I think God replaces question marks in what we don't understand. I think Dr Neil Tison DeGrasse termed it "God of the Gaps". Like when we figure out something with science, God isn't needed there anymore but He fits in when we don't understand something. Somewhat the main logic around god. Things which can't be interpreted by man can be held through the knowledge of god supposedly.

If matter can be created, there is no logical reason to believe that there is a God. Not necessarily. There could still be a god without he/she/it having to create anything. He/she/it could still dabble in the affairs of common men and still be relevant without having to be a creator.

Religion sucks. I believe it was created for the sole purpose of trying to control people and people accepted it because it gave them hope, a false sense of hope but some kind of hope nonetheless. I long for the day when religion can be dis-proven 100% without question once and for all.
Now, do I have a problem with people that do embrace religion? Absolutely not. You wanna worship Jesus, Allah, Buddha, Vishnu or whoever, more power to you. But when it gets shoved down my throat and I get constantly told that I'm going to hell for being practical and not believing in such nonsense, that's when I get irritated.

Doesn't explain how life began, which is the real question. Billions of years ago another planet collided with Earth causing environmental conditions that spawned microscopic organisms and along with the relationship with the distance from the sun and the moon, we evolved purely from coincidence.

Totally not true. No planet ever collided w/Earth.

According to Physics, our earth wouldn't be possible without the elements from exploding stars.

I would imagine this is roughly close to the idea. The oldest human fossils they've found were in Africa, dating 150,000 years ago, with the theory that humans first left Africa 70,000 years ago. Over the next several tens of thousands of years, humans began to reach Europe and Asia. We began to move our way through the Paleolithic Age (early Stone Age), Mesolithic and Neolithic Ages. After a while different religions began to develop, with of course major ones coming during the Bronze Age in the Middle East after written communication was developed.

I consider myself Agnostic, I can only say IDK. I don't believe in any particular organized religion and I find pretty much all of them to be fantasy, but it'd be nice to believe there is a God. But who knows? I'm not sure any of us will ever find out.

If there's nothing after death, no one will ever know, because they'll just be...dead...they won't know anything. That's pretty depressing.

Then you would know that there was nothing. Right? My point is, you would have to be fully dead to find out, but if there's no way to be cognizant after being fully dead, you wouldn't know or realize anything. You would just be dead.

If matter can be created, there is no logical reason to believe that there is a God. Then again, that's never stopped anyone before. People also still think Elvis is alive... Meh. it doesn't explain the phenomena of existence, which is i think the bigger question than how crap is made.
