Because she has no talent whatsoever and doesn't deserve to be where she is today Not like anyone is forcing you to listen or pay attention to her. I don't care for her music either but I'm not going to crusade against her like a lot of people do when they dislike someone. It's not worth my time or energy to be upset or hateful. ...You win this round, Slapster

I know I feel better letting go of being bitter and upset about every little thing.

Because we watch oily men in the underwear hug and roll around moaning and yelling in a ring? That argument doesn't quite work considering people love UFC, or, as I call it, Extreme Cuddling. Yeah but they don't have baby oil all over them though. Then again, wrestling > UFC any day of the week.

So what do they do? Every time she says or does something it's big news there. But then they also post stuff about how people should stop paying attention to her. Maybe if they took their own advice they'd see some results.

I think it always goes back to wrestling being pre-determined.

Because we like to watch oiled-up men in underwear roll around pretending to fight.

Ive been meeting huge wrestling fans like myself more often these days. While in school I found that the wrestling fans usually flocked together. I do believe that wrestling is still popular...... I guess not in schools (Im not sure what these kids are into these days with their Yolo and punching people in the face for fun)

There's one reason wrestling fans are looked down upon. Saying stupid things like this. People who dislike MMA usually have that opinion because they either don't like violence or they're uneducated as to how organized MMA actually is. You're uneducated in a completely different matter. I already regret replying to this and getting involved in one of these conversations.

Dr. System, that's totally fine.
See what you did there? You voiced your opinion without being rude.
Why can't everyone do that?

I know it's a cliché, but insecure people put down others to feel better about themselves. That goes far beyond wrestling. Why do people look down on music produced by women like Ke$ha, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj? Why do people look down on celebrities for being human and not living up to some expectation they've conjured up? Why do people look down on *insert thing here*? Because It's the cool thing to do. I love Ke$ha, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj

I used to hear this argument many many years ago but not today. Maybe people think it's a kid show and kids think it's real? So then people think that adults who watch it are like kids intelligence? Like it's childish or something?

Like it's childish or something? i could see that, but anyone who doesn't get it, i usually explain it to them in a way they could understand. When i'm told its fake i usually reply with yes so is everything else on TV (And most of life for that matter) Still what i'm trying to say is if you explain it to them i'm sure people will at least understand the reason you watch it.

I already regret replying to this and getting involved in one of these conversations. It was a joke about how a majority of their fights are spent in holds on the ground. Whether you found it funny or not has nothing to do with my intelligence. In fact, it was a joke I stole from The Colbert Report, so it isn't even my joke. If you had bothered to read my initial response to the question, you'd know that I had valid reasons for both the stigma against wrestling fans and my personal dislike of MMA, boxing, and anything of the like. I mean, for Christ's sake, it was the first response; you don't even have to search for it. Also, notice I specifically said UFC and not MMA. I realize that different organizations do things differently, and most (especially foreign) promotions are much more fast-paced.

What you said in the initial response has nothing to do with this. I quoted a specific response, a response in which you were rude, a response which answers the topic starter's question perfectly.
