Btw, is anyone else surprised that Unser has lasted this long? I think it's kind of an ongoing gag to some degree. Not sure if you saw the Emmy's panel they did for Sons, but Dayton Callie joked around pretty much the entire time that his motivation was just to not die. I think he'll likely go in Season 7. They've never said he was in remission I don't believe. They've always had him say something like, it's suppressed for now, or something along those lines. Meaning, it could come back at any time. I know we've talked about the homeless lady before and I've said that Jax and Gemma were really the only people that have acknowledged her. However, I was rewatching the seasons and there was a moment where Unser sees her walking away from Gemma and he looks surprised, like she came out of nowhere. This was around the time he was terminal with cancer in Season 2. Also, in Ireland, the adoptive dad gives her change as he's walking through the shops or whatever. The Ireland situation was a projection of sorts imo. The adopted dad gives a homeless person money and we see Jax's homeless women. However, she moves immediately after that, indicating she is only visible to Jax in that form. How else does a homeless women travel to Belfast after all. I mean we know she's dead and she was there when JT died in the crash but I think she symbolizes more than just a shift in plot and character development for Jax and Gemma. Also, did we ever establish what the hell is going on with the birth certificates? Clay had the nomads steal the safe but why was Thomas' birth certificate relevant and we never saw Jax's? We know that 3rd one was the marriage license, which obviously has sentimental value, but I feel like there is something buried in not showing us.

Btw, is anyone else surprised that Unser has lasted this long? I am, but his character is akin to a moral compass and he has been through so much...the fact he loves Gemma was not a surprise to me, but just how invested he is with the club, his resourcefulness and overall longevity in Charming has been a journey in itself...I don't know what else he could possibly be involved in, but I will be sad to see him go when and if he does.

I just watched this entire show over the last month. As I was telling punksnotdead last night, I don't think I've ever been so emotionally invested in a show before in my life. The writing is so good and the parts are played so well that even though these guys and girls are criminals, you can't help but like them. Tara was by far my favorite character and I cannot disagree more with the poster who said he wanted to see her axed and tried to justify it. Sure, she could have gotten out when she had the chance and yes she did some crapty things in season 6. But, I don't agree that she never cared for anyone but herself, Jax and the kids. Not one bit. That being said, to my original point, the show is so well put together that when Clay was finally killed, even though I'd spent basically two seasons wanting him dead for all he'd done or tried to do, I felt a twinge of sadness seeing him go down. And Tara? Good lord. Broke my heart. I had a gut feeling it was coming because I'd heard she had left the show but I was hoping she went out differently, just got away. Before she ever even got to the kitchen I was saying out loud "No no no" and when Gemma started drowning her and then grabbed the deal to stab her in the head, my hand flew up to my mouth and I'm not ashamed to say I had tears in my eyes. I'm almost dreading season 7. No Tara will be so strange and I'll feel like there's this big hole. The only thing that makes me look forward to it is hoping we see Gemma get what's coming to her. Clay's death wasn't nearly as emotional or impactful to me as Opie's was.. That was gut wrenching. Opie's death was the worst, and it doesn't help that he was my favorite character next to Jax. I was really wanting to see Samcro with Jax as the President and Opie as the VP.

Reading some reports that Aaron Paul might guest star this season.. Not sure if it's a cameo or a couple episodes..
Pinkman and SAMCRO?!

I pre-ordered the Jax and Clay figures (won't see them until September!) but at least it's free shipping...doing this has made me more anxious got the last season, can't wait...Jax VS Nero will be awesome, but of course the fallout of Tara's death is gonna be huge...

He'll play "Ron Tully," a white supremacist prison shot-caller who Jax ( Charlie Hunnam) uses to expand his power base. Interesting to see how he's going to look.

It seems kind of late in the game for Jax to be expanding his power. Maybe that's just me but unless they are going to have a fair amount of time pass between season 6 & 7, shanking dudes in prison seems kind of arbitrary based on the big picture. I guess it's all relative to how Sutter wants to end it though. I'm fully expecting Season 7 to be just an onslaught of unsettling and upsetting occurrences.

I just went through the whole show on Netflix and then caught season 7. Great stuff but I agree, the final season is probably going to have a lot of unsettling and upsetting things happening.

I'm skipping past every post in this thread to make sure I don't spoil anything for myself. I ran through seasons 1-5 on Netflix & am ready for season 6. I know it's already finished, but does anyone know how long they'll wait before putting season 6 up on Netflix OR if they will re-air all of the episodes leading up to season 7? FX is horrible about reruns. If you reply please quote me just so I don't scroll through here & see something I shouldnt.

Not sure about FX doing the re-runs, but Netflix typically puts the previous season up as the current one is starting. So expect Season 6 by October.

They're not that hard to find if you look. You'll be waiting until August/September for the DVD set/Netflix. I think they're available on Amazon/iTunes for purchase too if you're willing to go that route. I think the HD version of S6 is like $35 on iTunes.
