So, TNA's back to 6 Sides AND Orlando... Positive? Negative? Hogan got rid of the 'Playpen.' But now Hogan's gone... Interesting actually. Very interesting. Positive.

No Hogan. No Russo.
6 Sided Ring is back. Orlando is back.
No Nash, no Steiner, No jarret... No Devon... The only WWE 'rejects' that people bitch about is Hardy and Angle.

It's very much "we tried to grow, it failed, now we're coming home with our tail between our legs." If downsizing back to being ROH with a different ring and better production values stops the company going out of business and lets them pay talent on time, that's a positive. But it's also a case of them admitting that they're never going to get any bigger than that and that they failed to expand, which is a negative.

Jarrett is still very much with the company. He owns 29% of TNA, but he is working behind the scenes these days. I think a Jarrett in ring return would be amazing though.

I don't know why Hogan was so gung ho to move TNA from the Impact Zone in the first place. WCW was taping Saturday Night, Main Event and World Wide in Orlando well into the Monday Night Wars and WWF was still taping in Allentown throughout the boom period of the 80's. Hell NWA taped all of their shows with the exceptions of PPVs at their studios in Atlanta, AWA had the Showboat Pavillion, ECW had the ECW Arena. These were all successful companies at the time. There is nothing wrong with having a homebase. TNA needs to stop trying to compete with WWE (which is what Hogan was trying to do) and start trying to build their own brand. If Hogan's departure along with a move back to Orlando allows them to do this, then great!

I don't know why Hogan was so gung ho to move TNA from the Impact Zone in the first place. For years, people on the Internet (and TNA wrestlers) were saying that TNA needed to move out of the Impact Zone to move forward as a company. It looked small-time and the fans there were the worst. Eventually, the company listened. When TNA announced they were doing that, everyone thought that they must have figured out a way to do it that made financial sense. As it turned out, they hadn't figured it out at all, and they were losing money hand over fist running WWE-sized venues.

There are smaller venues, like the ones ECW ran. There would only be 1,000 or 1,500 people on hand, but the places looked jam packed. If they would have ran one of those venues for BFG, the place would have looked insane. Mike Tenay could have went on and on about having to turn fans away and all that stuff. There have been tons of bad decisions made everywhere. I think settling into a homebase is a great idea for now. For selfish reasons, I would love to see them return to the Asylum. They ran weekly live shows there and the place was filled every week.

They ran weekly live shows there and the place was filled every week. I'd be all for the Asylum. However personally I'd rather see them in Chicago or NYC. A Hotbed for activity. Personally of those 2 I'd choose Chicago. I'd have a guy dress in a hoodie and wear a certain Classic mask of his. Then have him jump over the guard rail on the very first Chicago show. Have the cameras turn away as he man handles the security guys and the crowds getting rambunctious possibly booing. Then have one of the security guards take off the mask with the stage screen showing it's Colt Cabana and the commentators saying nothing. Just have the crowd chanting Colt Cabana. Then start the next weeks show with the crowd chanting we want Colt Cabana. Have them ignore it then have Dixie come out and announce that there will be a Television Championship match of EC3 vs. anyone in the crowd because the guys in the back are to scared to face him. Have Cabana hop over when they are calling on someone else and have Dixie go silent. Have the fan slide in the ring. Take off the AJ Styles hoodie and Sting mask and the crowd just erupts. Have cabana win the title giving EC3 his first loss. The crowd would go crazy and Cabana would be an instant star.

the 6 sides was cool at first, but overall a completely needless gimmick. i personally don't like it, as it throws off the natural dynamics to north american wrestling. and i don't see how that's what 'made tna tna' considering i was enjoying them for years with the 4 sides previous.
and tna's product is abhorrently bad most of the time these days. good talent can't make gold out of garbage. i was very interested in certain talents initially, such as austin aries, but tna has killed my attempt at interest in their product time and time again.
