I see all these books listed, but does no one know the authors that wrote their respective books? I'll list two that inspired me a great deal and changed my point of view on life. Authors included.. Childhood's End by Arthur C. Clarke & Ishmael by Daniel Quinn Yes but do you really need to be told some of these authors?

Sorry, to me, listing a book without the author is like listing a song without the band, or artwork without the artist. Give credit where it is due!

Sorry, to me, listing a book without the author is like listing a song without the band, or artwork without the artist. Give credit where it is due! Big difference. Artists cover each others work. I could tell you "Always on my mind" is a great song, but both Elvis and Willie Nelson had hits with it in completely different genres. Who's version am I talking about? If I tell you that "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" is a great book, there's only one. It's not like multiple people have written the same book.

Definitely A Game of Thrones. I've never been addicted to a book before but I definitely was with that one.

You can find out who did whatever, whenever with the click of the mouse. I guess I'm just old fashioned in thinking it was customary to list book with author. And getting back on topic, two more for the hell of it..... A Million Little Pieces by James Frey & Tropic of Cancer by Henry Miller

Wow. Too many WFers seem to have not had any exposure to good literature. Animal Farm is the book I have enjoyed the most. Read it multiple times now and I can honestly say I enjoy it as much if not more each time. Jesus Christ... You must have like no friends.

Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell Awesome read. You can't go wrong with anything by Gladwell, really. Don't have a clear-cut personal favorite book that jumps out in my mind, but some of the frontrunners would be: Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky Dune by Frank Herbert Child of God by Cormac McCarthy ...it changes pretty frequently, though.

In Cold Blood by Truman Capote. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it.

I think I'll re-read it soon. I love To Kill A Mockingbird. And ofc Harry Potter, which I grew up with. My absolute favourite has to be Gatsby though. I've read it a few times and it gets better with every reading.
