I'd very much like to see the six sided ring return. I always thought it gave them their own unique feel. Thing is... TNA needs to hire/rehire talent to utilize it more or it will be all for nothing.

I think they should move to a hot bed city like Philly or Chicago in an arena they can fill and stay there. Or rotate between Chicago, UK, Philly, and NYC. They need to go in a more modern way. Have pyro for the opening and smoke and lights. Maybe have a unique tunnel entrance like they used to. Have backstage interviews for build up that last 3 minutes, have a similar to WCW entrance camera work where the camera guys walk backwards while filming them. Keep the twitter mentions and facebook mentions but have them be short and the twitter trending just a 30 second mention if that. Bring back the 6 sided ring. Have hate filled feuds and have the main events end clean 70% of the time. Instead of having the heel cheat to win always, have them get a lucky break after being dominated and within a few minutes have them get the win. Have low blows result in a DQ if caught but not eye pokes or the likes.

TNA using the 6 sided ring did make the company look unique, but I also think it took away the feeling that it was a wrestling federation. If TNA wants to strictly just worry about TNA and compete with itself - in that making it become better - than yes, go back to the 6 sides. If they think they can truly compete with the WWE or at least have that mind set, they need the normal 4 sided ring. I totally agree

Back to looking desperate and trying to keep peoples attention - Whatever works really (doesn't bother me if they bring it back.) But this 'rehire talent' thing is bad. Why can't they continue to bring in new guys? They bring in the best of the X-DIvision every couple of months. Petey, TJ, Sonjay, etc.etc. Would you rather see Dreamer, Raven and Sabu back?

Permanently, no.

God I hope not. That stupid ring made TNA completely uninteresting. Keep that garbage in Mexico

In watching the 2005 year for TNA ppvs, one thing did occur to me....
TNA raided the Chocolate Shark out of ROH. Samoa Joe, Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, Alex Shelley, then TNA regulars who were also ROH regulars like AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels was making TNA worth watching. They had the old WCW vibe to it. How people would watch WCW for Benoit, Jericho, Malenko, Mysterio, but still watched Hogan vs. Savage, or Piper vs. Flair. TNA was getting rave reviews for the X-Division matches, but people still watched Jarrett vs. Raven, or Christian vs. Abyss.
TNA does need to re-build the X-Division. I realized it when seeing that at Bound For Glory, Sabin, Aries, Joe and Hardy were in the X-Division Title match. All, who in the past 5 years have been TNA World Champion. They should not be back in that division.
TNA could do with signing some past stars. Alex Shelley, Sonjay Dutt, Petey Williams, and Homicide come to mind. But the new stars TNA did bring in for the X-Division, guys like Christian York and Joey Ryan, were perfect! Yet, they let them go, but still feel that ex WWE stars are worth money.
I am actually good friends with "Showtime" Eric Young, we grew up together and were best of friends as children, and he told me once that TNA takes the WWE's garbage. And I believe it for the most part.
Guys like Angle, Christian Cage, Team 3D, Booker T, that was good for TNA business. But taking Derek Bateman and calling him Ethan is not good for business.
TNA was on the right path in 2011, when Austin Aries vs. Bobby Roode feud was happening, but they had to ruin that by giving the belt to Jeff Hardy, who doesn't need it at all, and is probably only in TNA because his merchandise sales to little girls.
It's like TNA almost gets it, and then they just go a complete direction and us fans are left sitting there going "why...?!?! Why would you do that?!?! I enjoyed what was going on for your product!!" So here's hoping that TNA finally gets it again.

I'd mark out if the show started and the Six Sided ring was there on Thursday with TNA chants from the crowd and AJ comes out with the title.

Agreed, Talent first... Ring discussion second. However the, " WE WANT SIX SIDES!" chant in Dixie's face every now 'n then couldn't hurt to try. I'd love to hear that from the audience again.

I've always said that TNA lost its identity with the six sided ring. I hope very much that this is true.
If I had the money to buy TNA, the first thing I would do is bring back the six sided ring.

It would be awesome to get the Six Sided Ring back and get rid of that awful entrance ramp. I've always hated that ramp and it takes away some of the high flying moves in the X-division. And it's funny how WWE fans keep complaining about "TNA going out of business" so they predict the future now? That's weird that WWE fans can do that. x) TNA can get back to where they left off in 2009 when they were just getting there as a major company before Hogan and Biscoff came in and ruined everything. I have a feeling AJ Styles is going to be feuding with Ethan sometime later on since apparently "gimmick wise" Dixie Carter is his Aunt.

It was a joke. Don't be angry with all of us, jees. I'm sorry, but everywhere I go, all I hear is "TNA's going out of business" and "TNA doesn't have money" and "TNA doesn't sell tickets" and I'm really sick of it. If people don't want to just talk TNA, then don't. Also, everyone who says bad things about TNA can't back anything they say up. Why do people think TNA's going out of business? Because they're losing money? Who cares, Dixie's daddy is funding it. TNA DOES have money. And everybody keeps saying because they didn't sell out BFG that they suck, and people keep comparing it to WWE and they're two different things completely. Do you work for TNA? I could understand because you seem to be taking everything you stated very personal. If you're a long time fan of TNA, you would know that TNA has never been given a chance. I've heard Jeff Jarrett say numerous times, at their first show, critics didn't give them 6 weeks til they closed up shop. Here we are 11 years later, and they're still here. And why not another 11? I won't reiterate all of it, but TNA has done several things in the last few months alone that would make one think they aren't exactly a healthy company. Hell, I picked up the PWI 500 today, and on the very first page Stu Saks talks about TNA's financial woes. I'm not here to argue, I'm here to state my opinion. And that's the risk you take coming on this wrestling forum; reading others opinions on this sport we love, and you may agree, or may not, or might not want to hear them at all as you said.....but why even bother? And yes I liked the 6 sided ring and no I don't see it coming back.

Never said I wanted old washed up ECW guys. Don't quite understand where you got that from. I meant hire new young stars AND rehire stars like Lethal, Williams, Young Bucks, and Dutt permanently to the main roster. Talent that can showcase what made the 6 sides so intriguing in the first place.

I understand people are allowed to share their opinions, but this thread has nothing to do with any of the money things people keep talking about. It's just about them bringing back the 6 sided ring. That's it. Not their roster, not their owner, not their money, not their arena(s), not their PPVs, not their money, JUST THE RING SET UP.

So, TNA's back to 6 Sides AND Orlando...
Positive? Negative?
Hogan got rid of the 'Playpen.' But now Hogan's gone... Interesting actually. Very interesting.
