I can't really say this makes me sad or anything. I wasn't looking forward to his feud with Del Rio, so whatever.

I'll be absolutely stunned if he keeps his spot at 'Mania. It'll be interesting to see what they do in place of the original plans.

Being caught with drugs is an automatic failure of the wellness policy.
14. DISCIPLINE FOR VIOLATION OF LAW Any WWE Talent, who is arrested, convicted or who admits to a violation of law relating to use, possession, purchase, sale or distribution of drugs will be in material breach of his/her contract with WWE and subject to immediate dismissal. In addition to the penalties that may be imposed pursuant to his/her contract with WWE, a violation of this Section 14 may also be treated as a positive test for drugs prohibited by this Policy and therefore, subject to the penalties set forth in Section 15 of this Policy. (section 15 states 30 day suspension for first offence)

Well, I'll be suprised if WWE actually goes through with this angle.
I'm guessing they will run an injury angle on Raw, Henry will destroy Del Rio and Ziggler will cash in and win the WHC, setting up Y2J/Ziggler at Mania.

If WWE has any integrity they will take him out of the match and fire him.

FOR POSITIVE DRUGS TESTS OTHER THAN MARIJUANA AND ALCOHOL" It also goes onto further state that failed drug tests relating to weed and alcohol are a $2500 fine. That's all.

I only saw that one section singled out by someone on twitter. RVD and Sabu did get suspended for 30 days so who knows.

The fact is the man got arrested for drugs. Even if it is pot, they are a publicly traded, PG company now. Much, much different than when RVD got arrested. They have an image to uphold and you best believe they're not going to let a person who was arrested for a DUI and possession wrestle for one of their world titles at an event where the public eye is on them the most.
Not only that, but the biggest thing is that he JUST came back and got a monster freakin' push upon his return. Any confidence they had in him whatsoever, is most likely gone now.

He didn't fail a drugs test for weed though. He was arrested for possession, which according to WWE, is grounds for dismissal.

Couldn't have it happen to a better guy. Stick it to the fans Swagger. No more Del Rio vs Swagger at Wrestlemania.

It's a shame since Swagger's actually a very good wrestler and he's been great since getting a manager since he can't talk for crap. I could very easily see Ziggler cashing in sometime soon, probably to set up a rematch at Wrestlemania with Del Rio. Maybe make it a triple threat by having Orton take Swagger's title shot.
Also, I have to lol at the people who are saying fire him. Just...lol

What an ungrateful bitch. They gave him new life and a chance to shine and he does that? He deserved to job to Santino.

Hard to believe anyone could be that dumb. He just cost himself alot of money. It makes me wonder if he's an alcoholic because it just seems hard that anyone without a serious problem would take this kind of risk during the biggest push of their careers.

Yeah... it's the cop's fault. Dude cops are usually pretty lenient when it comes to pot. And I'm sure the WWE guys get pulled over for speeding all the time. They have to drive from town to town state to state in the middle of the night after wresting matches. It takes a real bunghole cop to give you a DUI for friggin Pot. Or a cop who cares about his job...
