Edge retiring and the aftermath of Taker/HHH at 'Mania 28 were the only non-tribute show moments where I did shed a few tears.

Edge retiring, Shawn Michaels retiring, Flair's sendoff, and the Owen and Eddie tribute shows.

At the time the benoit tribute show until we found out the other details :X But I'd say the Eddie Tribute show. I don't see how someone retiring is sad...

Has to be Flair's sendoff for me. I've never even really been a big fan of his, but I couldn't help but get caught up in the emotion of it.

Eddie's tribute shows made me tear up. I had watched him almost my whole life and was such a huge fan of his. Edge's retirement made me year up too because I had followed the guy his whole career and I'm a huge, huge fan of him.

1. Eddie Guerrero's Death.
2. Ric Flair's retirement.
3. Vince McMahon 'relived of his duties'.

I stood in my living room and cried at the Owen Hart tribute show, because I hadn't seen the PPV, I didn't have the internet.. and that was the first I heard about it

Edges retirement?
Im shocked.
Owens tribute was the most real television wrestling has ever done. Super intense.

I was pretty young at the time and don't remember a whole lot of Owen's tribute show.
I still remember Eddie's incredibly well, though. Definitely the saddest for me.
In particular, the final moment of Raw when Cena left the Championship in the ring with Eddie's shirt. One of the classiest things I've ever seen in professional wrestling.

The saddest moment in WWE history was May 23rd 1999 at Over The Edge. I don't know how anyone can say someone's retirement is sadder than knowing a man fell to his death, doing a stunt he didn't want to do, all because the WWE needed those sweet ratings and ppv buy rates.
Owen Hart did not have to die. His death, is easily the one death in wrestling that didn't have to happen, or shouldn't have happened.
I just can't believe that someone could say "Edge retiring" or "Ric Flair retiring" when a man LOST HIS LIFE doing a stunt that didn't need to even happen.
