Here's King Haku and navy blue Rick Rude. Adonis with scarfs is on just about every LJN cardback.

WOW. I don't remember LJN's costing $16.99 each. That is crazy for the early 90's.

ouch. that Tito Santa is scary looking. i like the Kamala and Adonis variation. Are there any prototype pics of wrestlers who were never produced once during any of the LJN series?

Not sure, can't see it to well but by the scan it looks like the bossmans hands are switched, the pointing finger is on his left arm in the released version..

Another ljn series was in the works, but things folded up before anything could ever come of it. For what it’s worth, the figures that were slated to be part of this series included: The Bushwhackers, Brother Love, Bad News Brown, The Barbarian and Demolition Smash. the rewas a badnews brown protype made and shown at the toyfair, but it was destoryed or given away. since the internet was not around in 1989 there still has been no pictures on them or the hsabro unreleased figures Brown did a shoot inteview w/ www.pwinsider.com and talked about his career, why his LJN action figure never came out, and calls piper & vince "TOTAL BIGOTS" being a racist had nothing to do w/ unreleased ljn figures From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia about ljns en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wrestling_Superstars

It's amazing how imagination can carry you as a kid. . . . . all I was doing was slaming two think pieces of cardboard together!!

I think LJN are my 3rd favourite. 1. Hasbro then 2. Galoob.
Some may argue about my second choice, but It's what you grew up with.
LJN are looking good

That Mene Gene is incredible. I have been collecting carded and loose LJN's for the past 22 years and I have NEVER seen that figure.
Wow! That is amazing! There looks to be a page number (5422) on the ad. I wonder if that was from a wish book or catalog or something that had 5000 pages!
