "World's Strongest Man" made his way out to the ring, Mark asking Randy why he has to be one to keep hogging the spotlight every week. He is the future, not the "Viper". Mark tells Orton that he impressed the world when he crippled the Big Show last Sunday night! Henry asked Orton what he had, and Mark answered it for him, a bad temper and an ass that won't quit. But if he went face to face with Mark Henry one more time, he would snap his snake-like neck! Orton came to blows with Mark, as the fans cheered, Orton and Mark Henry showing each other no quit, and suddenly Mark sent Orton out to the floor! Mark Henry tried to plough him through the barricade, but Orton dodged it, the "World's Strongest Man" falling through the barricade! Orton stood tall, as he began to leave. 20:54-20:55: Cody Rhodes was shown in the backstage area accompanied by Ted Dibiase and several of his baggers, and up next we will see the "Un-Dashing One" go one-on-one with the new Mr Money in the Bank, Daniel Bryan, next! 20:55-20:58: Commercial Break 20:58-21:12: Daniel Bryan def. Cody Rhodes Theodore Long came out as the match began, revealing that he had banned Ted Dibiase and the baggers from ringside, wanting to make this match between Mr Money in the Bank and the "Un-Dashing One" an even fight. Daniel Bryan started strong, several strongstyle kicks and a lot of mat wrestling involved. Cody Rhodes soon slyly started fighting back, the springboard kick knocking Bryan out. Rhodes had Bryan out on his feet as Cody Rhodes prepared the Cross Rhodes, Bryan reversing it by scissoring the head of Rhodes and then delivering several forearm shots to the head of Rhodes! Such a unique reversal, and Bryan followed it with a hurricanrana! Bryan caught Rhodes with the LeBell Lock, and as Cody struggled, he tried reaching the ropes, but it just wasn't enough! Rhodes tapped. **3/4 21:12-21:13: Ezekiel Jackson was shown walking through the backstage area, and the WWE Intercontinental Champion will be in action against Heath Slater in a few moments. 21:13-21:16: Commercial Break 21:16-21:17: We see Theodore Long in his office, as the SmackDown General Manager was approached by a steaming Mark Henry, the "World's Strongest Man" getting ready to trash the place, Henry telling Long that he wanted Randy Orton in the ring next week. Long told Henry that he can have it, and the winner will go to SummerSlam to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship. The fans cheered as Henry promised that the "Viper"s neck would get beheaded. 21:17-21:22: Ezekiel Jackson def. Heath Slater in a non-title match Heath Slater showcased a new style during this match, as the Southern redhead went right into this match with Ezekiel Jackson with force, Slater being the much more agile member of the match. Big Ezekiel Jackson managed to toss Slater around the ring however, the "Personification of Domination" quickly making short work of the former Corre member. Slater was simply too small for the big man. The Intercontinental Champion quickly finished Slater off with the Torture Rack. *3/4 21:22-21:23: Ezekiel Jackson celebrated his win to loud cheers, as Zeke had dominated Heath Slater. The WWE Intercontinental Champion was potentially one of the biggest hits on the SmackDown roster, as he had just proved in an example. 21:23-21:24: An advertisement aired, promoting WWE's new Anti-Bullying Campaign. 21:24-21:26: Jack Korpela was shown standing by with the World Heavyweight Champion, Christian, as Christian seemed on edge, calling it a conspiracy that he so at odds through all of what has happened. The World Heavyweight Championship was Christian's for five days last time he held it. He won it at Extreme Rules and fulfilled his dream. And then Randy Orton stole it. Now, he wins it at Money in the Bank and has to face Sheamus? He's not letting Sheamus steal it. Or Mark Henry or Randy Orton again, he's not exactly up for this tough task. But it's all down to how much he wants it, and he wants it more than any of them! 21:26-21:30: A.J. (w/Natalya) def. Alicia Fox A.J., a member of the NXT Season 3 competition has been managed by Natalya for various weeks alongside NXT Season 3 winner, Kaitlyn. Last night Kaitlyn managed to pull off an upset against Rosa Mendes, but tonight it was all down to Alicia Fox to match things up against A.J., Kaitlyn and Natalya. Fox taunted A.J. with her superior experience, cockily kicking her in the spine while she was down. Fox soon attempted the Scissors Kick, planning to wrap it up swiftly, but A.J. avoided it, the northern lights suplex connecting and A.J. got the win! 3/4 21:30-21:31: Natalya celebrated with A.J., as her two former NXT Rookies had come out on top of Alicia Fox and Rosa Mendes this week on WWE television! Kaitlyn watched on from the backstage area, happy as Natalya had proved to finally be a successful mentor. 21:31-21:33: Matt Striker was shown standing by with Sheamus, as Striker asked the "Celtic Warrior" for his thoughts on his World Heavyweight Championship opportunity in a few moments. Sheamus told Striker that he is a former two time WWE Champion. So he and Christian have something in common. What they don't have in common? Sheamus won his first title in a matter of seven weeks. Christian? Thirteen years. Sheamus talks about how big of an opportunity-taker he was, and told Striker that he was better than Christian. And tonight, Sheamus was taking home his first World Heavyweight Championship. 21:33-21:36: Commercial Break 21:36-21:53: Christian def. Sheamus to retain the World Heavyweight Championship The World Heavyweight Champion was at odds once again in this one, as the "Celtic Warrior" was actually cheered on in this encounter. "Captain Charisma" tried to sly his way through it, attempting to get himself counted out, and then trying to get himself disqualified, but Sheamus managed to take Christian down with force, Sheamus taking Christian to the limit with several hard-hitting moves. The slingshot splash from the apron, the fallaway slam and the chokebomb have Christian in trouble, as Sheamus levelled Christian for the Brogue Kick, Christian ducking it and trying the Killswitch, Sheamus sending Christian into the corner and nailing the High Cross! Sheamus went for the win, to end another five day title reign of Christian's, when Randy Orton hit the ring, an RKO to Sheamus! **3/4 21:53-21:55: Randy Orton stood tall over Sheamus and Christian, as the "Viper" got ready to try and punt the "Celtic Warrior" all over again, the "World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry coming out to the ring, dragging Orton out to the floor! Mark gave Orton the World's Strongest Slam on the floor, and Mark Henry was telling Orton that was what to expect next Friday night on SmackDown! The crowd booed as Henry stood tall, carnage in and around the ring as SmackDown went off the air.

A solid opening promo with the new World Heavyweight Champion Christian discussing his victory over Randy Orton. A face Sheamus could work imo. Great main event for tonight. Solid opening match with two former Nexus/Corre mates. Barrett needed the victory here. Hopefully you build him up to the beast he was during the Nexus days. Solid promo directed towards Daniel Bryan. A feud between the two wouldn't be bad at all. Not interested at all in Khali and Mahal, but an expected victory for them over The Usos. Decent segment with Orton and Henry. Would like to see them feud, but that doesn't seem likely now as I expect Orton and Christian's program to continue until SummerSlam. Hate to see Cody Rhodes lose, but Bryan needed the win coming off of his Money In The Bank victory. Obvious win for Ezekiel Jackson. Slater scoring the upset would've been awful. Good win for A.J. I suppose. Orton's involvement in the main event was expected. Loved Henry standing tall over the carnage. A Fatal Four Way at SummerSlam would be alright if that's what you're going for. A good show overall.

