This movie was nothing short of amazing. Jamie Foxx gives an oscar-worthy performance. If you like Tarantino films, This is on the top of the list.

tarantino is one of my favs and i've been waiting to see this since it was announced. crazy it's been three years since inglorious basterds. i finally had some time to see django: unchained last night. the acting was top notch! leo dicaprio's performance was insane! loved it. sam jackson as stephen almost stole the film though. love tarantino's dialogue. perfect blend of banter, comedy, violence, and a love story. i felt like this ran a little long (like most of his work) but enjoyed this film. literary died laughing at the KKK part. the crazy violence was there as expected. still haven't seen a lot of the oscar front runners this year (silver linings playbook, lincoln, life of pi, le mis, etc....) but this is probably my favorite movie i've seen all year. def seeing this again while its still showing in theaters.

I was so stuck on The Dark Knight Rises being my favorite movie of 2012, but then this film swoops in with 3 days to spare and changes my mind haha.

Crazy good, although I think some white folks won't like it for the amount of blood and n-bombs.

I loved it. One of my favorite movies of the year. It was crazy because I saw two movies this week and they both went into my top 5. I really can't say enough good things about this movie. I'm hoping I can see it again before it leaves theatres. We'll have to wait and see how that goes though. One of my favorite parts is when he's at the bar with Franco Nero. When he spells out the and says the D is silent. Franco Nero saying "I know" had my best friend and me in total stitches, biggest laugh of the movie for us. The interesting part is that when we stopped laughing I realized we were the only ones who did at all. That was pretty amusing

I saw it the day after Christmas with a friend and I enjoyed it a lot.
It was very violent and had very harsh language but I knew that going into it and still had a good time.
I think all the main characters did an awesome job, especially Leo. God I hope he wins an Oscar for this.. Lord knows he has been deserving of one for a while now..

I didn't like Inglorious Bastards one bit. However I did like the Italian movie from 1978 with the same name but with The in the title

probably my favorite movie of the year. Just all around great performances from everyone all around and just a story that really sticks you. I really enjoyed this one and I recommend it to anyone.

Eh, this was all over the place. The first hour was amazing. Christoph Waltz did his thing as usual, and DiCaprio deserves an Oscar nod. But man...some stuff I can't forgive. At a certain point it took an abrupt turn into straight-up torture porn, and the amount of N-bombs he wrote into the script is inexcusable. I'm sure he claims it's because "it's how they talked" during the time period...but it wasn't. Even plantation owners didn't use it that liberally. He's only doing it because he knows it'll piss people off. Real shame that Sally Menke passed away, because she seemed to have some sort of influence on QT. He's one of those wild creative types who really needs somebody to step in and say "no" to some of the erratic decisions he makes.

I thought the movie was incredibly done, and may be one of Tarantino's best. It's up there with Pulp Fiction. Not to mention how brilliant Samuel L Jackson was.

This was my most anticipated film this year, and it delivered. It's not Tarantino's best by any means but it was nothing short of amazing. Best film of the year

I thought it was great and the story played out well. I really hope a gif shows up of the ending when the house blew up and Django turns around. I thought it was hilarious.

I liked Christoph Waltz' character the most in the film as was the case with Inglorious Basterds.

Absolutely loved it. Much better than Inglourious Basterds, which I deemed a disappointment. The les had me laughing for a good five minutes.
