Also - disliking something that is going on does not always = "bitching and moaning". Some of us know how to dislike something without throwing a temper tantrum. So don't single all of us out as "bitching and moaning".

It's reasons like this (not the thread, just what you're pointing out) that I went from posting on here 10-15 times a day, to barely lurking anymore. Love how 90% of the board goes full intellectually- disabled person after every episode of Raw. Chris mother ing Jericho...CHRIS ING JERICHO is back, most likely full time, and we have a good chunk of people raging quitting on him after 2 episodes because he's trying to break-out a new character, something that a majority of these people will probably consider "ZOMG EPIC!" in a month or so when it takes off and we'll see sigs flooding the place. And it's even crazier to me that the World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan (which is an insane through in itself) completely squashed Tag Champ Kofi Kingston in like a minute in a half....yet the hot topic for discussion is that Brodus Clay danced instead of trudged down in generic black singlet with generic stock music and squashed "local talent, Terry Tommy" in a 2 minutes, so now the WWE is ruined forever. And the Kane/Cena/Ryder storyline... 1. "Push Ryder!!!" 'main event push' "Hmmmm...no not that push! WE WANT A NEW PUSH!" 2. "Turn Cena heel!" 'blatantly laying the grounds for a future heel turn' "OMG WASTE OF TIME HE'LL NEVER EVER IN ONE BATRILLIONZILLION YEARS TURN HEEL!" 3. Put the mask back on Kane!" 'masked Kane emerges' "No not that mask! And don't act that way! Act this way!" Nice. I'll be the first to admit the Cena/Ryder/Kane angle is a little tedious, but some of the reasons for it are hilarious. I love everyone whining about Kane "stalking menacingly in the background" like that's something new that he nor a dozen other superstars haven't done before. And now it's everyone's acting abilities. Yeah that's it! Ryder's not classical training in the arts! BOOOOOOOOO. The problem with this place is that a majority of people have the attention span of a kitten...no a take it back, that's insulting to kittens. And over-analyze and grasp at straws with the WWE more than Twilight fangirls EVER did with Breaking Dawn or New Moon. Nobody has any goddamn patience, thinks they're experts on everything ever, and demand instant gratification from show to show to show. This really should be the only post in the entire thread.

I love this storyline except for Zack Ryder being apart of it. That whole scene with him and Eve and changing the tire, it was just so cringeworthy and awful.

They were rushing to get out of the place before Kane attacks them. Its all part of an adrenaline rush. I loved it. I was scared but loving it at the same time.

I'm sorry, but this is a God awful storyline...CM Punk, being WWE Champion, should be the main focus of the show and going on last, not this awful piece of crap. Cena and Kane by itself is alright, but with Zack Ryder and Eve? Awful. CM Punk is my favorite wrestler, but the ratings prove it during his segments. CM Punk is not a draw, he turns away viewers and people can blame the writers as much as they like but John Cena has been given worse booked crap and drawn a lot better numbers. So maybe when the guy can keep viewers tuned in and draw additional numbers he can go on last and be the main focus. Because honestly it's stupid to put him on TV all the time if it's hurting the product from a business point of view. The only reason CM Punk's ratings drop is because WWE puts him in feuds against wishy washy midcarders (Del Rio, Miz, Lauranaitis). Punk vs. Ziggler isn't really a feud or storyline yet, but to see a pure wrestling-based feud over the WWE title would be better than Punk against midcarders or being put in tag team main events. When Punk was feuding with McMahon, Cena, HHH, and Nash, he was getting more and more over and was more of a draw. Hell, remember the short early 2011 feud between CM Punk/John Cena when Punk took over Nexus? That was pre-summer 2011 Punk, and even then, before the shoot promo/face turn in June, he was kicking ass on the mic against Cena, and they all of a sudden ended that feud and put him in a feud with Orton leading up to WM27. Fact is Cena would get buried if left in a feud too long with Punk. WWE won't have it. It's like Austin in 1997. Austin didn't draw ratings and get over by feuding with Farooq or Savio Vega. His rise began by feuding with Bret Hart (a longtime fan-favorite/staple in WWF) He had run-ins with established main eventers like Bret, HBK, and Undertaker. He was put in a storyline with McMahon. They need to put Punk in a storyline against a big name or figure. Lauranaitis is not the 2012 equivalent of the 1999 McMahon. Miz and Del Rio will do nothing for Punk's career. It's like Farooq and Savio feuding with Austin. No draw. WWE isn't ready for Punk to go in a feud with Vince, Cena, or HHH, or hell even Nash, and go over them and win the feud. Punk technically did not win the Cena feud. He won at MITB before WWE created two WWE titles so Cena could have one again. Then Nash interfered at SummerSlam and they shifted from Punk vs. Cena (no one won the suddenly-dropped feud) to Punk vs. HHH/Nash. HHH is just a one-man Kliq when it comes to booking. If Jericho/Punk gets going, it'll be interesting to see who WWE makes the face and who's the heel, and how long it'll last before WWE goes back to the comfort zone of Punk vs. Miz/Truth/Del Rio and Jericho vs. Jinder Mahal.

Are you watching the show at all or just drooling when Kane comes out and cuts an awful promo wearing his mask? John Cena hasnt done a damn thing to make this angle seem good. His character is careless and is obsessed with making bad and dated jokes when he should be coming off terrified or at the very least, against what Kane says. Instead it's just Kane talking about some nonsense about Cena embracing hate...then Cena coming out with some brawling over what again? Not once has Cena's character come off like he's bothered by what Kane is trying to accomplish and it's hurting an already silly angle. Where am I getting this? I'm watching the product.

Judging by the segment breakdown ratings for the last two weeks Punk gains viewers but not as many as his slot used to. Jericho is losing viewers as is Kane and Cena but the big ratings killer this week was Ryder who lost half a million as he tried to change a tire.

Instead of having Zack change a tire they should've just had Eve & Zack get in the car and have Kane sit up in the backseat and grab Ryder and start beating the crap out of him. I have a feeling they may have been trying to fill time.

Kane is the WWE's answer to try and get more cheers than boos. Yes, it's great to see Kane actually getting Main Event attention, but otherwise this is just a transparent plot to me and indeed nothing really new. Punk is doing as good a job as anyone else has as Champ. He has appealed to new fans including kids and females while making the "ROH Marks" and more classic-oriented fans happy, while bringing a new edge to the role. Ryder was entertaining to me intially..but my kids walk around doing the whole thing all day yet have no idea what his moves are or about his skills as a wrestler. He's a semi-talented performer with a flashy, simple gimmick and catch phrases that put forth more effort to get over than anyone else has. Still, this does not make him a solid wrestler or main event player..just viable to kids. Dolph and Cody are being groomed for the future which makes me happy. Unfortunately, we need to endure more age-friendly gimmicks like Santino, Ryder, Rising Above Hate etc to get there. I still watch and enjoy...however I play Call of Duty till about 10PM so I can Tivo through what I don't like to get to what I do like.
