It's reasons like this (not the thread, just what you're pointing out) that I went from posting on here 10-15 times a day, to barely lurking anymore. Love how 90% of the board goes full intellectually- disabled person after every episode of Raw. Chris mother ing Jericho...CHRIS ING JERICHO is back, most likely full time, and we have a good chunk of people raging quitting on him after 2 episodes because he's trying to break-out a new character, something that a majority of these people will probably consider "ZOMG EPIC!" in a month or so when it takes off and we'll see sigs flooding the place. And it's even crazier to me that the World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan (which is an insane through in itself) completely squashed Tag Champ Kofi Kingston in like a minute in a half....yet the hot topic for discussion is that Brodus Clay danced instead of trudged down in generic black singlet with generic stock music and squashed "local talent, Terry Tommy" in a 2 minutes, so now the WWE is ruined forever. And the Kane/Cena/Ryder storyline... 1. "Push Ryder!!!" 'main event push' "Hmmmm...no not that push! WE WANT A NEW PUSH!" 2. "Turn Cena heel!" 'blatantly laying the grounds for a future heel turn' "OMG WASTE OF TIME HE'LL NEVER EVER IN ONE BATRILLIONZILLION YEARS TURN HEEL!" 3. Put the mask back on Kane!" 'masked Kane emerges' "No not that mask! And don't act that way! Act this way!" Nice. I'll be the first to admit the Cena/Ryder/Kane angle is a little tedious, but some of the reasons for it are hilarious. I love everyone whining about Kane "stalking menacingly in the background" like that's something new that he nor a dozen other superstars haven't done before. And now it's everyone's acting abilities. Yeah that's it! Ryder's not classical training in the arts! BOOOOOOOOO. The problem with this place is that a majority of people have the attention span of a kitten...no a take it back, that's insulting to kittens. And over-analyze and grasp at straws with the WWE more than Twilight fangirls EVER did with Breaking Dawn or New Moon. Nobody has any goddamn patience, thinks they're experts on everything ever, and demand instant gratification from show to show to show. Yeah, many here seem not to get pleased with anything. "WWE should push younger stars!!!!" *Sheamus, Swagger get pushed* "That's not how you push stars!" "Del Rio should win the World Title at WrestleMania" *Del Rio wins the WWE Championship a couple of months later* "What are you doing, WWE!?!? Del Rio's boring, he should never win a World Title" "CM Punk should be one of the top superstars of the company" *CM Punk gets pushed and wins the WWE Championship* "He's not the same!!!" It happens every single time.

I agree, everyone on this board is so negative. All the storylines WWE has been doing are great. I'm 28 been watching since 1985 and this is what wrestling is all about. If people on this board had their way storylines would be over in one weeks time and there would be no mystery to anything.

I dont have a problem with storylines taking a while to "payoff" per say. But I dont like how WWE seems to stall at one portion of the storyline, They dont flow very well.
For example, The Kane and Jericho angles have both been pretty much the same thing for 2-3 weeks. I understand its been a short period of time for both of these angles, But the RAW gm angle and the Nash/Text angle have tought me that WWE isnt the best anymore at advancing a storyline. Some of them dont even have a payoff
I get the feeling alot of the time watching these angles that Vince himself has no idea where the angle is going. The RAW gm angle is all the fuel I need to think that way. Its a wild goose chase with no conclusion

I find it annoying how people on here tend to beg and beg for certain things to happen, and then they complain and nitpick everything about it once it finally happens:
Masked Kane CM Punk push Sheamus, Swagger, Del Rio(as much as I dislike the guy) and other young talent being pushed Ryder as U.S. Champion Chris Jericho return Rock return (Although it hasn't been played out all that well)
Not to mention all the other things happening.....
Ziggler in the WWE title hunt Rhodes as IC Champion Bryan as World Champion Wade Barrett push

I thought the Ultimate Warrior/Papa Shango storyline was corny when I was 10 years old... and I still think it's corny today. Also - disliking something that is going on does not always = "bitching and moaning". Some of us know how to dislike something without throwing a temper tantrum. So don't single all of us out as "bitching and moaning". Thanks. - Management Well said!

It's about time someone pointed this out. I don't really understand what's so bad about this angle? I'm happy that they're proving that Cena can have a great feud, that doesn't involve a world title.

I like the angle. I am not afraid of it though. But I was very afraid back in 2006 with the Boogeyman, because i was l young. I was afraid of KANE in like 2004 too. I was afraid of WWE's stuff as a kid but the angle is still cool as a teenager to watch.

I'm sorry, but this is a God awful storyline...CM Punk, being WWE Champion, should be the main focus of the show and going on last, not this awful piece of crap. Cena and Kane by itself is alright, but with Zack Ryder and Eve? Awful. CM Punk is my favorite wrestler, but the ratings prove it during his segments. CM Punk is not a draw, he turns away viewers and people can blame the writers as much as they like but John Cena has been given worse booked crap and drawn a lot better numbers. So maybe when the guy can keep viewers tuned in and draw additional numbers he can go on last and be the main focus. Because honestly it's stupid to put him on TV all the time if it's hurting the product from a business point of view.

I dont think the majority of the people here who were clamoring for such things are the same people crapping on them.

There's 1 guy on YouTube who is a Kane mark & is always commenting saying how WWE have "ruined" Kane. He saw Cena attack Kane at a house show & proceeded to flip out saying "Oh well done WWE you've ruined Kane!!". I just laughed at how stupid he is. Then he commented on this week's Raw saying "Yeah they've totally ruined Kane, he used to beat people up & make them suffer, now it's crap". I was like "What the do you want from them? He's doing that now isn't he?"

I think my least favorite thing is when people think a forum is full of nothing but bi-polar idiots. Forums are full of different people all with different opinions. People are more inclined to speak out on things when they're not happy with them. Yeah, a lot of people wanted Kane to put the mask back on and they spoke up about it. He did and now those people are busy enjoying masked Kane. But then there's a whole new group of people who didn't want Kane to put the mask back on, now they're unhappy so now they're speaking up.
That's what happens. You can not please everyone so you're always going to have vocal people who are unhappy, that's a community. Are there some people who won't be happy no matter what? Yeah. But not as many as people would like to think there are.

What you have is Group A bitching for something to happen and Group B bitching when it does happen. In the end you have people who feel any bitching is wrong and start threads bitching about the bitching which just starts a fire of arguing and bitching.

@jeds World: Great thread.
@1991: Great post.
@juice: If you're not one of these people that whines and cries and bitches and moans... don't get so defensive, ya know? It's not everyone on WF, but there are plenty who do nothing but complain when a storyline/ character/ match doesn't pan out how they'd planned it out in their head.

The reason we enjoyed it more back in the day was. We were kids and gullible. When we thought wrestling was real it must have been the coolest thing ever, when I was a kid I never questioned anyone's "wrestling skills, mic skills" etc I just enjoyed it. I think that's what we are missing, granted that wrestling does seem to be lacking something lately, but still that's what I think we are missing. That's one of the reasons Cena is so over, he's the hero to the kids who think it's real. That realism feel we had when we believed it was real is something we don't have anymore. Although I still have gotten excited over some matches!
