I swear to god if Gemma gets Jax killed... If Gemma doesn't get hers I'm going to be livid.

I swear, I don't think I've ever HATED a TV character as much as I do Gemma - that bitch needs to get got. I'm just dying to see Jax blow her ing head off.... but I could just as easily see her walking out of this alive, with Thomas and Abel.

Wasn't blown away by the first episode. Hope it's not just a set up for another gang war, but with a different gang. Think I had an expectation that something massive would happen, and the ending seemed to come out of nowhere.
Looking forward to the rest of the series though.

I honestly think the punch line to this entire show is that Gemma lives and raises the boys. I hope I'm so wrong but she's obviously painted as misunderstood, when in reality she actually is psychotic. I think the entire idea of her telling Juice she wasn't a psychopath and then listening to Sagal defend that dialogue after the show was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I've hated Gemma since season 1. The only closure with this show for me is getting to watch Jax kill her in bludgeoning fashion and I think it's a pipe dream. Gemma started a gang war at the expense of just keeping her mouth shut. Not only is she vindictive, but she's an absolute moron. This will put everyone at odds. The Sons will knock out the Chinese, the Mayans will follow that war as a result, the 9ers are already at odds with everyone and white is only at peace with the MC until the next time they want to sell meth in Charming. Everyone is going to die.

Jax has clearly lost his mind.. There were hints at his instability this episode just by how Chibbs, Bobby, and Tigg would look at him.. We're definitely going to see Jax get called out on it by a club member, and Jax is going to snap at that person.
Happy seemed to be the only one A-OK with all of this.. Which is classic Happy.
I'm glad to see Nero playing peace keeper, Jimmy Smitts is good for business. And I'm really happy the Grim Bastards have more of a role this season.. Looking forward to next week.
BTW, does anyone know the amount of episodes this season? 13 like normal, maybe?

Well it is Hamlet right, so how does that end? I don't recall.

So it could end up being more I guess if necessary.

Well it is Hamlet right, so how does that end? I don't recall. Sutter said last night that the Hamlet period is over with Jax. There is no more "to be, or not to be" because Tara died. Jax is a man without boundaries right now and absolutely no moral compass. That being said, POTENTIAL SPOILER BASED ON HAMLET: look for a confrontation between Juice and Jax, where Jax mortally wounds Juice and upon his dying words, Juice reveals to Jax the truth about Gemma's involvement in Tara's death.

I'm just dying to see Jax blow her ing head off.... but I could just as easily see her walking out of this alive, with Thomas and Abel. I know exactly how you feel man. They are going to milk this right up until the end and the wait will be dreadful. Most of us want her character dead NOW, but it will be dragged out until the final episode. Ugh. I can see Juice shooting and killing Unser and Gemma shooting and killing Juice, just to keep the secret of what happened to Tara with her and her alone. I hope I am wrong, but I can see it going that route. I can also see a major twist possibly happening and let me explain this one out. Right now, we are all lead to believe that Lieutenant Eli Roosevelt is dead after getting shot and apparently killed by Juice. However, here's what I believe MIGHT happen down the line. I remember back to the cheesy Steven Seagal movie "Hard to Kill" in which his character was shot to hell and left for dead. I remember Seagal's friend Lt. O'Malley saying "the deader he is, the safer he is". I think Tyne Patterson and everyone else are keeping it secret that Lt. Roosevelt is still alive, but lying about his condition to keep him safe from the Sons. If they go the route that Juice might kill Unser and Gemma kill Juice and Gemma thinks the secret is safe with her, what a MAJOR twist it will be if Lt. Roosevelt suddenly comes back into the picture and explains to Jax what REALLY happened to Tara. Remember, he was shot in the back and he was probably wearing a bullet-proof vest. I don't think we have seen the last of Lt. Roosevelt. I think he will show up either on the second to last episode or even the last episode to throw a major curveball into the storyline.

In my eyes, the best possible "happy ending" you could hope for is Jax finally killing Gemma, the bulk of the club making it out of this impending gang war alive, and Jax finally getting out with Thomas and Abel. However, I think the reality is that Gemma is going to get everyone killed - including Jax, and she'll end up walking off into the sunset with Thomas and Abel, and raise them in "the life". I fully believe that Roosevelt is dead, but it's certainly an interesting theory. The idea of... Juice confessing to Jax on his death bed is definitely something I can see happening though. I'm kinda wondering what role Wendy could potentially play in this whole thing. That's one of the many things I love about this show; just when you are sure something is happening, something else comes out of nowhere and smacks you in the face. There are quite-a-few possible outcomes for this final season, and I'm sure Sutter will do an awesome job with whatever it finally ends up being.

Never thought about Roosevelt being alive. I don't think he is, but it would certainly be huge. I always liked him.

That final scene was incredible, have watched it numerous times trying to rack up what to say about it. Simply speechless.

How could any theory make it seem as if Roosevelt is alive?

I've got to watch again to soak it all up. Just so glad it's back but conflicted because I'm not ready to see it end. On another note...they made me hate Gemma even more.

How could any theory make it seem as if Roosevelt is alive? I don't think he is, but I could see them finding a way for him to be, but I don't think it would be totally believable. He was shot at pretty much point blank range.

How could any theory make it seem as if Roosevelt is alive? Yeah, I know it's a HUGE stretch, but SOMEONE has to spill the beans to Jax about who really killed Tara and I think Gemma will kill off everyone else who knows and I think it would be a big shocker if Roosevelt was still alive. I can't imagine Gemma coming clean about it, so that rules her out. That only leaves Juice and if he's somehow still alive, Eli Roosevelt. I don't think Unser knows, even if he did lend Gemma his truck at the end of season 6. I think in the next upcoming episode Juice will confess to Unser, leading to Gemma killing them both off to keep the secret to herself. And she will continue to get away with it, making us hate her even more than we already do, ha-ha.
