3 Hours of RAW is doing a lot of damage to the A show. They can have as many other B and C shows if they like it won't hurt.
But 3 hours of RAW is doing some major damage, I don't know if any of you have come across the ratings, but they hit a 2.5, the lowest in 15 years. I mean prior to that it was a 2.8
I have no idea how much money USA network is giving them for this third hour, but is it worth the huge damage they are doing in the viewers tuning out weekly?
They've already kissed off half a million viewers since the change to 3 hours. People are just recording the show and skipping through what they don't want. Or just reading up results, I tuned out for the first time in months last week due to boredom...
What's your guys thoughts? Is 3 hours to much for you or are you still enjoying it?

It still has a higher rating than anything else on the network....
I can't see it changing anytime soon....
Also, you guys complain about guys not getting TV time, well if it goes back to 2 hours then even less people will get time on TV! Matches will be shorter....

Have you seen definitive evidence that adding the additional hour has increased the amount of wrestling and developed story lines we weren't getting previously? I just see that social media plugs and replays of incidents that occurred during the same show are being used to fill up time slots. That's kind of misconception imo.

I stream the damn thing and it's too much for me. Feel sorry for those of you watching it live.

I hope so, 3 hours is way too much to stomach. Can't see it changing though.

personally i agree with you. i record it every week and find myself skipping at least an hour.
i think when it was 2 hours it was so much better and it was bearable to watch. PPV's are 3 hours long so the show shouldnt be.

Apparently USA are happy with it, so it's not gonna change soon. The endless amounts of replays is what kills it for me, which is why i record it and the fact it's on at 1 am.

From the minute everyone started to become full of hype before the 3 hour switch saying that it will give superstars more of a push while giving them more TV/promo time was bad idea to begin. The material gets incredibly stale and it looks to increase the chances of lackluster matches to be displayed. Plus in those 3 hours around half is commercials, promos, segments and fillers anyways. Much less quality watchable compared to the 2 hour shows.

I've fallen asleep during Raw 3 weeks in a row. I can barely make it through the first hour.

It isn't all that bad. I have ADHD and I'm able to sit through the 3-Hours. With the extra hour we get about 2-3 more matches. What they have to do is stop recapping everything and taking time out of the show to talk about social media. I don't like the fact that they bring up social media but when they actually take time out of the show to show us that crap, that gets on my nerves.

The only positive of the 3 hour Raw is for the CM Punk fans. So now they can hear CM Punk ramble on for 15 minutes in his promos of why he is the best in the world and semi shoot on things that the audience has no idea what he's talking about.

I feel most 3 hours Raws drag, but have become used to them and feel a jump back to two hours would make the show seem rushed now. If the network is happy with them, I don't see it going back to two hours anytime soon.

I personally don't mind the 3 hour format. I DVR the show & will start it 45 minutes to an hour late. Once I FF through all the commercials I usually catch up live a little after the 9pm hour. I have yet to sit through the entire 3 hours, so I can't make an opinion if it drags, but this works for me.

It is too long in my opinion. I think the best option would be to make both shows 2 hours each with seperate brands.

If I were 14-18 years old again I could see myself easily watching the 3 hours without a care. I'm 21 going on 22 now, I work and I have responsibilities. Mot of us on this forum are in the late teens/early 20's and older. It's too much for me. Unless they provide ground breaking television I can't stay awake for the entirety. By 10:30 I usually find myself falling asleep because the closing segment hasn't mattered in months.

I think that it's just so long for a typical person to sit down and watch every week. I love wrestling, but I simply don't have the time most weeks to put everything aside for three hours and watch Raw in its entirety. I think the three hours has benefited a few things, but I can't see WWE ditching the extra revenue being made from an additional third hour of programming (and commercials).
