Hey guys, so I've been thinking..
After Comic-Con, I realized that I'm gonna be spending alot of money. Which got me thinking, should I stop? I looked at my collection and thought, "Well, I mostly got everyone I wanted and I'm happy with the attires." And then I decided to continue collecting until I get the ones I want from E11 and 12 and then wait to get new Elite versions of:
Dolph Ziggler
Cody Rhodes
Sin Cara
Heath Slater
Alex Riley
Trent Barretta
All Elite CM Punk's and Cody Rhodes.
...then, I'm done. It's gonna be weird seeing all the new figures knowing I'm no longer collecting. SO do any of you guys plan on one day no longer collecting? Don't get me wrong, I love Mattel figures and don't mean to say buying them are a waste, just I can spend it on better things.. Anyone?

But what will happen when WWE adds new talent to their roster? You're not going to want a figure of the new, up and coming star?

I only collect legends(and throw back style elite figures) and I am uncertain how things are going to work out with legends after comic con. If ordering is easy enough and priced similar to retail I'm in for the long haul. However if prices are sky high and hoops are hung I may opt out of avid collecting.

This isn't a problem for me, I spend like $20 a month on figure because of how hard it is to find good ones here.

I only really look for one definitive figure per wrestler. (Unless its a big favorite like Bret Hart) And there aren't that many new ones coming out just new versions of guys that have already been done. And since legends are Sub only in the states Mattel is actually saving me money.

If the worst comes to the worst then i could probably see myself cutting down and not buying so many figures, otherwise, i doubt i will stop with Elite 11 & 12 out soon and the flashback figures from then on are gonna be awesome !

I could never see myself stopping. I always think I stop. I take breaks from watching and collecting. But I could NEVER truly stop.

I just don't buy any figures (WWE, Star Wars, DCU, ect..) when I cant really afford them or something else has taking priority over them. I'm in art school and I go through supplies constantly which can be very expensive so I do most of my buying when I'm not in school like in the summer and during Christmas.

I think I'm heading in the same direction of cutting back on collecting. I look at my collection sometimes and say what am I really doing with all these figures. Especially with the constant increase in prices. I think I might just stick with picking up some of the "legends" when they are released.

I say to myself also that i'm done collecting and than another series of must have figures comes out. But recently I just really said to myself I'm done trying to collect everything. Lets see how long that last  |

I cut bad a whole lot from when i first started. I could stop today and prob. not care. I guess i am just growing out of it. I still like to see them and look at them just to buy them is a hassle.

nah i enjoy the hobby so i don't want to stop. its kinda annoying having everyone though, makes the wait that much worse.

I don't buy a new figure all of the time. The problem I have is that I see a figure I like and I buy it. That is a problem because I always seem to have some money with me when that happens.

If Legends figures stop or slow right down to just a few per year then yea ill probably quit. I only collect legends, and a small number of new releases couldn't keep me interested .
Right now im making lots of fix ups that i shouldnt be making, im bored with the new small number of legends, if the number drops i may get so bored ill just find another hobby .... but im hoping that doesnt happen

I'm already basicly done. Once I find E9 Ryder, get E11 Punk & Mysterio, E12 Bryan and an Elite Sin Cara (hopefully) I'll pretty much be done. Maybe I'll pick up a few Mysterios & Edge's evey once in a while though. It's just too much money to be spending on figures when there are other things I need to pay for.
