Anyone here collecting the Road To WrestleMania cards? I've got some doubles. I figured if anyone else is collecting them maybe I could help you out and unload some doubles at the same time.

Wade Barrett was in Toronto this weekend. He was actually the "expert" for the soccer game that was aired on Sportsnet (a local sports channel) at noon. The Sportsnet studios is a 10 minute walk from me, so a half an hour before noon, I went to the studios hoping I could catch him walking in and get an autograph. It looked like I was too late as it seems like Wade Barrett was already there. Oh well. I went back home and watched the game. At around 2:10, I decide to go back to the studios as the game was almost over.. this time I was hoping I'd catch him walking out. I waited and waited. It was raining and windy which also didn't help. I was waiting by the mini parking lot in between the north and south Rogers buildings. Half an hour later, a black SUV backed up and parked in front of the door. The driver got out and started walking around, I ask him: "Excuse me.. are you Wade Barrett's driver?" and he responded: "not today!" in a mean tone. I waited and waited some more. I walked back and forth from the mini parking lot, and to the window where you could see the actual set of the Sportsnet show. I wanted to make sure that Barrett was still there in the studios and that I was not waiting for nothing. Every time I peeked into the studios, he was still there, so I waited some more. Finally at around 3:30, a big guy walks out the door on the inside. Through the glass, I see Barrett along with other Sportsnet people. I show him the Nexus Armband and marker (while he is still inside), and he nods his head and smiles. He walks out the door and signs my stuff. I tell him that I waited a while for him, but that it was worth it, and he responded "sorry to leave you out in the cold.. it took longer than expected!" As he signed, I asked if I could get a picture after, to which he agreed. One of the Sportsnet people asked for my camera so he could take the picture. After he signed everything, he made sure that I closed my program to make sure that nothing would fly out because of the wind. We posed for the picture and I thanked him and tell him "you're huge!". He laughed and entered that black SUV. That driver that I had previously asked smiled and waved at me lol. I then gathered my stuff and as I did so, another Sportsnet person told me "you got him at the right time! How long were you waiting?" I told him: "one and a half hours, but it's worth it to me!" and he said "yeah, he's a good guy!" Today really tested my patience, but I had a gut feeling that I would end up meeting Barrett, and I did! Autographs:

Met The Dream Team today which was pretty cool. Was supposed to meet Evan Bourne at an indy event first, which he was scheduled for a 3PM meet and greet. Saw A-Rock there and so we chatted while we waited. 4:30 came and the meet and greet didn't even start so I just left and hit up a few thrift stores before heading over for the 6PM signing at Woodbridge Heroes (same place where I met Eugene last weekend) We arrived at Woodbridge Heroes around 5:40 and lined up to get a ticket. As I was line, yeetman13 walked in and we chatted a bit. Before it was my turn to get my tickets, my dad smiled at me and winked teasingly because he knows that I've had bad experiences with the staff at Heroes. I asked for an autograph and a photo-op. They got the price right this time.. $30. I got my two tickets, but one ticket says "Autograph" and the other said "Own Item".. seriously? How hard is it to write "Photo-Op" on the ticket? I thought this would make things more confusing for the ticket handler, but luckily it did not. They came about 45 minutes late. When they walked in, my dad started taking pictures. My dad told me: "there's an old guy with that tall guy.. who's that?" lol.. He was referring to Brutus ("the tall guy") and Greg ("the old guy"). When I went up to them, Brutus Beefcake was actually nice this time, contrary to my previous experience and other experiences that I've read. He was actually smiling this time, even when I offered my hand for a handshake. I told Brutus that I already have him in the book (I know he's in more sections, but I didn't want to spend too much) and he smiled. For the photo-op, I was able to go behind the counter and get a photo with both of them, which I thought was cool. After, I thanked them and we left. My autograph:

^ Like I said in that thread it was awesome they were so damn nice! On an unrelated note I was trying to find some Teddy Long cards to get him to personally sign through the mail (sadly I only found two unique cards *doubles of both though*) and I finally found my damn 2011 Rey Mysterio autograph card! I have been searching for that that little sh*t forever and I thought it was lost underneath my bed in the hobby box I got it in. I have no idea why I never looked near my dvd bookcase since the hobby box has been sitting there forever apparently. I am just happy I finally found it! As a bonus the hobby box had two other one color (black) relics in it of The Miz and Jack Swagger. Since I like pictures, and just in case people wanted to see what the card looks like, here is an image from Google (not my exact card but mine is still inscribed *does Rey sign ever without 619 inscription though?*):
