Brock was ready to leave anyway. He had nothing else to prove to Mir or anyone else.

Brock was ready to leave anyway. He had nothing else to prove to Mir or anyone else. Yeah, you are probably right. I'm sure Mir would've liked another shot at Lesnar though. I guess that'll be the one trilogy that just wasn't meant to be unfortunately....

I don't think so. I don't even see Mir coming close to defeating JDS anyway, but crazier things have happened. I just like the storyline thing they can do with this one. Nog should corner JDS too, heh.

Looks like it's gonna be JDS vs. Mir, Cain vs. Bigfoot, and Nelson vs. Meathead. Eh it's solid I suppose. My excitement level for this card has went way down though as I'd it seems like a good chance of JDS, Cain and Country walking away with easy wins with only JDS/Mir being overly exciting to me. you Reem.

JDS vs Mir will be good imo, but seeing Reem would have been awesome!

...will Overeem be suspended? I know DW is furious about the situation.

Earlier, Dana said that "Mir vs. Cain WILL HAPPEN". The only replacement I can think of is Werdum then. Or, what the ? Why NOT Mark Hunt? , I'd love it.

No, he just said he would do it if asked. I doubt UFC would ask him to do that, with him beging the #1 contender to the LHW title after Jones vs. Evans.

I'm going to write an article today/tonight on why Dan Henderson SHOULD replace Overeem.

I can honestly & easily see Hendo getting the match. It sounds crazy, but I think he's got a better shot there than beating Silva or Jones.

Mark Hunt, baby! If not, then Hendo would be cool too... very interesting. I'm pleased Cain Vs Mir will still be happening.

hunt or hendo would be great... one punch knockout power, anything can happen. plus, mark hunt going from breaking his arm from not tapping to sean mccorkle, to being the heavyweight champ, would be so goddamn sweet.

Mark Hunt does not deserve a title shot in any way. He needs at LEAST one more big win to even me considered. If they threw him in with Dos Santos now, he would get annihilated.

The thing is though - if they're not waiting for the whole Overeem situation to be resolved - and are going ahead with the Mir/Cain fight, then - apart from possibly Hendo - why not Hunt? He's coming off three good wins (more than guys like Carwin, Werdum and Silva), he's ready to fight, has a large fanbase... and the fight would be an easy sell (especially given Hunt's history). I just love the whole "Rocky" aspect of it... to see where Hunt was not long ago - and now to have him suddenly fight for the title. At the very least, he has a puncher's chance - who knows what would happen if one of those haymakers connected with Dos Santos' chin? It's a fun fight.

I've got a feeling there's more to this story than we know so far. Nothing public from Overeem or the UFC brass?

This is going to be interesting...
Just got some word that Overeem is going to show up with CURRENT blood tests that show his testosterone level was within normal range. Piss tests only show theres a SYNTHETIC agent present. You can even ask any doctor that has any knowledge in this area, but there's only one way to show "Total Testosterone" levels, and that's to draw blood.
Once again, I want the man to have his chance to speak, so I am going to hold my opinions for after the meeting with the NSAC later this month. Going to be interesting indeed.

Yeah, should be interesting. I really hope Overeem is cleared... Dos Santos/Overeem is such a great pick 'em fight. And Dana's also put the kibosh on Hunt fighting Dos Santos , so I don't really know what would happen...

The only thing I can assume (besides Reem) is Werdum.
