Would anyone buy a Mattel Ronnie Garvin figure? Maybe come with a towel and the "hammer jammer" accessory? 89 roster feels naked without him!

I wouldnt myself but I know a lot of people who would. I dont think Mattel is as dedicated to a sort of 'Classic' series as Jakks was. I mean we really got some interesting names in the Classic Superstars series. Mattel could honestly have had a vast series after they waded through the top legend names. I'm still holding out that they may make a Wendi Richter

Even though the quality was garbage compared to Mattel, it was nice to have such an array of superstars and gimmicks. We were close to completing so many years. Haha.

Damn, you cats are on some old-school sh*t. Well said. I think Mattel has made it pretty clear that the only legends/flashbacks that make sense are the big names.

I might pick up a Ronnie Garvin if he came in wrestling attire with some cloth pants and ref shirt as accessories. Its a mighty big IF though.

Even though I watched him as a youngster, I don't think I'll pick up his figure.

Haven't even heard that name mentioned in forever.... I'm cool with anything old school we can get but he isn't really on my list of wants. I'd estimate roughly zero chance of a mattel version though. Better grab a custom.

Well said. I think Mattel has made it pretty clear that the only legends/flashbacks that make sense are the big names. And that stinks After seeing the past year or two of a couple of you guys begging for some of the older 80s guys I decided to check out some of the wrestling that was before my time and I kind of agree. There was some REALLY good wrestling before the Hulkamania era. I think its about time to add a few more after these next few attitude era figures. Mattel did do a decent job in my opinion of getting atleast a handful from every era/promotion so far. ECW doesn't have much at all though, I wouldn't mind a few from there then a couple from the 80s.
