Ok it's not today. My WFIGS one year anniversary is Oct 31, 2012. I've been a wrestling fan all 30 of my years on Earth and always liked to collect things here and there. Especially sports memoribilia. I had started a collection of just Mr Perfect and Rock figures, my 2 favorites of all time.....as all of you know. Those of course were mostly Jakks CS. I didn't get really into it, nor have any plans to, until I saw what Mattel was doing with the line. I couldn't believe how amazing they looked. Well my hobby kicked into a full blown obsession the day I joined this board during a slow, rainy day in my office at work. Ok I'll shut up now. I currently have close to 150 figures, and I owe a lot to you guys through ebay, the classifieds, or info in threads and the figure findings board. I've been able to get most of my legends, flashbacks, and exclusives for great prices through those means. There are a lot of funny, helpful, and overall good people on here and I enjoy checking in day-to-day. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of scumbags on here too! You know who you are lol. Anyways, I have been on the search for a E23 MAcho Man with the blue globe title. I haven't had any luck so far. The one I got from RSC had the black one. The one I found at WM last week had the black one. The one I ordered on WM.com and did site to store.....same thing. So instead of retuning it, I decided to give it away. Others have done this in past, and I have been fortunate enough to win one. To enter all you have to do is name your favorite Macho Man Randy Savage match of all time, and explain why. I will take the ones I like best and randomly draw a winner from those. I will ship it loose for free, first class with tracking. If you want it MOC, you will have to paypal me $7 and I will mail it Priority with tracking. The entry deadline is tomorrow night, as soon as the Battleground ppv ends. SO 11:00 pm est I guess? If you don't have this fig yet, or have had trouple finding it, say that......it may help your cause! Thanks and good luck! And the winner is...................................... The Rig He was the only one that picked the Survivor Series 92 match. Very fitting because this was the first ppv I ever attended. I was 10 years old and my dad took me. I was so pumped for Perfect's return. It was at the old Richfield Colesium in Cleveland. I kinda wish they would go back to the night before Thanksgiving tradition. If I "liked" your post, you were a finalist. Flair/Savage from WM8 is one of my top 3 favorite matches of all time. Even though it wasn't the original plan, their rivalry and chemistry was magic. Insert Perfect's cocky, pivotal role and the fact that Savage sold that leg injury for 7 months.....it was spectacular.

This is a little outside of the box, but my favorite Macho Man match was the "career ending" match at Wrestlemania 7 with the Warrior. I was a big time Macho fan and did not want him to lose this match. The way he lost, with Warrior putting 1 foot on his chest got me so pissed off I started going crazy. And to see him walk away with Elizabeth after the embrace they had was such a special moment.
I do not have this figure and I have never even seen it in stores. The only E23 I have actually seen is Cena, JBL, and Cesaro. I have wanted a Elite Macho for a long, long time.
if I win, you can send it loose.

Savage vs Crush at Wrestlemania 10. Not because it was an excellent match, but because it was the first Wrestlemania I watched live, and because that feud was pretty intense to me at the time. I was nine years old and I still remember watching the RAW when Crush turned on Savage and destroyed him. Savage was bleeding and at the time it was one of the most brutal and exciting things I had ever seen (again, I was only 9, and had been watching wrestling for less than a year). So yeah, that match being the resolution to that feud will always stick out to me and hold a special place in my heart. That, and Savage hanging Crush upside down from that pulley was kinda neat too lol.
PS: This is the only flashback I need from Elite 23... a series I'm yet to find in stores. Either way though, thanks for doing this!

Nice gesture and since I already have the figure, I'll won't enter.

Thank you for doing this if I win I would like it shipped loose. My favorite Mach Man match of all time is Macho Man vs Ricky Steamboat for the IC Belt at WM3 because it was a match for a belt that used to mean something and they put on the greatest WM match every. This match really put Macho Man on the map to become a really good wrestle. If you think of the IC Belt you think of the greatest match from WM Macho/Ricky. This match is the best match of Ricky and Macho. I do not think any other match at WrestleMania could be better than this match.

