He was incredibly dull, especially his feud with the Hammer, but yes, of course I would buy a fig of him. I want figs of everybody! Which we got from Jakks, but ain't getting from Mattel. Sir, I respectfully beg to differ.... the feud with Greg "The Hammer" Valentine was all kinds of fun - which resulted in Garvin losing a retirement match to Valentine, coming back as a ring announcer, then a referee, screwing Valentine out of a win against Superfly Snuka on Saturday Night's Main Event - culminating in a fun, hard-hitting, surprisingly phsychological match at the Royal Rumble that Garvin won by using "The Hammer Jammer" - a fun rip-off of the infamous "shin-brace" that Valentine always wore...... This feud was a LOT more fun than anything WWE's doing today.... but dull? I think not... I did a post about this fun feud a few months ago... check it out for some of the videos, etc. It's a little more than half-way down this page... forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/291318/little-unpopular-feuds-liked

I'd rather have Miss Atlanta Lively
And for all you youngsters, that was Garvin in drag when he teamed with the Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant......

It was great to see the pop Garvin got after forcing Valentine to submit to the sharpshooter at the Rumble.

I actually never even knew it was Garvin until I was much older. It still gives me the creeps watching old footage of Miss Atlanta Lively bleeding profusely in some of those old matches, just as it did when I was a kid, thinking it was an actual woman at the time.....
