We will all know for sure once we die. Sadly, no one comes back with the answer. Actually, we may not. If there's nothing after death, no one will ever know, because they'll just be...dead...they won't know anything. That's pretty depressing. Personally, I feel it's the fear of just that which leads people to religion. (not to offend, I know these are touchy subjects with some)

Billions of years ago another planet collided with Earth causing environmental conditions that spawned microscopic organisms and along with the relationship with the distance from the sun and the moon, we evolved purely from coincidence. Totally not true. No planet ever collided w/Earth. Umm, yes, yes it did. 4.4 billion years ago a planet called Zea or Theo or however you spell it, collided with the Earth (smaller back then). Both planets fused to create the Earth we all know. A small chunk of Thea became the moon.

I think religion is just a story that was changed as people passed it on.
