I can see Ishimori winning since he's the new star in the Jr. division but if Hiromu wins it would be great since he needs something. Besides the match with Ospreay at Dontaku he's do nothing for the past few months.

That spot on the stairs was silly nuts. Just a phenomenal match. Plus, Ishimori still has claim to a title shot. Really loved the drama with the submissions with Takahashi trying to get to the ropes. Crowd was really hot for the whole match.

I'm going to aim to get up at 5am. So whatever that puts me at live is what I'll deal with on Sunday. I'm not particularly interested in the first 3 matches but then everything else is fire imo. So I'll just have to go back and watch what I miss. I expect the card to be 5 hours. So I'm hoping I can at least see Bucks on by being up at that time.

after re-watching the omega/okada matches, and re-watching wk12 over the last couple days... its time for omega. i was pretty fine with cody somehow getting involved and costing kenny, and kenny gets his moment at wk13. but omega is on the verge of absolute superstardom and possibly being the biggest name in wrestling. its time.

I might seriously cry if Omega loses. I hope Omega wins. What more can they do with Okada as champion

I agree it’s Omega’s time. Fingers crossed.
God my predictions for this have been awful. 2-4 thus far.

So yeah, that was the greatest match I've ever watched.

Jericho just made that Epic Moments figure moderately accurate to something. At least for having kickpads with jeans.

Interesting that Okada’s fall was just a shock pin before Omega won two in a row. Put him over huge. I thought Okada was going to kick out of the one winged angel with the score being 1-1, for a true “what the hell can Omega do now?” moment, before Omega ultimately won.

im way behind, i had to work today, and i wanted to enjoy the show in full. naturally i had the two main events spoiled, because thats what life does, but... hiromu! awesome match too. im assuming okada/omega and naito/jericho are gonna be as amazing as i expect, so having seen everything up to naito/jericho, im gonna guess 4 4 star matches on the meltzer scale. bucks/lij, hiromu/ospreay and the two main events. they got a lot to live up to though.

jericho/naito... the emotion and intensity was superb. there were some sloppy moments, it looked like the two werent on the same page a couple times, but that didnt take much away. i have no complaints. clearly its not over with naito, and jericho/evil? im strangely intrigued. i actually thought the bucks/lij and hiromu/ospreay were cleaner matches, but like i said, the intensity of that match was marvelous.

incredible. incredible match. just looking at it on a fall by fall basis, as singular matches. the first fall was probably a low 4 star match, if it was by itself. the second fall was probably a mid-high 4 star match, if it was by itself. these two guys wrestled two 4 star matches, before they even got to the finish of their story. two champions, the two best wrestlers in the world (arguably), totally exhausted. i wish i didnt have the result spoiled ahead of time, for the genuine shock of the finish. but man... i was almost as out of breath as they were at the end. and, underrated part of the match... don callis going full "heenan at the 92 rumble for ric flair" for omega. "gedo's stalling right now, this is bullcrap." "hook the leg, hook the leg, hook the leeeeeg, oh my god." just awesome work by everyone involved.

As a none NJPW regular watcher, how did Omega earn the title shot at Dominion?

As a none NJPW regular watcher, how did Omega earn the title shot at Dominion? Omega just went up to Okada after his match with Tanahashi and challenged him for the title. Thats pretty much it. There was unfinished business with those two in storyline because they were 1-1-1 in the three matches they had