Ironically, WM8 against Flair. I was just really getting interested in WWF at that time, and man did I HATE Flair. It seemed like Savage (who was my favourite at the time) just had the deck so stacked against him with Perfect down there. Probably the most emotionally charged match I had experienced to that point (although his altercation with Jake Roberts at Tuesday in Texas and SNME ranked up there as well at that time). Just a solid piece of work from Savage and Flair that night, best match of WM8 in my opinion.

I have a Blue Globe version headed my way, so I wont enter as I want everyone to have a chance at it and dont want to take up a spot.
However, my favorite Randy Savage match is a tie between his match against Ted Dibiase at Wrestlemania 5 & the entire ordeal at Wrestlemania 7 with him reuniting with Miss Elizabeth.
Congrats on your 1 year anniversary man ! Your an awesome member here and by you doing this shows just how much you appreciate all of us collector family at this forum

I don't know if its my all time favorite, but I really love his match against Jushin Liger. It's one of those matches between two legends that a lot of people never knew happened and that it happened in Japan just adds to the specialness of it.

My favorite Savage match features this very figure. Savage vs my all time favorite wrestler,in the only wrestlemania to occur in my homestate, for the wwf championship. I was thrilled when this figure was unveiled, and equally as bummed that I've found all of E23 but Savage. Blue globe/black globe doesn't matter to me......I just want to commemorate that match with this figure.
Thanks for the opportunity and should I win, I will take the loose shipping.

Superbrawl 6 - Cage Match for the WCW Championship vs. Ric Flair
The feud that spanned nearly half a decade, finally came full circle in a steel Cage. Flair had disgraced Savage's own father over the past year, and had his sight's set not only on the Macho Man's title, but his valet Miss Elizabeth. With Woman by his side, Flair claimed he would not only walk out of Superbrawl with the WCW belt, but with Woman on one arm, and Elizabeth on the other. Flair had made these boasts before, so no one thought it would come to fruition. It was time for Savage to shut Flair up once and for all. After a ferocious back and forth battle inside the cage, Elizabeth did the unthinkable, and slipped her shoe through the cage door to Flair. After a shot to Savage's head with Liz's high heel, Flair got the pinfall, the belt and the lady. I sincerely believe this match, and the events surrounding it, were the beginning of the Madness to come.....
Really cool you're doing this! This is the only Mattel Savage figure I lack, and probably his best scan yet. Definitely my most wanted figure at the moment! I'm crossing my fingers!

WM 5 vs Hogan
Savage played the heel champion so well on this feud and drew major heat. The crowd at Mania that night was begging for savage to get his! Even though savage lost that night (as any good heel should at WM) I thought it was a great culmination to a feud that was almost 8 months in the making, and was also one of hogans best matches I think. Plus, savage had a tremendous six year run at WrestleManias and this match was right in the middle of it. He stole the show with stramboat at 3, won the title at 4, headlined with hogan at 5, first ever inter gender tag match with rhodes at 6 (ok not so great but still entertaining), gave warrior his best match at 7 and the enotional reuniting with liz, and then co main evented with flair at 8. Whether heel or face, savage was truly an all time great.

Awesome!
I have a few fav savage matches, especially with his feud vs hogan but tbh my fav macho memories were in his feud vs ddp.
Halloween Havoc was one of my fav matches. The build up to it and the story telling was so much fun to watch. It helped build ddp to a superstar and macho was so great as a heel.

It's no technical masterpiece, as the match itself is maybe 5 minutes long at the most, lol... Hilariously, the most 'memorable' Macho Man match for me was on WCW Monday Nitro - July 7, 1997 -- Macho Man (w/ Liz and Scott Hall) vs. La Parka .. What everyone thought was a typical squash match, was the complete opposite. In Tony Schiavone's own words, "one of the biggest moments in the history of our sport!" "La Parka" would get the victory over Savage, but as it turns out, DDP was in La Parka's ring gear/mask the whole time. I remember watching it live that night and totally flipped out when the "upset" happened. From Scott Hall "tip toeing" down the aisle taunting Larry Zbyszko, to the surprise of the actual match outcome .. I just absolutely loved it and ate it up with a spoon. The actual DDP/Savage series of matches in WCW were definitely some of my all-time favorite WCW matches, and I'm sure people know about them, but I wanted to bring this particular match into the limelight just one time.
