It would have been awesome for Sting to come to the WWE......10 or 15 years ago! Not now. There would be NOTHING that would benefit either Sting or WWE now.
Sting is 52 years old, wouldn't be able to wrestle every week on RAW, and WWE is not going to start having their own guys like Cena and Orton lose to a 'WCW" guy.
The best that Sting would be able to do would be to maybe get a win over Kane, since WWE has EVERYBODY beat Kane. But he's not going to beat Undertaker and I don't think Sting wants to leave TNA to come to WWE just to lose matches to WWE's top talent.
In the Attitude ERA, Sting was right....WWE's program was far too crude and sexual. But now, TNA's storylines are far more graphic and disgusting than anything WWE does, WWE is basically a kids show now. So his logic of why he never came to WWE doesn't make sense because shouldn't he want to leave TNA then?
But either way. Sting doesn't need WWE, and there is nothing WWE needs from Sting. WWE can put out a Sting DVD without him. WWE owns all his footage and I don't even think they would have to pay him any royalties.

I agree. Sting should wrap up his career in WWE. Final match at WrestleMania and an induction into the Hall of Fame.

If you looks at what WCW was doing towards the end and the risque stuff TNA has always done, I don't think WWE was ever worse, except maybe in 98. On the topic at hand though. I wish Sting had come to WWE, but his place in wrestling history is secure without that. He's one of the best and most recognized wrestlers of the past 30 years and he did it without Vince McMahon. That's really impressive. Sure, we missed the matches he could have had with guys like Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, HHH, etc. but that doesn't hurt his legacy at all. Personally, I'd still like to see him come in and face Punk and Cena, but I'm not to worried if he doesn't. all I hope for now is that he retires soon. Then have WWE give him the legends treatment. Hall of Fame, DVD set, and maybe even flashback figure.

Yeah, the WWE IS the big time. No matter how much you argue otherwise, like it or not, WWE is the Big Leagues of wrestling. If Sting doesn't wrestle there, he will still always be a BIG name in wrestling but his legacy will lack the legacy that WWE would've brought it.

he doesnt need to be in wwe to be a legend. Wcw was as big, and bigger than wwf, there for just because wwe won the financial battles and bought wcw, doesnt make them any bigger or better. it only means they have the video catalogue and copyrights etc. of WCW when it folded.
So sting being the icon he was in wcw is as good or better than stepping in wwe. wwf buried most wcw tallent anyway and THAT would have been worse than anything happening today with taker, wwf was the competition to wcw not wwe. wwe is now nothing to me, no legacy to be had what so ever for sting. wwe is entertainment since 02 and the wwf legacy pre-2000 was what mattered.
