Well I was thinking about it - like the last time one happened was in the HHH vs. Taker match at WM27. But what if they unban it, I mean like WWE not making it happened frequently, so like for special matches not doing it on Superstars or NXT.
What do you guys think? Because I always thought that they truly made some finishes good.

Orton gets concussions on a regular basis already. Lets just bring back chair shots to the head.

Chair shots are way too dangerous. Plus there are kiddies at home who might try to imitate a chair shot

It'd be cool every once in a while, but I'd rather have the wrestlers be safe and not get concussions.

I honestly think that they would bring back "juicing" before they brought back chair shots, and that wont be happening for a long time, if at all. Then again, thats just my opinion...

What makes you so bloodthirsty that you want these guys to risk their careers, if not lives, by taking a chair shot to the head?
Would you like it if one of your co-workers smashed a chair over your head "every once in a while?" I know I wouldn't, even if they saved it for "special occassions," not just a random Wednesday or Thursday afternoon.

nothing wrong with chair shots to the head, as long as the guy who's taking it gets his arms up enough it can look both realistic and safe. Turns out that a lot of the talent would rather take the shot, because hey what can 1 chair shot do. rather than play it safe.

While I do agree that it's dangerous, I find it hilarious that there wasn't a single person that ever questioned it before the WWE banned it, now everyone is on the "because it's not safe" bandwagon. Just an observation. Before it was mentioned, everybody loved a good chair shot.

No one thought anything about it because no one knew. The NFL started cracking down on it and after the Benoit incident it became a lot more of a perceived threat (because it is one). I am fine with two veterans like HHH and Undertaker doing a chairshot to the "head" as they did at WM since they have been doing it for years and know how to do it safely, but that should hopefully be the last of them.

Chair shots to the head is something I never thought about when I was a kid. I always watched WWF and ECW and was so entertained and never thought about if it might actually hurt the guys. Looking back now I feel kinda guilty being so entertained by some of the chair shots from guys like Balls Mahoney and Masato Tanaka...and some of the chair shots WWF did back in the day were pretty brutal also.
Now, as an adult, I'm glad they don't do chair shots to the head anymore. I don't want the wrestlers to get permanent brain damage just trying to entertain me. I think the regular stuff they do is enough of a risk as it is....now when I watch it and risky stuff is being done I don't even enjoy it really anymore because I'm worried the whole time that something might go wrong. I just don't want anybody to get hurt.

Honestly, I don't miss chair shots to the head. I don't miss the blood. I don't miss the swearing (though it's pretty much back). I miss logical, slow-burn booking.
Personally, I cringe when I see unprotected chair shots to the head now when I watch old matches. I appreciate that guys like Foley used them to maximum dramatic effect, but throwaway matches on RAW didn't benefit from them at all. To me, a solid chairshot to the back has the exact same effect if the recipient sells it properly.