RAW STARS MOVING OVER TO SMACKDOWN?; TOUGH ENOUGH CONTESTANT GETS TRYOUT; SIN CARA AND BIG SHOW NOTES Posted by James T. on Sunday, 24/07/11 at 4:58am
-- With the recent lack of star power on the SmackDown roster, management have seemingly taken note to this and appealed to using their full uppercard roster to utilize the main event scene for this current moment in time (as seen on SmackDown with Sheamus and Mark Henry). The roster's midcard will be developed thoroughly, most of which perhaps becoming consistent main eventers on the programme. However, rumor has it that following SummerSlam, we will see one or two RAW superstars move to SmackDown to keep the main event scene fresh.
-- Former Tough Enough contestant, Ivelisse Velez worked a tryout match before fans were let into the arena before the SmackDown tapings. Ivelisse was eliminated due to injury in the reality TV show, Tough Enough, but WWE agents kept an eye on her. We will have more on what occurs in upcoming weeks.
-- With Sin Cara's failure of the Wellness Policy, it is uncertain on his future in the WWE. If he is scheduled to return, it will most likely be on the August 19th 2011 edition of SmackDown. Big Show's injury is legitimate, and he has taken off some time to rehabilitate to this injury. Odds are he'll be back in time to compete in a feud ending match with Mark Henry at Hell in a Cell.
-- NXT Season 6 will last twenty episode as did NXT Season 5 (Redemption). This means that the competition will begin this Tuesday (July 26th) and end on December 6th, 2011.
-- You will find in upcoming weeks that superstars that have been trailing around in recent weeks/months will be positioned into storylines or feuds. This is a part of new head booker, Triple H's strategy to building newer talent.

Friday Night SmackDown; good opening segment, and I hope you actually give Sheamus something to do, because he just seems to be hanging in the Main Event division lately. Wade Barrett over Justin Gabriel is good, and I like his promo afterwards. He's definitely a future World Heavyweight Champion. Obvious victory for Jinder Mahal and The Great Khali, but I would like to see The Usos in the WWE Tag Team Championship hunt soon, always felt they've ben underrated. Daniel Bryan cashing-in for a match seems the most appropriate as he is a super babyface. Orton and Henry storyline possibly? Pleased to see Bryan with a victory after winning Money in the Bank. However, I still struggle to see him as a World Heavyweight Champion, so hopefully we see him grow. Obvious victory for Ezekiel Jackson, he's a valuable talent. I can't say I've been following much of the Divas lately, but A.J. seems pretty good. Obvious victory for Christian here, he couldn't lose the belt in 5 days twice, that'd just be terrible. Could this be a Fatal 4-Way for SummerSlam? That'd be interesting. Overall, a good show.

Good episode of Smackdown. Starting the show off with the new champ in the ring is no surprise. The segment was a little hard to follow at points, but good nonetheless. Big main event for tonight, although somewhat predictable. Good match between the former Corre teammates. Barrett's post match promo was good, I definitely wouldn't mind seeing him face Bryan for the title. I absolutely can't stand Jinder Mahal but I understand him and Khali beating the Usos was to build him up. Please, keep him away from the IC title, though. The Orton/Henry segment was decent, not a fan of Henry ending up on the ground as he's just been too dominant in recent weeks. Very nice match between Bryan/Rhodes and smart move to make the new Mr. MITB look strong. Jackson beating Slater was not surprising, I hope you keep the belt on Zeke, I actually like him. Divas are a big joke right now, hopefully you can give the division some credibility in the near future. Christian retaining the belt is obvious, but wouldn't Sheamus have won the match if Orton interfered and caused the DQ? I still get where you're going and an interesting segment to end Smackdown. I hope Mark Henry gets the title shot. Overall I felt you rebounded from RAW, which in my eyes, as a dissapointing start to this diary. Can't wait to see more, Dan.

Good way to kick SmackDown off with the new World Heavyweight Champion, Christian. I don't think Orton/Christian is over just yet due to the cheap ending during their match at Money in the Bank. Sheamus as a face could be interesting, even if it is possibly for only one night. Wade Barrett going over his former Corre stablemate in Justin Gabriel is a fine opener. I liked you bringing up Wade's past with Bryan when he was apart of the Nexus. Wouldn't actually mind seeing a Wade/Bryan feud for the World Championship, however, not right now since Christian needs a good lengthy run as champion. Decent win for Khali and Mahal over The Usos, I suppose. Not really a fan of Curtis mentioning Kaval in his segment since it wouldn't happen on television. Other than that, I hope you actually debut Curtis sooner rather than later as these promos have went on long enough. Sucks that Cody lost but it was needed here as Bryan had to win his first match following winning the Money in the Bank match. Zeke over Slater was predictable. A.J. getting the win over Alicia wasn't really the best of moves. While I'm glad A.J. won the bout, WWE have showed signs of pushing Alicia Fox as of late judging from spoilers so to have her lose to A.J. is weird. Predictable result for a solid main event. Sounded like a good match. Wonder if you'll go with a 4 way at SummerSlam? Good stuff.

Nice opening promo to establish Christian as the new champion and to set up the main event. Barrett defeating Gabriel is fine. Nice little promo from Barrett after the match, wouldn't mind a feud between him and Bryan. Mahal and Khali going over the Usos is fine, I suppose. But I really hate how buried the Usos have become. Solid promo coming from Orton and Henry there, seems quite interesting where you are going with all of this... Bryan defeating Rhodes is fine by me. Decent match. Jackson then going over Slater so easil is great. A.J. defeating Alicia Fox is fine, I hate Fox. So I don't mind it one bit. Christian defeating Sheamus in the main event is predictable and fine, liking the aftermath and now I anticipate a fatal four way. Solid show.

-Sheamus and Christian will have a good main event tonight. Lots of possible angles for the World Title Match at SummerSlam. -I love the idea of Barrett vs. Gabriel. Barrett going over is the best way to go. -Mahal and Khali going over is the best way to go. Push the Usos, please. -Orton vs. Henry at SummerSlam should be amazing. Looking forward to that. -Christian over Sheamus is a good main event. A Fatal Four Way Match at SummerSlam is how I see things coming.

