WWE aren't taking Hardy back, after seeing this Willow crap... I can get that some people don't like the Willow stuff, but I do...I think it's pretty cool and different. It's straight out of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland mixed in with Marilyn Manson to me...perhaps that's why I like it so much.

Willow is easily one of the best things on TNA tv right now. Give me 2 hours of Willow, EC3, Bad Influence, Aries, The Wolves and Samuel Shaw and I'm happy.

Yeah just saw that myself... smh Seems like it's to be expected now anyway. Shame, because there was potential with this new transitional period, but TNA's paying for Bischoff & Hogan's sins by the overspending. Ah yeah seen it now, cheers. Good for Sabin telling them where to shove it, but damn... Anyone else feel nervous at every announcement like this? I was too young to appreciate WCW's final days, but I'd imagine this must be at least a bit similar. To me, this reminds me of ECW's final days where they barely had any mainstream stars minus Rob Van Dam and they were losing money and were barely paying the talent (in TNA's case, checks coming in weeks late from what I heard). With WCW, what killed them was the merger between Time Warner and AOL with AOL wanting nothing to do with wrestling. Spike TV actually supports TNA, despite only delivering 0.8's-1.0's. So honestly, this looks more like ECW's situation in 2001. I don't see TNA dying anytime soon unless Spike TV wants nothing to do with TNA. I think the day Spike TV gets rid of Impact will be the day TNA will be at it's final steps of closing. If Jarrett's company manages to get national TV exposure sooner than expected and if they manage to get a couple of stars that will attract a little bit on mainstream attraction, then TNA should be more scared than they should be. Ah right, that makes total sense. Good comparisons there. Part of me feels a bit sad to hear this is happening, but at the same time I'm wanting to see how the situation pans out. If they don't resign with TNA I hope they go to Jarretts promotion.

I'm glad the tna talent is leaving. Tna doesn't deserve good talent like Sabin daniels kaz etc. They've jerked these guys around so Much and buried them for the next www reject or celebrity schmuck that no one should blame them. I'm sure they probably won't go to wwe but would be nice for them to get a rejuvination in gfw.

I will never forget when Hogan and Bischoff came to TNA, how they made Daniels lose to Sean Morley, only for Morley to leave two months later. I wanna say great that they left because it leaves room for fresh talent, but it's sad that they're leaving cause they are/were long term TNA talent and if these guys leave, there really isn't much left on the roster for fans to get excited for. Sure there will always be fans who will watch TNA no matter what, but the guys who left or are about to leave are guys people mostly wanted to see on TNA. This is pretty bad for TNA, but that what happens when you have a dope for an owner like Ditzy Dixie.

We're getting awfully sidetracked here guys. The thread has become less about Young's title win & more about all the problems in TNA. Don't make me lock it cause we don't get traffic like this too often nowadays.

I'm willing to give it a chance and see where it goes. Now I personally believe it was a horrible mistake to make Eric Young, who's mostly a comedy character, the World title, but I'll see where it goes.

I think TNA is going to be bought by WWE at some point in the near future Here's hoping. On topic, and I don't know what to say...Eric Young to me, is just...meh...his best work IMO was as part of the World Elite, but even then, did I not think he'd be considered for the World title...5 years later, and now...wow, another sign that TNA make kneejerk desperate reactions to WWE in hopes of flow on attention.

I like Eric Young. I've always found him entertaining. That being said, I do not think he should be the World champion. Your Championship title should be prestigious, not a lifetime achievement award.
This is further proof that TNA is in dire need for another mid-card championship. For guys who don't go in the X-Division, but aren't World championship caliber either.

I was listening to the download to the Don Tony and Kevin Castle Show today. I was waiting for Don Tony and Kevin Castle to talk about this. I was actually surprised that Kevin Castle did not bash Eric Young. I mean both of them bashed TNA management. They both even gave credit for how Eric Young is a good entertainer and that he gets that he's there to entertain. They did bash the way he won the title and the storyline involved with his title win. Hopefully TX Trax posts the audio for them talking about it cause it was a good conversation where they went a different way of talking about it than I thought and if TV Trax posts this conversation on YouTube, I recommend everyone here who either bashed his title win or praised Eric Young to listen, even if you aren't fans of theres.
