I would firstly like to say congrats to you, I've barely been on this board for long, but I can already see you are a nice guy My favorite Randy Savage match-up of all time is most definitely when he faced the Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania VII. I mean seriously, a career-ending contest, that is remembered by many. I mean you had hall-of-famers surrounded arena: Gorilla Monsoon on commentary, Bobby 'the brain' Heenan on commentary, and the legend that is Howard Finkel. That itself is amazing. But then you have the talent that is The Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage (two of my favorite figures as well :3 ) facing off! Totally aWWEsome. And then with Miss Elizabeth (the best diva figure, in my opinion) in the crowd, you can tell a great match is ahead. Then the entrance music hits! Who's first to come out? Randy Savage, in his blue and white attire, and the black-dressed Sensational Queen Sherri to assist him. The entrance itself is Wrestlemania-worthy. Several men lifting the 'Macho King and Queen' to the ring on seats, fitting their royal personas. They enter the ring, roaring fans and all. Then, the Ultimate Warrior's theme hits, a close up of a fans crowd sign appears, and to no disappointment, Warrior walks to the ring, like usual, pumped up and ready for action! Shaking the ropes back and forth! You can tell how amazing the contest is when you see Macho Man land several diving elbows throughout. Totally amazing and flabbergasting. Was it to be the end of the match? Certainly not! Macho King's expression when he realizes how much he has put his opponent through with his numerous diving elbows and then suddenly a kick-out! That expression is gold! Then, very later on in the match, Warrior hits some miraculous shoulder-spears, sending Macho King out the ring! Warrior helps get him back in the ring, for the one...two...three! Savage is forced to leave the company! And then in some of the ending piece, Miss Elizabeth and Randy Savage make peace and stay happily in love! - to the shame of Sheri - The overall reason why it's my favorite Macho match , is because it was totally momentous , and it was once in a lifetime. Miss Elizabeth and Sheri's rivalry continued and so did Warriors and Savage's. It had an amazing finish and is one of my favorite ever Wrestlemania matches!

Its hard to pick my favorite Savage match, because he had so many memorable matches. He had some great wars with Flair, the MegaPowers colliding was HUGE, and as mentioned earlier the WM3 match with Steamboat is one of if not the best in WrestleMania history.
Even some of his lesser known matches were great. He had a match with Shawn Michaels in 1992 that I really like. This was during Savage's title run and he was really selling his knee during this match. This is one of my main reasons for loving this match, as Savage was a great seller, as he limped through the match trying not to put weight on his leg. Another reason I love the match is cause its one of the few Savage had with Shawn, 2 of my favorites of all time going head to head.
And while we're talking about Savage vs Shawn, who can forget Randy Savage / Bret Hart vs Ric Flair / Shawn Michaels. That was awesome seeing those 2 dream teams together.
But I guess for my favorite Savage match I've gotta repeat what others have said and say Savage vs Warrior at WrestleMania 7 is my favorite Macho Man match. It was my 2 favorite wrestlers at the time, and I didn't want to see either of them loose and go away(At the time I didn't realize Savage would be sticking around to do commentary). And although Savage walked out of the career ending match as the loser, he walked out of WrestleMania 7 as a winner, after reuniting with Elizabeth and turning face / reuniting with the fans in the process.

Macho Man vs. Hogan at WM5. I loved them together as the Mega Powers. Even as a kid I thought Hogan was a creep for "lusting" after Elizabeth. I wanted Savage to kick his butt--didn't happen, but still my favorite match.

WM match vs Flair. The build up to that match blew my mind as a kid. The "pics" of Flair and Liz and then the reveal that they were faked, great stuff.
I remember getting the WWF magazine and looking at all the Flair and Liz pics and staring at them. It was the first time, that I recall, a storyline went into someone's personal life. Not just talking about it. Really helped with the intensity of the match.
Plus the match itself was incredible to me. Flair can do wonders in the ring and that really made it a great match.
Thanks for doing this giveaway. And happy wfigs anniversary :-)

My Favorite Savage match was probably when He teamed with Mr, Perfect to defeat Razor Ramon and Ric Flair by DQ at Survivor Series 1992. This was my favorite match of his because this was my first full-match that I saw of Savage, Hennig and Razor. By the way thanks for the giveaway, and congrats on one year!

My favorite match including Randy Savage is:...
Macho Man Randy Savage vs Bret The Hitman Hart Saturday Nights Main Event 1987
randy had just turned FACE, honky had the ic belt, the mouth of the south Jimmy hart had his stable of Honky Tonk Man and The Hart Foundation ( ANVIL & BRET ) Hold Randy Savage after a beat down and Honky was about to smash a guitar over Randy's head... THEN ELIZABETH ran into the ring and stood in front of Honky and the guitar....THE FANS IN AWE and SHOCK as HONKY SHOVED Liz to the ground then proceeded to smash the gimmick over Randy's head...
it was time for Randy Savage to gain his revenge, so the cocky heel and tag team specialist BRET HART was the opponent for MACHO MAN.. randy battled against Bret...and Bret worked randy's leg so well, Macho Man took of his wrestling boot and finished the match with one foot in only a sock!!
it was a fun, exciting match, believable, and great commentary by VINCE MCMAHON & JESSE VENTURA.... great crowd reactions..and so much meaning behing the revenger theory..
just think.. imo the two overall best in ring workers ( along with Perfect & HBK ).. in the ring... they never had more matches.. i believe BRET recently mentioned he regrets not having singles action with RANDY..
well i will never forget the hype and the pre-match promos backstage .. NO SHOW in WWE history had better pre and post match interview segments then SNME... and i'm 30 yrs old too so i'm sure you understand brother
for those of you who will say Randy had better " 5 star" matches.. i agree.. but sumtimes the star rating, or the work rate isn't the only important thing... this match had everything, most importantly it looked and felt believable.. you hoped for RANDY to avenge the suffering of his woman ELIABETH.. BUT HOW could he overcome the " PIP-squeek" jimmy Hart, Jim The Anvil Neidhart, and Honky Tonk Man... only the MACHO MAN could,,,
watch it, you will smile and be entertained..if stories today were done this way, then the upcoming ppv battleground would have thousands of more buys to see daniel bryan avenge his bella.. instead of randy just looking at her!!
thanks for the consideration, i appreciate your enthusiasm for these boards, and figures and our overall sense of brotherhood even if it is behind a computer screen!!
OOOOOH YEA!