WWE Monday Night RAW - Monday 25th July 2011

Hamption, Virginia - Hampton Coliseum

21:00-21:02: A replay from last week's episode of RAW aired, as it showcased a very important change in WWE management. Vince McMahon showed a lot of insanity, firing John Cena, heckling the capacity crowd of Green Bay and then attempting to retrieve the WWE Championship from CM Punk, almost having him escorted from the building until the Chairman was greeted by his son-in-law, Triple H. Triple H came to the ring and revealed concerns by the Board of Directors regarding Vince's decisions as of late, and soon it was revealed that Hunter had been placed in McMahon's position as Chairman, whilst Vince was now out of a job. 21:02-21:11 We kick off RAW tonight as the theme of the "Awesome One" hit, The Miz making his way out to the capacity crowd in attendance in Hampton, Virginia. The Miz came to the ring in his suit and took the microphone, the "Awesome One" beginning to talk about how much things in the WWE seem to be changing in such a short time. Miz mentions that he has been having a year of success, he was one of the best WWE Championship in sports entertainment history, he was awesome, everybody loved to see him. Not John Cena, not Rey Mysterio, not even Triple H! Miz talks about how Triple H is meant to be the new Chairman, and to be totally honest, he sees it all to be a task for him to overcome all odds to get to where he was under Vince McMahon's leadership. Miz notes that Triple H was one of those in the back, that would mock everything he did. But that's all jealousy! Miz was on the rise, and Triple H was sizzling out on the SmackDown brand; these fans had the boos and the cheers the wrong way round! The Miz was quickly cut off by the theme of Alex Riley, as the fans cheered, the former protegé of the Miz making his way out to the ring. Riley took a microphone and told Miz that if he wanted, he could take Miz down and not give him any opportunity to stand again. But he's going to hear him out. Riley tells Miz that he doesn't like him, and he definitely knows that Miz doesn't like him. But what Miz did last Monday night on RAW was a hilarious idea, A-Ry got his ass kicked, but now it opens up a world of possibilties, indeed. He tells Miz that he has an idea, and that is 'beat Miz's ass' whenever the hell A-Ry himself decides! Miz looks confused and tells Riley that he'd love to play games with him, but he's gonna be busy tonight, because he's taking on Rey Mysterio. Riley accepted that fact, warning Miz that he would be targeting, because he hasn't forgotten last week! Suddenly, the email tone was heard, and Michael Cole stood at the podium, revealing that the Anonymous RAW General Manager has decided that as a result of A-Ry's threats, and the ratings these two men bring to the table every time they fight, he's decided that these two will compete at SummerSlam, and it will be their final encounter; the loser must leave RAW, and quite frankly, can do whatever they please on SmackDown, or somewhere else. The crowd cheered, as Miz looked annoyed, beginning to leave! 21:12-21:15: Commercial Break 21:15-21:16: An advertisement aired, promoting WWE SummerSlam, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, August 14th 2011 from Los Angeles, California. 21:16-21:17: We see a limousine out in the parking lot, as Michael Cole began to celebrate, with the idea that perhaps Vince McMahon was here! The camera soon zoomed into the license plate though, reading 'HHHCHA1R', causing Cole to shut up. Jerry Lawler talked about how tonight could change the face of the company! 21:17-21:26: R-Truth def. Kofi Kingston A hot opening contest, as R-Truth came out with a sign above his head reading 'Re-Hire McMahon', R-Truth still believing that he was held under conspiracy from every 'Little Jimmy' out there. Kofi Kingston got in several kicks, the former WWE United States Champion causing Truth to back off on more than one occasion. Truth soon went to work on the back of the "Jamaican Sensation", nailing a hangman's neckbreaker and setting up for the Shut Up, Kingston slipping out, swinging for Trouble in Paradise, but Truth ducked it and nailed the Shut Up for the victory! ** 21:24-21:26: R-Truth celebrated his win, as the crowd booed him loudly, the insane R-Truth picking up the microphone and then holding up his sign, telling people to rehire Vince McMahon, because Triple H has no idea what he's doing in this job, that's a fact! Truth tells Hunter that he hopes that he's listening in his limousine, because he knows that he's here. R-Truth is a part of a conspiracy theory set up by the Anonymous RAW General Manager, he has been put in more loops than Sonic the Hedgehog! He should have a contender's spot for sure, he's beaten John Cena, the WWE Champion at the time, and he's one of the best guys RAW has to offer! Make the right decision, Triple H, make R-Truth WWE Champion tonight! 21:26-21:27: Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole discuss what just occurred, as they showed a graphic of the new Chairman of the WWE, Triple H holding the WWE Championship, and tonight, he will rectify the issue the company has with its WWE Championship! 21:27-21:29: Another replay from last week's RAW aired, as it showed the Triple H, Vince McMahon and CM Punk promo in a video package format, all set to hype up Hunter's first major changes to make in the WWE! 21:29-21:33: Commercial Break 21:33-21:35: We see Alberto Del Rio grinning in the backstage area, as Del Rio was standing by with Josh Mathews, Mathews asking the Mexican Aristocrat about his match tonight against Evan Bourne. Del Rio tells Josh that it doesn't matter what he has to do tonight, because the fact of the matter is, all he does from now until he decides to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase is useless. He does exactly what he wants, why? Because of him being Mr Money in the Bank. And whomever the WWE Champion is tonight, he'll be sure to keep an eye on who to make the move on. Del Rio was then interrupted by Rey Mysterio, as Del Rio told the 'little Mexican child' that it was nice seeing him. Not that many people can. Rey told Alberto that he can try to cash in whenever he likes, but sooner or later karma will strike Del Rio in the face, and he'll be left with nothing. Del Rio told Rey to get his Bugs Life face out of his way, because he's got a match on tonight. 21:35-21:41: Michael McGillicutty and David Otunga def. Zack Ryder and Santino Marella in a non-title match Another effort by Zack Ryder, as the "Woo Woo Woo Kid" decided to pick Santino Marella in this week's attempt at knocking off a victory against the WWE Tag Team Champions. The "A-List" and McGillicutty have certainly adapted new personalities since the New Nexus disbanded when CM Punk left, and it showed tonight. McGillicutty took down Marella, but Marella got the tag to Ryder, Zack Ryder clearing house, then the match took a chaotic turn, as all four men ended up in the ring, Otunga and Marella legal, Ryder nailed the Rough Ryder on McGillicutty and Marella covered, but Otunga was the legal one, the A-List Slam getting the champions the win! *1/2 21:41-21:42: The crowd booed as David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty celebrated their win, Zack Ryder slowly recovering, as he couldn't believe that him and Santino Marella had also failed to defeat the WWE Tag Team Champions. The fans cheered Ryder as he left, without Marella tonight. Back to the drawing board for the "Long Island Iced Z". 21:42-21:45: Commercial Break 21:45-21:46: Triple H was shown arriving at the Hampton Coliseum, as the fans roared, the audio muted so we couldn't hear a thing from the new Chairman, we will just have to wait until later tonight. 21:46-21:48: A video package for John Morrison aired, as the "Shaman of Sexy" was shown showcasing his parkour abilities in action, as he has had an epic run in the WWE since his debut in 2004. Morrison was promoted as being better than ever, and it showed a lot of R-Truth attacking the "Monday Night Delight" last Spring. The "Monday Night Delight" is coming back! 21:48-21:57: Alberto Del Rio def. Evan Bourne A great match was about to happen, as this match went through a Commercial Break. Evan Bourne showcased a different style to the fast, yet technical pace of Alberto Del Rio, and Bourne darted around the ring, a standing headscissors to Del Rio as well as a la magistral to almost try and get a cover over Mr Money in the Bank! Del Rio soon cut Bourne off and went to work away at the arm of Bourne, also keeping him down where he cannot do any serious harm to him. The Mexican Aristocrat had Bourne locked in a backbreaking stretch, holding Bourne over his knee and bending the spine of Bourne. Evan soon fired back though, a dropkick catching Del Rio full on in the face! Bourne was slower, but he went up to the top and prepared Air Bourne, Del Rio getting his knees up but Bourne landing on his feet and kicked Del Rio in the gut, Del Rio ducking an enzuigiri, Del Rio applying the Cross Armbreaker for the win! **1/4 21:57-21:58: Alberto Del Rio celebrated his win to loud boos, as Mr Money in the Bank had done it, finishing off Evan Bourne. Ricardo Rodriguez handed Del Rio his briefcase, as Del Rio taunted this capacity crowd, showing it off and telling everybody that he will be WWE Champion! Del Rio left, as Jerry Lawler and the Hampton crowd applauded Bourne's effort. 