At no time did I claim Batista was as big as the Rock. (Reread it if ya need) All I'm saying is I could see WWE bending over backwards to have Batista under their banner by the time the movie is released. Makes sense if you think about it. And yeas Brock vs Show was horrible. But it served it's purpose. And that was to make Lesnar seem even more indestructible before he is fed to Taker at Wrestlemania. So I should complain and cry instead of being realistic? And even though I enjoyed ( the majority of) the Rumble, I should follow the crowd and pretend I didn't? Gotcha. Thanks dad. I reread and still sounds like you are saying that "IF GOTG is a big hit, he will be up there." Perhaps I misunderstood, but thats how I am reading it. 100% agreed and have stated having Batista back in the fold is a smart move. Brock/Show didnt cement anything to me. It was Brock being Brock. I assure you, at no time was I implying that Batista was or is gonna be as big as the Rock. Like you said GOTG will most likely be a big hit. And I could see why WWE would want one of the biggest stars in the movie to be under the WWE banner. And IF that is the case I'm sure that they may have offered him a WM Main Event to sweeten the deal. Again... I'm just speculating.

I think the thing that bums me out the most about the Rumble is that there wasn't a switch-a-roo with the Rumble finish. I was expecting something like a couple years back when everyone was calling Jericho to win the Rumble and at the last minute they went with Sheamus. I honestly thought Reigns was going to win when it was down to him and Batista. Very disappointed in that finish. Now Reigns has no friends and no title shot. Now that there's only one title, don't expect many switch-a-roos anymore.

It makes the title mean more. I think it is good to have only one title. The idea is to make it actually mean something when the title changes hands not have it be a hot potato or downgrading it with two World Champions like what was happening for years.

I would expect Batista to be in a premiere match. But its unnecessary, undeserved and unnerving that he is in THE match at Mania.

If there were two titles, Roman could have won the Rumble yesterday. If there were two titles, Bryan could have been in and won the Rumble yesterday. If there were two titles, Orton and Cena wouldn't have wrestled yesterday. Literally all of everyone's problems from yesterday could have been solved if there were two titles.

The WWE already has so much dead weight they they have no clue what to do with it. See, this is what happens when Vince McMahon kills all the other companies. You all wanted the WWE to win well there you go.

That was my first thought. I would have loved see Reigns win the Rumble, then have Rollins win the IC near Elimination Chamber. Reigns wins the WHC at WM30 then they break up the next night and each goes solo.

See, this is what happens when Vince McMahon kills all the other companies. You all wanted the WWE to win well there you go. That's not the problem. WWE just needs all of their programs to be easily accessible (and they will be next month). Two titles for two major shows makes sense. The rest of the under-card can be utilized on smaller shows.

There should be no more then 4 belts in the company. That's it.
World, Intercontiental, Tag, and Womans. Since the woman are really doing nothing they should scrap that and bring in a TV Title or something like that. No more then 4 titles. anymore downgrades what they mean or should mean. The idea should be to make it as old school style as possible, make it actually mean something again.

That is the problem, You have tons of dead weight on the roster who can't go anywhere else and make the same money. If there were other options that actually mattered they could go to those places and get over but as it is they rot or are not used at all.

WWE has talent and has finally roped all of their shows together. I expect the quality will change once the Network launches.

Be in a premiere match at Mania or... Be in the WWE Undisputed World Championship match at WM?? Of coarse they want him back for publicity purposes. And if they wanted him bad enough, I'm sure they would say or do whatever was necessary to get him back.

Ideas from 25 or 30 years ago don't work anymore for anything, not just wrestling.

WWE's stock hit an all time high while he was gone. The Rock returned. The garnered major main stream publicity. They will have no issues with WM, axxess, ratings, ticket sales, etc. with or without Batista.
