Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter The early talk is that WWE may hold next year's post WrestleMania 30 edition of Monday Night RAW at the same location that they will hold WrestleMania 30; the Superdome in New Orleans. The feeling is that the RAW after WrestleMania has become a huge event, and Vince McMahon wants to make it into even more of a can't miss super show.
Stadiums are starting to ruin wrestling...

Then what would be the point in wasting $70 if youll get the same experience the next night and probably be more entertained for free?

Why do I feel like this is to eliminate the smark-ish post-Mania audiences?

Why do I feel like this is to eliminate the smark-ish post-Mania audiences? I think it has a lot more to do with making as much money as possible. Putting the post-Mania Raw in stadium gives the WWE a ton more ticket-selling potential and they can probably sell a lot of Mania/Raw packages too.

I hope they don't. I'll miss the audience.

That would be pointless as it would eliminate the awesome crowd that is always part of RAW the night after. I hope they don't do this.

"Early talk" "....may hold"
All speculation, but I understand the WWE logic. On thatsame note, its basically taking away the whole once-in-a-lifetime event that is now WM

Bad idea. It will make more money but they'll be no atmosphere.
What they want to do is hold a live Smackdown too in the same arena as Raw, whether it be a supershow or the Tuesday, continue on the aftermath.

Horrible idea. Takes away from Wrestlemania and it's highly unlikely they'll be able to fill the place.

Haha it took all of 2 years to ruin a great thing.
But yeah, this seems likely. They will obviously make tons of money in the short term, but they will likely kill off everything about what made that Raw special pretty quickly. There's just a massive difference between the sound of 20,000 people screaming and chanting inside a giant box versus 75,000 people screaming into open area (even in domed stadiums the building is massive). You don't get the same effect. The second that show doesn't come off as well next year the fans will be over it. Plus, now there is an expectation for the crowd to be spectacular. The higher the expectation, the harder it is to please. Just look at Mania.

I'm going to feel so sorry for the set crew if they have to take down the WM set & put up the Raw set in less than 24 hours.

Horrible idea. Takes away from Wrestlemania and it's highly unlikely they'll be able to fill the place. Pretty much. Plus, like everyone's said, the post-Wrestlemania crowds are always the best and this would diminish their impact on the show greatly.

I don't know if they'll be able to fill an arena that size two nights in a row.....
I mean, how many of the fans that saved up cash, traveled many miles, and dealt with 79,999 other fans to pack into the stadium are willing to do it two nights in a row?
I just think one will cannibalize the other... and they might have two nights in a row of a half-filled stadium?

And seriously, people won't be willing to pay as high of prices for Raw the next night, especially floor seats a 50 yards from the ring!

Plus, if Raw captures the "grandeur" of WrestleMania, less people will purchase when they can get the same essence on Raw for free.

Because of how high the bar is that the crowd set, people will simply EXPECT RAW to be just as good as WrestleMania, in many ways better.