21:58-22:01: Commercial Break 22:01-22:04: John Cena was shown in the backstage area, as the crowd cheered and booed Cena, Scott Stanford standing by with the former WWE Champion and asking Cena about Triple H now being in charge of the WWE. Cena told Stanford that Hunter is a much more tolerable man than his father-in-law, and so he welcomes it, he welcomes change and he believes that Triple H will bring the WWE into a new era. Cena then began to talk about the WWE Championship picture, and how he has been re-signed by Hunter, which he appreciates a lot. And to be honest, he's not going to make a guess as to whom the WWE Champion is made tonight, because that's the thrill of making a surprise, on Monday Night RAW! Cena was then confronted by R-Truth, as he still had his sign in hand. Truth holding it up, and Cena shook his head in shame and left. R-Truth told Stanford that it's a conspiracy to not allow him interview time. He deserves the WWE Championship. And if Triple H doesn't give it to him, he's going to hunt him down! He is not gonna get okie-doked by Little Jimmy one more time! 22:04-22:09: Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly def. The Bella Twins This was an interesting tag team match between the Divas, as the "Glamazon" will be challenging her tag team partner for tonight, Kelly Kelly, for the WWE Divas Championship at SummerSlam in only three weeks time. Nikki and Brie used their Twin Magic as the referee's back was turned, keeping Kelly away from Beth. Phoenix powered Nikki around upon getting the hot tag, and just like that, the Glam Slam gave Beth and Kelly victory. *1/4 22:09-22:10: Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly's arms with raised victorious, whilst the Bella Twins rolled out of the ring, and their Twin Magic as unsuccessful tonight. The "Glamazon" stared at Kelly, as Kelly looked back, Beth Phoenix not being an easy opponent for Kelly to face at SummerSlam for that WWE Divas Championship! 22:10-22:13: Commercial Break 22:13-22:19: Chris Masters def. Dolph Ziggler (w/Vickie Guerrero and Drew McIntyre) in a non-title match The "Masterpiece" hasn't been seen on RAW in recent weeks, as Chris Masters took on the WWE United States Champion in quite a clash of styles, Dolph Ziggler coming out to his new 'Perfection' theme. Drew McIntyre accompanied Dolph out to the ring with Vickie, McIntyre wearing his suit tonight, seemingly tolerant of Ziggler this week. Masters was worked over as Ziggler tried to slap on that Sleeper Hold quickly, Ziggler getting easily overpowered, and Masters applied the Masterlock! Vickie pulled on Masters' foot through the ropes, and Masters seemed angry, Ziggler trying to get away, and McIntyre stood up on the apron! Ziggler told McIntyre to get down, and as the official was with Vickie, McIntyre punched Ziggler! Masters applied the Masterlock, and Ziggler tapped! *3/4 22:19-22:21: Chris Masters celebrated his win as the "Masterpiece" began to leave, Dolph Ziggler being attended to by Vickie Guerrero, Vickie getting into a shouting match with a smug Drew McIntyre! McIntyre stood silent as Vickie continued to yell, McIntyre getting cheered, and as soon as Dolph Ziggler got to his feet, McIntyre planted the WWE United States Champion with the Future Shock DDT! The fans cheered as McIntyre left, Vickie viciously angry in the ring. 22:21-22:23: Another vignette aired, promoting Andy Leavine, the man who won WWE Tough Enough this past Spring/Summer. It showed some comments from the Tough Enough trainers, and Andy Leavine proved that he truly is Tough Enough, currently training down in Florida Championship Wrestling for his debut. WWE Tough Enough Season 2 debuts this Fall on USA! 22:23-22:26: Commercial Break 22:26-22:38: Rey Mysterio def. The Miz A solid main event, as the "Awesome One" had to be on edge in case of an attack from former client, Alex Riley. Miz tried to dodge Mysterio and his high-flying antics, as Miz tried to keep the match at a steady pace, a pace in which he was unable to keep. The luchadore swung Miz around the ring and took him out with ease, a wheelbarrow bulldog and tornado DDT taking Miz down, Mysterio with several springboard attacks as well to take Miz out. Rey had Miz set up for the 619 on two occasions, both of which Miz took Rey out with the heavy clothesling. Miz pounded away at Mysterio, the "Awesome One" wanting to get this one over with. He eventually attempted the Skull Crushing Finale, but Rey rolled through and cradled Miz, getting a near fall. Miz tried the Skull Crushing Finale again, but A-Ry's theme hit! Miz tossed Rey away, awaiting Riley to appear, just for Rey to send Miz into the ropes, the 619 and springboard splash getting Rey the victory! ** 22:38-22:41: Rey Mysterio celebrated his win, as Alex Riley soon appeared hopping over the barricade, A-Ry climbing into the ring and high-fiving Mysterio, Riley picking the Miz up and giving him the Implant DDT! Riley quickly tossed Miz out and sent him flying into the announce table, Riley picking up a chair and smashing it across the spine of the "Awesome One"! Miz was out cold as Riley picked Miz up, standing on the table with him, and he tried giving Miz the Implant DDT through the announce table, just for Miz to low blow Riley and run through the crowd, Riley in hot persuit! Riley and Miz exchanged blows as the fans around them cheered, Miz trying to escape up the tiered section, Riley swinging for the Miz and accidentally taking out a fan! A-Ry aided to the fan as Miz escaped! 22:41-22:41: Triple H was shown in the backstage area, and the new Chairman of the WWE will be out here momentarily in his introductory speech, live on RAW, next! 22:41-22:44: Commercial Break 22:44-22:44: Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler discussed the carnage that had just occurred, and how the fan suffered a black eye at the hands of Alex Riley, Lawler condoning A-Ry for the accident, whereas Cole talked about how he had it in for him, an innocent fan and Riley had to get rid of his temper. We then cut outside of the Hampton Virginia, where Riley was being escorted out to a police car following the accident, so the Virginian police could carry out the investigation. 22:44-22:58: The theme of Triple H hit, and out came the Chairman of the WWE, Triple H making his way to the ring in his suit, the fans cheering for the new boss in the WWE. Triple H got into the ring and told everybody that he was now in charge, and everybody knows the drill, because it is now time for a new era in the company. Hunter mentions how sudden this situation is, and to be totally honest, he has SO many ideas that he wants to do to regenerate this company. Because it is in a slumberous season, and things definitely need to heat up. Triple H mentions the WWE Championship, and how CM Punk, the man that previously people weren't allowed to mention, walked out with the title. At that moment, the theme of John Cena hit to a loud pop, Cena making his way to the ring. Cena told Hunter that he didn't want to rush out here and make out that he was a kissass, but he hated Vince McMahon, and he's happy to see his old rival here as the Chairman. Cena tells Hunter to remember that it was in fact him who was the WWE Champion, the representative of the company against the leaving CM Punk. Hunter then cut Cena off, thanking him for all of these compliments, but Cena is also the man that failed to retain the title from the now uncontracted WWE Champion, CM Punk at Money in the Bank. Next, R-Truth's catchphrase played, and out came R-Truth sporting the 'Re-Hire McMahon' sign. R-Truth came to the ring and told Triple H that he can't help but feel that he's been screwed over time after time! What does he need to prove? R-Truth tells Hunter that he has been screwed by that damn Anonymous RAW General Manager, and he wants Triple H to prove his sign wrong, and fire him and put R-Truth as the top dog in the company, as WWE Champion! Hunter tells R-Truth that he can't do that. Why? R-Truth is insane! R-Truth's eyes start popping out of his head, as Triple H mentions that he looks like he's about to kill a bug, he's out of his mind. He tells R-Truth that he's aware that Truth beat Cena several weeks ago on RAW in a Tables match, but that ain't gonna cut it either! R-Truth talks to some voices around him as if he was talking to himself, about how he couldn't believe Hunter was doing this to him, joining in on this conspiracy. Triple H then talks to his imaginary friends, telling R-Truth in a way that he's crazy if he's gonna push Truth, especially with that damn 'Re-Hire McMahon' sign! And then suddenly, Alberto Del Rio's theme hit, the fans booing as Mr Money in the Bank made his way out to the ring, no car this time tonight. Del Rio told Triple H that he was happy to see him as the new Chairman in this company. He tells Hunter that he has a persuasive technique to use, to make him make the Mexican Aristocrat the WWE Champion, and that is, regardless of whom he makes WWE Champion tonight, Del Rio will be the man to cash in that briefcase and win it immediately with the Cross-Armbreaker. Rey Mysterio's theme then hit as well, Mysterio making his way out to the ring, and Rey got into the ring, talking about how Rey doesn't care who the WWE Champion is, because he's the sort've man that fights and fights, and EARNS the title belt he's chasing. He tells Triple H to choose R-Truth or John Cena, but not Del Rio, if anything, he's here to protest against the Mexican Aristocrat, and be the karma that Del Rio deserves! R-Truth then tells Rey and Del Rio to get out of his his business, and then Cena got involved, a big brawl beginning! The fans cheered as Cena and R-Truth exchanged blows, Del Rio and Mysterio as well! Triple H stood on the apron watching, as Del Rio tossed Mysterio out of the ring, and then teamed up with Truth to clothesline Cena out of the ring too! Truth and Del Rio brawled in the ring, when suddenly the "Cult of Personality" hit! Cena looked at the entrance way, confused as to whom this may be, and then suddenly out came CM Punk! The "Straight Edge Messiah" stood on the entrance ramp, WWE Championship around his waist, and Triple H put his hand forward, Punk grinning at Cena whilst Cena looked angry! R-Truth and Del Rio seemed shocked as well, as CM Punk had returned to Monday Night RAW!

