How could any theory make it seem as if Roosevelt is alive? Yeah, I know it's a HUGE stretch, but SOMEONE has to spill the beans to Jax about who really killed Tara and I think Gemma will kill off everyone else who knows and I think it would be a big shocker if Roosevelt was still alive. I can't imagine Gemma coming clean about it, so that rules her out. That only leaves Juice and if he's somehow still alive, Eli Roosevelt. I don't think Unser knows, even if he did lend Gemma his truck at the end of season 6. I think in the next upcoming episode Juice will confess to Unser, leading to Gemma killing them both off to keep the secret to herself. And she will continue to get away with it, making us hate her even more than we already do, ha-ha. Judging off the preview for this weeks episode, I don't think Juice is going anywhere yet. I think the idea of Jax fatally wounding Juice and him telling Jax what really happened to Tara before he dies sounds likely.

Not quite storyline related but I saw a commercial for the new CSI New Orleans where CCH Pounder (Patterson on SOA) is a character which got me thinking that maybe she bites the bullet pretty early on this season so she had plenty of time to start filming CSI.
On the other hand, she isn't in every episode.
Just a thought.

I really hope Jax knows what he's doing

Jax has absolutely no idea what he's doing.
Like he said in tonight's episode, he has no more vision.. He's fueled by revenge, and it's blinding him.

I'm just kind of conflicted about how I feel. On one hand, if we look at what Jax knows, versus what we as an audience know, I get the plan. From an audience standpoint, knowing that Gemma is the cause of all of this and Jax is completely misguided and innocent people, and by that I mean not to blame for Tara and not the literal definition of innocent, are getting slaughtered, it's just a train wreck.
Why the absolute hell didn't Jury tell Jax he knew the two guys who were helping them out. I take it that was supposed to be his son? Jax could have just framed somebody else if he knows the truth.
This is the house of cards all falling down though. People are going to die in every episode like this in some form or another. It's just hard to watch Jax spin so far out of control. He got like this after Opie but he was motivated by Clay being the enemy. Now he's pointing all his hate at Lin but the difference now is that he's not doing it with regard for anyone else. There is no greater purpose to do right by his family, or the club, or even himself, he just wants blood. He's also surrounded by cowboys in Chibs, Tig, Happy, and not even Bobby is saying too much to combat Jax at this point. Jax has no voice of reason in his life and the people who are trying to help him, Nero, Unser, the DA, he's not hearing it. This is what we signed up for this season.

Jax is ruthless and I love it.
However, I feel like it's all building up for Gemma to walk off into the sunset.

This season isn't making sense, honestly.. Almost each main club member has thrown 6 seasons of character development out the window in the last 3 episodes.

Becoming more and more like the Walking Dead every week, I spend the whole week talking about how excited I am for the next episode, then spend the entire episode saying how awful it is.

You begin to lose sight or knowledge of who you are rooting for when a show takes this kind of genocidal action on the world it's created. Like sure were all rooting for Gemma to have her head cut the off with a hammer but were also being made to look at Jax, Chibs, Bobby and the rest and be like man i hope Robocop wipes them off the map when all is said and done. Because in the last episode i felt like damn wouldn't it be nice if Robocop can get back to a smooth and easy warehousing business when all these insane bungholes get done killing each other. And i think that's a little sad. We should get more insight to the turmoil in Jax's brain, through him having flashback conversations with Tara, Clay...something to remind us all there is a human in him, maybe then when it all finally hits him what he's doing and done and what for we can have some sympathy.

Christ, dude... I knew the body count this season was gonna be high, but damn. All in all though, I really enjoyed that episode - the stuff with Tig and Venus was ing killing me. I'm enjoying seeing Gemma starting to crack, talking to Tara and whatnot. Gonna be REAL interesting to see what happens with her and Juice next. Should also be interesting to see how far Jax flies off the handle too.

Juice is prepared for Gemma to try and kill him, and Gemma is gonna try and kill Juice.
The episode was OK.. But this season still seems very 'off' to me.
EDIT: The more I think about this episode and this season, the more I feel like this show doesn't feel like a show about an MC anymore.. It's just a bunch of violence with guys whom happen to ride motorcycles.. And Sutter is aiming for weird just for the sake of being weird.
I wasn't a huge fan of last season, but this season is making last season look like poetry.. I'm hoping that Sutter actually has this all mapped out and there is actual reason behind his chaotic writing, but as of right now he has ditched everything that made this show good, and there is entirely too much 'shock & awe'..

SoA is usually slow off the block. It always gets more interesting near the end and I expect no less from this show.

I didn't realize Courtney Love was the teacher's aide.
Anyone else think that Jury White tipped Lin off? He saw the sawed off shotgun in the van before they did the hit on Lin's men, and he found it when he discovered Gib & Renny dead. I still think one of them was a close relative to White.
And the stuff with Tig & Venus was just waaaaaay to uncomfortable to watch!
