Got this in my inbox;
"Thanks so much for shopping at Mattel! We’re disappointed to let you know that we are unable to complete your order. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
The following is unavailable and has been removed from your order:
Item: 11182657 Description: WWE« Legends The Rockers SHAWN Quantity: 1 @ $16.99
Item: 10434945 Description: The Rock Quantity: 1 @ $8.49"
So rumors are false and I just paid $15 for a basic figure, yay.

I still haven't had my order cancelled yet. Maybe they are gonna cancel orders for people that used discount codes as I didn't use any on my order. And I do believe it was RSC that wiped out the inventory and caused this whole mess. No way they are selling them for $29.99 unless they bought them from mattel shop for $19.99. If I don't have my order filled I'd rather pay $50 to a scalper on eBay instead of condoning what RSC has done.

I wonder how many RSC ordered. Were they the 200 piece order that made Mattel notice their mistake?

I understand why RSC does this as they are a business. I partly blame Mattel for not limiting the amount someone can purchase. Surely Mattel knew that if they sold these to RSC at the discounted price then Mattel is the one losing money. Bill already said selling them at $20 was a big mistake and I blame Mattel as well for filling a large order to RSC as well. I have been plenty patient but this whole situation is becoming ridiculous. Either go ahead and cancel them all or let us know they will be filled. A simple email from Mattel letting us know what's going on would be nice. I'm tired of all the rumors. Mattel has gotta realize that many people are getting/receiving these as gifts and would like to know if they need to shop elsewhere.

It's not RSC's fault if Mattelshop welcomes bulk orders. It said right on the website for bulk orders to call.
RSC isn't charging more than what MattelCollector is charging so at least it can help out some collectors who wants to order other stuff.

It's not so much that they are the same price it's the fact that they ruined it for everyone else. Because of greed, lots of people's money/time have been wasted waiting for an answer to this mess. I still have $45 tied up while I wait to see what happens with my mattel shop order. Either fill the back orders or cancel them all. It's not fair to anybody when some orders were filled and some cancelled while RSC makes $10 off of everyone who missed out. If I can't get my order once I get my money back I'll order from matty. Rather support the line than support the scalpers.

I received the same email and my order was cancelled. I'm sure it's no coincidence that RSC got the Rockers in stock today.

You are not going too get your money back for 30 days from the time you canceled your order. I spoke with my credit card rep on monday and she said it will be Dec 18th when i get my money back and i ordered the rockers from mattelshop.com, got the backorder notice 2 hours later and canceled right away and i still aint getting my money for 30 days its b.s really.. so its gonna happen the same with everyone who canceled orders.. Also, i guess we found out where all the rockers went on Fri lol

The thing that confuses me is this:
UPDATE ON THIS (again, please feel free to post on other collector sites):
It took us a couple days, but we were able to work with both MattelShop and MattyCollector to try to straighten this situation out. Here's what we're going to do:
MattelShop is going to honor the orders of anyone who ordered the Rockers 2-pack from them while the item was still on the site. This means that if you ordered from MattelShop and received an email that the item is on backorder, your order WILL be fulfilled if a) you still want it and b) you haven't already cancelled.
MattelShop should be sending an email out today to everyone who still has an order pending with the same info.
Again, this was a mistake on Mattel's part due to the fact that we're a big company with a lot of people and systems that don't always have perfect coordination. Hopefully everyone can see this for what it was - a glitch that allowed some lucky folks to get a $30 item for $20. Not a conspiracy (we're talking to you, R-Truth).
To those who celebrate it, Happy Thanksgiving!
-WWE Guys
That was posted today on the mattycollector forums however many are saying that their orders are still getting cancelled. I don't understand it. I ordered at 10 am eastern while the rockers were online and said in stock. My order still says back order when I track it on mattel shop.com so maybe I will eventually get them.

I haven't got a cancellation notice yet. No biggie anymore though as I ordered a set from Mattycollector.com as well. If I get an extra set, I will either 1) keep it MOC. 2) sell it for what I paid for it. 3) trade it for something else. I'm sure it won't be hard to move.

It might be lol unless your willing too take a hit on it and lose out some money then it wouldnt be hard. Mattycollector.com STILL has them up for sale, and as you see im sure, RSC just got a ton in for there Thanksgiving sale for $29.99 everyone and there mom has a chance at getting them now. You would prob have better luck trading them too someone unless RSC and matty both sell out in the next couple weeks and someone wouldnt get paid til after that, or if you know a collector who dont have a computer in your area or does not buy figs online then you could sell to them but im almost betting everyone who wanted a set will have had a set

I might have to sit on them for awhile until all the online resources are exhausted, but sooner or later they will not be able to be had. Take a look at Legends series 1 LOD....For 9 months, they sat at retail. But, once they were gone, now they sell for 2-3 times as much as you could have got them for at retail. Now, since I am not looking to make a profit on the Rockers, once all the online resources are exhausted and I still have an extra set, someone will want it. Also, how do you know RSC got a TON of these sets in? Who knows? Maybe they got 25 sets or maybe they got 500 sets.

Yeah thats what im saying though, everyone who wanted the Road Warriors got them already so the ones sitting around for sale that price are not even moving cause well, ppl picked them up that wanted them, and the few who were debating on it dont even wanna get them at that price now. Not saying its impossible too get rid of a rockers set, just saying its not gonna be easy considering everyone already jumped on theres from mattelshop.com and mattycollector.com. now RSC got them up for sale, god knows how many too, and matty still has plenty left im sure. There not like Ryder was or CM Punk thats for sure lol

Man, this whole situation is making me angry. I cancelled my order because the WWE Guys told me the back orders pretty much were just getting cancelled AND a CS person at Mattel Shop told me to cancel because they weren't getting them back in and I'd get my money back quicker if I just cancelled it then. Now they are straight up saying they are honoring it in the post I made on the Matty Collector forum where they had originally told me they wouldn't be honoring it! Hahaha, wow, so ridiculous.

My Matty Collector order shipped, so I'm going to just cancel my Mattel Shop order. Don't need 2 2-packs.
I think RSC selling them for $30 is a pretty clear indicator of what happened, but we may never know for sure.

Or it could just be that RSC got them in bulk from Matty collectors. There is a customer service number there also that they could have called to place an order there on. Monday. I just love how everyone is quick to blame RSC for every issue there ever is. I'm sure with RSC being one of their bigger accounts(probably their biggest after the retail chains) they probaby get a nice dicount on their bulk orders.