Monday Night Raw; Good opening segment with The Miz and Alex Riley, and I think Miz needs the victory at SummerSlam, and Alex Riley would benefit from being on SmackDown, where he technically should be in the first place. Pleased to see R-Truth over Kofi Kingston, and how he is demanding the WWE Championship. A good win for the WWE Tag Team Champions here, and I could see a similar storyline to The Brian Kendrick with Ryder having lots of partners. Alberto Del Rio over Evan Bourne is obvious. Love R-Truth and the "Re-hire McMahon" sign. Obvious victory for Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly as they are in the Divas Championship Match at SummerSlam. I hope Phoenix wins, because while I like Kelly, she's not as good as Beth. Shocked to see Chris Masters over Dolph Ziggler, but I love what Drew McIntyre did. Similar to what I did in my diary. It's hard to see McIntyre as a face, but I think it could work. Happy that Rey Mysterio won here, and the brawl between Alex Riley and The Miz was good too. Busy closing segment, but good nonetheless. CM Punk's arrival was obviously going to happen, and of course "you did it first". Overall, a pretty good show.

Hopefully this week's RAW is better than the last, tbh. The Miz and A Ry starting the show off is somewhat odd. Thank God the feud will be ending at SummerSlam, although it should've ended a long time ago. I see The Miz going to Smackdown to give them some star power. Good match between Truth and Kingston. One thing though; why would Kofi be called the Jamaican Sensation when he's billed from Africa now? Truth demanding a title shot is great, and I hope he gets one. Funny segment with Del Rio and Mysterio, I really hope you don't have Del Rio cash in unsuccessfully though. Ok tag team match I guess. You really need some help in the tag team division. Maybe bring back the Hart Dynasty? Anything could work, really. Del Rio/Bourne was good stuff, of course Del Rio picked up the win. R-Truth has been great on this show, I can definitely see him getting a title push now. Diva's tag team match is no surprise, seems like that's all they have these days. Please give Phoenix the title at SummerSlam. Not too happy that Ziggler lost, but it does further his feud with McIntyre. Hopefully the two face for the US title at SummerSlam. Very good main event, The Miz and Mysterio's match was good in real life so no surprise you decided to do that for this show. Riley distracting the Miz to give Mysterio the win was nice, and the brawl at the end was great. The ending to RAW was pretty good, wish we would've gotten some insight on what Triple H has planned with the WWE Championship, but it still has me wondering what will happen on the next RAW. All I can say is, this week's RAW was MUCH MUCH better than the previous one and this diary is slowly but surely getting good. Keep it up, Dan, I'm liking this.

WHAT YOU DIDN'T SEE ON RAW; ROH STARS WORK TRYOUT; RUMORS Posted by Joe B. on Tuesday, 26/07/11 at 6:23am
-- CM Punk returning to RAW last night was to reflect his ROH run, especially with the "Cult of Personality" as his theme song. Punk signed a short-term contract extension and is now expected to leave following SummerSlam. Punk has however spoken positively about coming back sooner than later nearer the end of the year.
-- After RAW went off the air, CM Punk teamed with R-Truth and Alberto Del Rio against John Cena, Rey Mysterio and Alex Riley. Mysterio got the win at 8:45 following the 619 on R-Truth.
-- Vince McMahon has officially retired from an on-screen role. McMahon has also allowed Triple H sole Chairmanship of the WWE, with Vince working in some areas still. This is all part of the method to advance Triple H's ideas of what goes on when he officially becomes sole Chairman of the WWE.
-- Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli, known as the Kings of Wrestling in ROH, worked a match with each other moments before the doors opened in the Hampton Coliseum last night. The match happened before only agents, and it should be interesting as to what the road agents thought of it

