Im thinking/hoping Omega beats Okada in the title match. Now that Okadas got all the records for the Heavyweight Title, what's the point of his reign going any longer than it already has. Anyways, the 2nd night of Wrestling Dontaku was good. Though i normally skip Okadas matches, i watched his match with Tanahashi. It was great as expected, but honestly nothing i haven't seen already in their past matches. THANK GOD Bone Soldier was not what i expected. I liked Taiji Ishimori from his matches on Impact. I thought Jericho wasnt going to return to NJPW. Im glad we're getting Jericho vs Naito soon. Im hoping we get Jericho vs Tanahashi in the future as well.

Id be fine with Omega or Naito being the ones to take the belt. Good point about Omega and Cody. I could see Cody costing Omega the title. Then again, i thought Tanahashi would go chase the IC Belt right away after the New Japan Cup, so anything can happen at this point in the game.

I think they're gone, Showbuckles mostly gone. NJPW or Youtubes copyright program took down the majority of their videos

It's sad Showbuckle got taken down, his videos were really well done, i guess New Japan is expanding it's copyright infringement efforts.
I enjoyed Dontaku day 2. Tana/Okada was a MOTY contender. Day 1 was alright.

just finished up night 1 of the super jrs. i dont watch much ring of honor, or too many other american independents just because i dont have the cash flow to buy 16 different streaming services for wrestling. point is, first time seeing ach. that kid is a stud in the ring. i wasnt too hot on gordon, but im not really a 'do flips for no reason' type of guy.

Watched Hiromu vs. Dragon Lee from Day 6 of BOTSJ, really good match. It's better than some of their Arena Mexico matches.

In some stunning news Io Shirai has signed with WWE and cleared medicals. 2 years ago she was about to sign but the offer got pulled because of heart and neck issues.

Interesting to see who they go with. Ishimori beat Ospreay but lost to Flip and Kanemaru while Hiromu lost to Dragon Lee and Desperado. They could either continue the Hiromu Ospreay saga or have Ospreay want a rematch against Ishimori after the loss.

i think the logical booking is hiromu. first of all, he was the mvp of this tourney... for my money, at the very least. my top 4 matches of the block phase were hiromu vs dragon lee, kushida, desperado and marty. now that aside... ishimori got a win over ospreay, combined with the attack last month, ishimori likely already has a title shot in the bank. you set up two title matches for ospreay, if hiromu pulls it out (even 3, potentially, since bushi got a win over ospreay as well)