my favorite Macho Man match is the one this attire is based off of, Wrestlemania 8. 1988 to 1994 has always been and likely will always be my favorite era of the WWF. Nothing seemed wasted or pointless and everything was more polished than the prior eras. Wrestlemania 8 WILL always be my favorite Wrestlemania, because it was the first live show I ever attended and to this date, the only WWE PPV I've attended. While it's the Piper/Bret bloodbath and the Ultimate Warrior's return (my favorite within the WWF at that time) that sticks with me (as well as the ring malfunctioning during the Bushwhackers/Beverly Brothers dark match, a match that will likely never be seen outside of the 25% or so fans who were able to get into the building through the dasturdly traffic jam early enough to see it), Savage vs. Flair was a top billing of the card. I have the April & June 1992 WWF magazines framed and hanging on my wall, promoting the build up to and the aftermath from Wrestlemania 8. This figure would make a nice piece to go along with those decorations.

if I win, i'd like it shipped loose
my favourite Macho Man match was the debut of "Macho Man" Randy Savage at The Wrestling Classic in a 16-tournament for the Intercontinental Title
Thoughts: it was his debut, and without it, where would have his stardom worked? NJPW? ECW? I don't think so

I've gotta say, thanks for doing this! I haven't found Elite 23 yet, and Macho was one of the figures I really wanted. My favorite match is actually the match from Mania VIII, that this attire is based on. I was a huge Savage fan as a child, and I also liked Flair...and to me they blended together so well.

Might get some flack for this, but my earliest memories are some of my fondest. So, my favorite Macho Man match was the 'Match made in Heaven' at summerslam '91. I was around then that I got my first wrestling magazine and it hyped that ppv from cover to cover, so it was pretty influential on me. Plus. His feud with Jake the Snake shortly after pretty much traumatized me.
Thanks for the opportunity and here's to many more years of your perfect presence on the boards!

Favorite Savage match....
Bash at the Beach, 1996 - Savage/Sting/Lex Lugar VS. The Outsiders - Hall & Nash...
So much at stake, so much drama - and the four guys (Savage, Sting, Hall & Nash) all brought heart to this match - they gave it their all. Luger went out in the first five minutes, so I don't really include him in this....
Awesome match - and Savage is an underrated player in it, but it was one of his finest efforts.

Unconventional here... but WrestleMania X vs. Crush in the Falls Count Anywhere Match. It wasn't a brilliant match, but it was ahead of its time. In fact, the whole WMX PPV was ahead of its time. From the mixed tag match, brother v. brother, ladder match, etc. Of course other matches of the Macho Man's career will were undoubtedly more historic, such as Steamboat, Hogan, DiBiase, Flair, etc., sometimes you just cant explain why a match sticks out in your mind.

My favorite " macho man" randy savage match. Hmmmmm Lordy to be honest this is harder then I thought it would be.
But I would have to say Wrestlemania 3 versus Ricky the Dragon Steamboat I mean it was just such a technical masterpiece and arguably well in my opinion besides shawn micheals vs undertaker the best matchup In wrestlemania history.
I once read about the match and it said that Savage was practicing with Ricky just about all day and I have to say it was totally worth the time. It is up in my list of top 5 greatest matches of all time and rightly so.

My favorite Macho Man match is the one against Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania 7. The match itself was great, the ending with Elizabeth was even better.
I'd like to win this figure cause Swedish TRU dosen't get newer series and 1 Elite here costs the same as 3 Elites in the US. So it would be great to get my hands on it. Thanks for doing this!

The match that I like the most is Savage vs Steamboat at WrestleMania 3. It is one of my favorite matches of all time along with HBK and Flair at WM 24. Steamboat and Savage used their amazing wrestling skills to put on a classic.

This is not only my favorite Macho Man moment but also one of my favorite WWF moments of all time. Its also one of my favorite PPVs of all time. Everything Savage did that day was just amazing. From the different attires to Liz wearing different dresses. I didnt get to see this moment live and actually first discovered it years later on VHS but it just seemed magical. Even watching it years after it happened and not knowing who was going to win the tournament, I never thought Macho was going to win and when he climbed the top rope the final time after the Hogan chair shot, I did and still do get goose bumps.

Wow awesome thanks for doing this and giving someone the opportunity to own that beautiful figure!! I haven't found this one yet and it's my biggest want from e23 as it looks like it's some of mattels best work yet!!
I've gotta say my favorite match has to be savage vs ddp from Halloween havoc 1997. I believe it was in whet they called a Texas death match which is basically a last man standing match. I first saw this match when I was very young and first started watching wrestling and idk both men just captivated me. Savage in the nWo black and white was a pretty awesome era and I remember him cutting an awesome promo in black and white back stage before the match. He told us all to "snap into a slim Jim" which I dearly miss. Those two had one of the best feuds in wcws history and this match is one of their many great encounters. But it sticks with me most because it introduced me to the great randy savage.