WWE NXT: Season 6 - Tuesday 26th July 2011

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Wells Fargo Center

22:00-22:02: A brand new season of NXT kicked off with a new video package presenting to us the new cast of NXT Season 6! We cut to the Wells Fargo Center to loud cheers as Todd Grisham and William Regal welcomed us to the first show of NXT: Season 6! 22:02-22:08: Matt Striker was shown standing in the ring, Striker noting that he has been appointed the full time Host of NXT this season, before talking about the different talents we have on this show, and how this season, the show will be more training orientated! Twenty episodes long, and every week we will not be using the Pro's Poll, but the ladder will determine who goes home, or who stays! A new ladder standing will appear every week on WWE.com, after NXT goes off the air, and the man who is last on the ladder will be eliminated, in four episodes time! Striker introduces the Rookies, as Hunico appears to quite a small pop, the masked luchadore going to be quite an interesting factor in this competition. Bo Rotundo followed, the brother of WWE superstar, Husky Harris. Aaron Stevens came next, looking quite annoyed, Grisham revealing that Stevens had waited ten years to finally get on WWE television. Richie Steamboat appeared, the son of Hall of Famer, Ricky Steamboat. With all Rookies in the ring, suddenly when Seth Rollins came to the ring, he had a microphone, and he talked about how he could simply follow this trend of genericness on NXT, or he could make his own trend! Rollins told Striker that he has been an unentertaining Host since the beginning, he remembers when he gave this show a shot, whilst working the independent circuit, and he bored the pants off of him! He told the fans that he was better than every Rookie in that ring. Rollins asked Richie how he was original from his father, because his father wasn't as great as everyone thought he was! Suddenly, Titus O'Neill stepped forward, telling Rollins that he can talk all of this trash and say that because he was on the independent circuit wrestling all over the world, but he isn't going to get anywhere on NXT! Titus tells Rollins that he has been here for twenty weeks already, and it was the toughest work of his life! O'Neill challenges Rollins to a match tonight, as Striker seemed interested, confirming it! Striker then revealed that next week, we will also see a Rookies battle royal, and the winner will be able to choose his Pro! The rest of the Pros will be determined next week! 22:08-22:12: Commercial Break 22:12-22:18: Aaron Stevens def. Bo Rotundo Aaron Stevens was previously on WWE television as a part of Michelle McCool's tag team, 'Idol Stevens and KC James', almost winning the WWE Tag Team Championships in 2005. Stevens worked away at the neck of Bo, Rotundo getting the crowd's cheers as Rotundo stepped his foot in and took Stevens down with a spear, Rotundo then preparing a move he called 'Bo-Dazzeled', a double underhook lifting facebuster, just for Stevens to break out of it and reverse it into the Idolizer (a snap swinging neckbreaker) for the win! *1/2 22:18-22:19: Aaron Stevens celebrated his win as the crowd booed, Stevens taking a microphone and stating how he didn't care who his opponent was, he was only here to get what he deserved all of those years ago in the WWE, and that was glory! 22:19-22:22: Commercial Break 22:22-22:24: A video package aired, showcasing Hunico's previous work, particularly in FCW. Hunico speaks no English, so Matt Striker did a majority of the talking, describing Hunico's take-no, give-all attitude. 22:24-22:27: Commercial Break 22:27-22:34: Leakee Anoa'i def. Richie Steamboat Leakee Anoa'i had a good group of boos going into this one, as he took on the much smaller Richie Steamboat. Steamboat flew around the ring, much like his father used to do every night of the week across America, several kicks, armdrags and springboard moves connecting. Leakee overpowered Steamboat with ease though, a sixty pound difference in weight, and Leakee delivered several backbreakers to Richie, Anoa'i connecting with a flying forearm, Anoa'i then giving Steamboat the Samoan drop for the win! *1/4 22:34-22:35: A dominant win for Leakee Anoa'i, as Anoa'i had just simply demolished the son of Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat tonight! Anoa'i proved he was definitely part of the Anoa'i wrestling family, as Leakee had just proven. 22:35-22:37: A video package aired, promoting Xavier Woods in the ring, and how much of an oddball performer he was, Woods being a solid talent. Woods, at 220lbs with a smash-mouth, high-flying style, could very well win this season of NXT! 22:37-22:40: Commercial Break 22:40-22:46: Seth Rollins def. Titus O'Neill (w/Hornswoggle) Seth Rollins went right into this match with several high-flying moves, Titus O'Neill having more of a power advantage of the former independent sensation. O'Neill tossed Rollins around the ring, Titus closing in for the Clash of the Titus, but Rollins sent O'Neill into the ropes with the hurricanrana around the waist, Rollins catching Titus with the Avada Kedavra for the win! ** 22:46-22:47: Seth Rollins celebrated his win to boos, as Rollins had just proved that he was not just talk, he was action as well! Rollins had knocked off a victory against the NXT Redemption winner, Titus O'Neill, and Titus was stunned! Hornswoggle aided to Titus as Rollins began to leave. 22:47-22:59: A replay from RAW aired: The theme of Triple H hit, and out came the Chairman of the WWE, Triple H making his way to the ring in his suit, the fans cheering for the new boss in the WWE. NXT goes off the air.

WWE NXT; Interesting opening segment. O'Neill versus Rollins should be good, and I like the Battle Royal next week for a Pro choice, definitely a unique way of giving them Pros this season. Not very familiar with Aaron Stevens, but I have seen some of his work. Good victory over Bo Rotunda who quite frankly I'm not a fan of. Shocking loss for Richie Steamboat! But Leakee does look impressive from what I've seen of him. I'm a big Titus O'Neill fan, because I like to regularly "make it a win", but I'm pleased to see Seth Rollins go over here, because that man has potential, and he's a definite shoe-in for this season's winner. A typical close for NXT with the Raw replay to round off. Interesting episode some good development, I enjoyed it.

| WWE Superstars - Thursday 21st July 2011 |

Hampton, Virginia | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

20:00-20:01: The opening video package for WWE Superstars aired, and we cut to the Hampton Coliseum for the RAW portion of the show, Scott Stanford and Josh Mathews welcoming us to the show. 20:01-20:08: Curt Hawkins def. David Hart Smith This was the first time we have seen David Hart Smith in a few months, as the former Hart Dynasty member took on a former WWE Tag Team Champion in his own right, as Hawkins showed a lot of arrogance throughout, several cheap tactics being used to keep Smith down and grounded. Smith was in a bad way, but he soon fired back, using his raw animal strength to gorilla press slam Hawkins, then setting up for the Running Powerslam, Hawkins slipping out and delivering a hangman's facebuster, Hawkins going up and nailing the Heat-Seeking Elbow for the win! *3/4 20:08-20:09: Curt Hawkins celebrated his win, as the ever-confident young man from New York was victorious against a second generation superstar tonight on Superstars! 20:09-20:12: Commercial Break 20:12-20:13: We go to the backstage corridor as Tyson Kidd was shown talking to the make-up artist about how good he wants to look out there. Kidd then pushed it aside as he stood up and confronted his former Hart Dynasty partner, David Hart Smith. Kidd asks Smith if that's what he's still doing. Kidd talks about how his career is slowly jetting off, and Smith can't even win his first match on television in months! Kidd wishes Smith luck moving up in the world, because Tyson Kidd, was moving up in the universe. Kidd left, Smith looking angry. 20:13-20:22: Mason Ryan (w/JTG) def. Vladimir Kozlov (w/Santino Marella) Vladimir Kozlov was the first opponent of Mason Ryan, Ryan recently becoming the new bodyguard, or 'bouncer' for the arrogant JTG. JTG and Kozlov had history from having a few matches on NXT Redemption, but Ryan proved to be so dominant against Kozlov. Kozlov had a couple of takedowns, using some mat-based abilities as well as a powerful big boot taking Ryan down to the ringside area. But Ryan turned it around, as Kozlov tried to go for the Iron Curtain, Ryan powered out with outstanding strength and turned it into the House of Pain for the win. *1/2 20:22-20:23: Mason Ryan celebrated his win with JTG, as the villainous "Neighborhoodie" started stomping away at Vladimir Kozlov after the bell, Santino Marella stepping in, the Cobra connecting to JTG! Ryan took Marella out with a powerful clothesline though, Ryan and JTG leaving in dominant fashion. 20:23-20:26: Commercial Break 20:26-20:40: A replay from RAW aired The theme of Triple H hit, and out came the Chairman of the WWE, Triple H making his way to the ring in his suit, the fans cheering for the new boss in the WWE. 20:40-20:43: Commercial Break 20:43-20:43: Matt Striker and Jack Korpela welcome us to the SmackDown portion of Superstars. 20:43-20:49: Alicia Fox def. Eve This was interpromotional action with the divas, as Alicia Fox has proven herself as of late to be quite a force in the womens division. Eve took Fox down with several armdrags and used her agility to get the better of Alicia, but Fox's wit managed to ground Eve with ease, Fox preparing the Scissors Kick, but Eve dodged it, a spear connecting, and as Eve went for her top rope Moonsault, Fox got her knees up, cradling Eve for the three. 3/4 20:49-20:50: Alicia Fox celebrated her win as Eve remained on the floor, Fox taking quite the dominant stand against the RAW diva tonight. 20:50-20:51: An advertisement aired, promoting WWE SummerSlam, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, August 14th 2011 from Los Angeles, California. 20:51-20:58: Justin Gabriel def. Tyson Kidd These two are definitely two of SmackDown's best, as Gabriel came out to a decent reaction to take on the ever so cocky Tyson Kidd. We saw David Hart Smith and Kidd exchange words earlier tonight, and this was Kidd's time to back it up, the last survivor of the Hart Dungeon in Calgary mixing Gabriel up with some spinal-based submissions, trying to knock the air out of Gabriel. The South-African managed to fire back though, Tyson running at Gabriel, and Kidd ate a discus elbow smash! Gabriel went up and nailed the 450 splash, getting the win! **1/4 20:58-20:59: Tyson Kidd rolled out of the ring, as the South-African Sensation, Justin Gabriel was victorious tonight on WWE Superstars. Superstars went off the air.

