I saw a thread like this and got the idea. Comment the name of the artists/groups, the type of music they make (I'm going by what iTunes describes their music as), your favorite song from them, and why you chose them. For me, I'd have to chose Katy Perry (Pop) as number one for multiple reasons. Her music is so diverse, meaning she sings about various topics. She's also always fun and bright. You could say I Stan for Katy Perry. My favorite Katy Perry song is either Last a Friday Night, Dark Horse, or Part of Me. My number two is Beyoncé (Pop) for the simple fact the she's extremely talented. My favorite Beyoncé song is Flawless. Just cause. My number three is Lorde (Alternative). Every piece of music she's written has deep meaning to it. I think she has potential to be an amazing, popular artist. My favorite song by Lorde is White Teeth Teens. It hasn't been on the radio yet, but if you like her you'll like this song. My number four is Macklemore (Rap). I don't usually listen to rap music, but I really like him. His music is always good...with the exception of thrift shop which is fun but weird. My favorite song by Macklemore is White Walls. My number five is Little Mix (Pop). They were on the X-Factor either in Britain or here in America I'm not quite sure. They're all phenomenal singers. My favorite Little Mix song is Salute. Now it's your turn.

Brand New, Neutral Milk Hotel, Pink Floyd, Childish Gambino, Lana Del Rey.
Not necessarily my top five favorite artists, but I'm going for diversity here.