WWESuperstars: I love your layout with the times, you can pull it off really well. Curt Hawkins going over in the opening contest is fine, decent lengthed match too. David Hart Smith should be gone within the next year, unfortunately. Decent segment featuring Kidd and Smith. However I'm doubting it'll lead to anything, unfortunately. I like Ryan being used as JTG's 'bouncer' but Mason should be doing much more in my eyes. I'm glad he went over Kozlov, who has fell tremendously over the years. Santino hitting the Cobra is fine to please the kiddies in the audience. The RAW replay is realistic, glad it wasn't in place of the main event though. Honestly, I don't think Alicia vs. Eve was neccessary. You could've had a 13 minutre match between Gabriel and Kidd which would've been much more entertaining. Good main event though, which I'd like to see. I hope Gabriel isn't on SuperStars forever but right now, it's the right place. Good edition of SuperStars.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown - Friday 29th July 2011

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Wells Fargo Center

20:00-20:02: The opening video package for SmackDown aired, and we cut to the Wells Fargo Center for Friday Night SmackDown! Michael Cole, Josh Mathews and Booker T welcome us to the show. 20:02-20:07: The crowd cheered as Tony Chimel introduced the SmackDown General Manager, Theodore Long. Long made his way out to the ring as the General Manager climbed into the ring and talked about how the Road to SummerSlam was on! Last Friday night, we had some controversy in the main event scene, as Christian defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus successfully, but the "Celtic Warrior" showed enough fight to prove himself worthy for another title opportunity in the near future. Unfortunately, last Friday night we saw another situation occur as Randy Orton and Mark Henry got into a brawl, a heated argument over who deserves the next World Heavyweight Championship opportunity. And that leads us to tonight, where Orton, Henry and Sheamus compete in a number one contender's match to go the title at SummerSlam! The fans cheer as Long then talks about how there is also something he wants to announce: last October, SmackDown won the Bragging Rights Trophy, and this year, the pay-per-view Bragging Rights will not be going down! But the Anonymous RAW GM is still fuming over the demise of that pay-per-view, and how he wasn't able to get his brand to win the title. And so he has fairly agreed in the interest of entertainment, a series of matches between RAW and SmackDown superstars in a league category. And the first match is next! With that, the theme of Kane hit, the "Big Red Monster" making his way out to the ring for action in the first Bragging Rights Series match! 20:07-20:08: An advertisement aired, promoting WWE SummerSlam, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, August 14th 2011 from Los Angeles, California. 20:08-20:11: Commercial Break 20:11-20:18: Kane def. R-Truth in the Bragging Rights Series The first match in the series, as the Anonymous RAW General Manager booked R-Truth to take on SmackDown's Kane. The "Big Red Monster" easily took down R-Truth with several powerful moves, Truth becoming intimidated by Kane's attacks, and decided to hang out at ringside, Kane soon coming after him, just for R-Truth to drop toe hold Kane right into the steel steps! R-Truth worked over Kane and kept him down before R-Truth ran for the Shut Up, Kane cutting him off and grabbing him by the throat! R-Truth was given the Chokeslam, giving SmackDown the first edge in the Bragging Rights Series! *3/4 20:18-20:20: Kane celebrated his win and began to leave, whilst R-Truth remained in the ring, recovering from the Chokeslam. R-Truth picked up a microphone, the RAW superstar talking about how it seems like SmackDown's General Manager is also in on this conspiracy against him! R-Truth asked for them to not screw around with the Truth, because justice is served sweetly, and R-Truth will get some well deserved retribution. He talks to himself, before suddenly the theme of the "Guru of Greatness" hit, and out came John Morrison! R-Truth looked angry as he threw down the microphone and left, telling the fans to stop booing him, R-Truth leaving through the crowd. 20:20-20:21: A video package aired, based around Justin Gabriel and how he grew to become a WWE superstar. He talked about the recent South African tour, going home and getting so very appreciated by the fans in his home country. 20:21-20:24: Commercial Break 20:24-20:25: We returned to SmackDown as A.J. was shown talking to Tyson Kidd, as A.J. soon turned to come face to face with Natalya. She was stood with Kaitlyn, as Natalya told A.J. that she really needs to keep concentrated, because she cannot trust that man, he is just making her lose concentration. A.J. accepted this, as Natalya told her to get ready for her tag team match with Kaitlyn against Rosa Mendes and Tamina. 20:25-20:33: Ezekiel Jackson def. Ted Dibiase (w/Cody Rhodes) in a non-title match by disqualification The WWE Intercontinental Champion has certainly been dominant ever since winning his title last June at Capitol Punishment, but here he was taking on Ted Dibiase, accompanied as always by the ever-bitter "Undashing" Cody Rhodes. Dibiase managed to put a few punches to Zeke, but Jackson had total control of Dibiase in the opening moments of this match. Zeke tossed Ted around the ring with ease until Cody Rhodes' appearance at ringside distracted the big man. The "Personification of Domination" targeted Cody but Dibiase dove in at the ring moment, stomping away at Big Zeke, Dibiase trying to nail the Dream Street on the big man, Zeke getting Ted on his shoulders for the Torture Rack in a reversal, but Cody Rhodes suddenly came into the ring, spraying Zeke in the eyes with hairspray! ** 20:33-20:34: Ezekiel Jackson was blinded by Cody Rhodes, as the "Undashing One" followed up with the Cross Rhodes on the WWE Intercontinental Champion! Cody held the title up before leaving with Ted Dibiase, Cody still scheduled to compete later tonight. 20:34-20:35: We see the "World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry walking through the backstage area, and later tonight, this man will be one of three contenders to the World Heavyweight Championship aiming for a title opportunity at SummerSlam. 20:35-20:38: Commercial Break 20:38-20:39: Todd Grisham was standing by with Wade Barrett in the backstage area, as the European talked about how he had seen about enough of Daniel Bryan. Why? Because he is an overrated little chump. His Money in the Bank briefcase should be his, and he won that match via a fluke. That valuable briefcase should be in his possession, not Daniel's, and he'll be keeping an eye on Bryan for his positives and negatives later tonight in his match with Christian. 20:39-20:40: Cody Rhodes was shown walking with a vengeance backstage, as Ted Dibiase caught up with his "Undashing" partner, Ted asking Cody what that was all about. Cody told Ted that he had had enough of nobody being able to take him seriously. He feels obliged for a title shot, and because Ezekiel Jackson wants to look mean, he has tamed him! If Zeke wants to go after him now, he may do so. But Cody Rhodes proved that he was a lot smarter than the WWE Intercontinental Champion. 20:40-20:57: Daniel Bryan def. Christian in a non-title match Such an interesting situation, as Mr Money in the Bank took on the World Heavyweight Champion in a match that went through a Commercial Break, and if Bryan was to cash in his briefcase during this match, he could potentially cash it in and defeat Christian for the World Heavyweight Championship right here tonight! Bryan was very popular with the Philly crowd, as outwrestled Christian, "Captain Charisma" having to resort to agility to try and calm down the young Daniel Bryan. Bryan managed to apply an armbar on Christian, but Christian managed to roll Bryan up and pound away at him, working over the shoulder of Bryan, Bryan flying right into the ring post shoulder first. Christian decided to finish it with the Killswitch, but Bryan sent Christian into the corner, Bryan rebounding with a rolling clutch roll-up, getting the victory! **1/2 20:57-20:59: Daniel Bryan celebrated his win as Christian looked angry, Mr Money in the Bank kicking Christian right in the head as he tried rushing at Bryan, and Bryan grabbed his Money in the Bank briefcase! Bryan told the official that he wanted to cash it in, but suddenly Wade Barrett ran down the rampway, Barrett trying to attack Bryan from behind! Bryan caught him off-guard and applied the LeBell Lock on Barrett whilst Christian snuck away from the ring with the World Heavyweight Championship! 20:59-21:02: Commercial Break 21:02-21:03: An advertisement aired, revealing that Cee-Lo Green would be performing a live concert during the SummerSlam pay-per-view on August 14th, 2011 from Los Angeles, California. 21:03-21:04: Christian arrived in the backstage area as the World Heavyweight Champion was out of breath, seeing Theodore Long. The SmackDown General Manager commended Christian on a hell of a match, Christian talking about how idiots like Daniel Bryan need to stay away from the belt. Theodore Long told Christian that since Bryan beat him tonight, he must admit that that must give him a rematch for the title! The fans cheered as Christian noted how he had a title match at SummerSlam, why risk it against a fluke-star like Bryan? Long told Christian that next week on SmackDown, Bryan will face Christian one more time, and it won't be Bryan's Money in the Bank cash-in; it will be straight up for the World Heavyweight Championship! Christian looked angry as he stormed off. 21:04-21:07: The RAW Rebound aired, as it showed the build up to Triple H revealing an official WWE Champion, John Cena, Alberto Del Rio, Rey Mysterio and R-Truth all arriving to persuade the new Chairman of the WWE who the WWE Champion should be. A brawl soon began between the four, as suddenly the original WWE Champion, CM Punk made his way out to the entrance ramp, making Cena's intensity level elevate! What will this bring this Monday night on RAW? Tune in, Monday at 9PM Eastern to find out! 21:06-21:09: Rosa Mendes and Tamina def. A.J. and Kaitlyn (w/Natalya) This was another opportunity for the NXT Season 3 ex-Rookies to take on two WWE divas, as Rosa Mendes and A.J. started off, AJ managing to put up a great fight against Mendes, several high-flying moves taking place, one of them being a diving crossbody! A.J. tagged in Kaitlyn, and Kaitlyn tried to follow up, Tamina getting the tag. Tamina sent Kaitlyn into the ropes, and Kaitlyn inadvertently knocked her partner, AJ off the apron! Tamina quickly finished the distracted Kaitlyn off with the Samoan drop for the win. 1/2 21:09-21:10: A.J. looked annoyed at Kaitlyn as she walked out, walking right past Natalya, as Natalya grabbed AJ just for AJ to clothesline Natalya down! A.J. left alone as Kaitlyn remained down, and Rosa Mendes and Tamina continued to celebrate their win. 21:10-21:13: Commercial Break 21:13-21:21: Johnny Curtis def. Yoshi Tatsu This was the official debut of the NXT Season 4 winner, Johnny Curtis as Curtis decided that it was time to start 'cutting the mustard' so to speak, here on WWE's SmackDown brand. Yoshi Tatsu put up a lot more fight than which we have seen recently, Curtis with several dropkicks and especially working away at the abdomen of Tatsu. Curtis kept Tatsu under control, until Tatsu started fighting back, Yoshi with an enziguiri taking Curtis right out of the game. Tatsu went up to the top rope for a spinning heel kick from the top, but Curtis duck and dove for cover, Curtis taking Yoshi's head off with the spinning wheel kick of his own for the win! ** 21:21-21:22: Johnny Curtis celebrated his win in an impressive WWE, as Curtis picked up a microphone and asked the WWE Universe and management if he had finally 'cut the mustard'. Curtis dropped the microphone and left. 21:22-21:24: Heath Slater was shown in the backstage area, as Slater was standing by with Matt Striker, Striker asking Slater what he wanted this interview for. Slater mentioned that he hadn't been booked for competition tonight. And if you knew how angry that makes him, then you'd see why. Justin Gabriel, an inferior tag team partner to him got to compete this week, on Superstars. Heath Slater; nothing. So he wanted to make himself have air-time. And he wants to show Gabriel up, too. This is why next week on SmackDown, he wants to challenge Gabriel to a put up or shut up situation; a match. And when Slater is victorious, we'll see then whose WWE's priority will be set on! 21:24-21:27: Commercial Break 21:27-21:29: Jinder Mahal and the Great Khali were shown watching the show from a skybox up in the tiers of the Wells Fort Center, Jinder talking in Indian and then talking about how opportunity was the key of Indian faith. And Mahal had faith, as did Khali. The two have teamed up to put a stop to all misjustices, and all foulplay that goes on here on SmackDown. And so they are here to climb, and to grow. The fans want some power? Then they will get power when Jinder and Khali show up on SmackDown next week. 21:29-21:30: Sheamus was shown in the backstage area, and up next the "Celtic Warrior" will be one of three men fighting for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, as Sheamus takes on Mark Henry and Randy Orton in a big triple threat main event! 21:30-21:31: The WWE's Anti-Bullying Campaign aired. 21:31-21:53: Randy Orton vs Mark Henry vs Sheamus in a triple threat number one contender's match went to a no-contest An explosive main event in this triple threat encounter, as "Captain Charisma" was shown watching this match from the backstage area, the winner of this match going to SummerSlam to face either Daniel Bryan and Christian. The "World's Strongest Man" traded blows with Sheamus throughout, the two having a lot of beef about superiority. The "Celtic Warrior" teamed with the "Viper" throughout, as Mark Henry was bettered by Randy Orton last week. Sheamus was eventually splashed into the announce table, causing the announcers to have to dive out of the way of the table tipping over; Mark Henry and Randy Orton continuing their battle until Mark took a steel chair and slammed it into the abdomen of Orton! The official threw the match out. **1/4 21:53-21:55: Mark Henry placed a steel chair around the neck of the "Viper" and began to climb the ring steps, perhaps splashing on Orton and breaking his neck with the steel chair much like the "World's Strongest Man" has done previously to the Big Show! But suddenly Sheamus caught Henry as he came off, the Brogue Kick sending Mark down! Christian was shown grinning from the backstage area when suddenly Theodore Long came out, telling the three contenders to stop this carnage! The SmackDown General Manager had a microphone as he revealed that to satisfy everyone, at SummerSlam, Christian will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against all of them in a fatal four way match! Christian was shown looking intimidated from the backstage area, as the crowd cheered, SmackDown going off the air.
