Arrow is such a damn good show. I can't wait to see what happens this season, episode one was really good. The ending shocked me. Spoilers below... I'm assuming it was Ra's Al Ghul that killed Sara. Really hate to see her go, but it makes for a great coming season. I was thinking it was Malcolm making his return.

I don't think it was Malcolm, whoever it was Sara knew the person. I'm thinking maybe it was Ra's, Komodo, or another character she knew.

Brainiac rumored to be Justice Leagues villian. Thoughts? Maybe he'll eventually build a giant robotic spider to walk around in....

Brainiac will be awesome. If rather it be Darseid. It was a joke based off the unmade Superman project by Tim Burton.

It was a joke based off the unmade Superman project by Tim Burton. Ah over my head mate. Sorry not all that familiar with the project aside from Cage being cast. Kevin Smith penned the first draft of the Cage/Burton Superman movie and the producer of the film had multiple meetings with Kevin Smith to tell him that the villain had to be a "giant spider".. So after Smith gave up trying to push for other proper villains he gave in and decided to use Brainiac so he could incorporate somehow a giant spider that could walk around fighting Superman... This same producer was also the main producer on that infamous box office bomb 'Wild Wild West' starring Will Smith.. And the bad guy indeed used a giant robotic spider. This guy was also a producer on 'Man of Steel'.. His name is Jon Peters.

I had totally forgotten about Peters and that spider story...... When you listen to Kevin Smith tell the story, it really puts into perspective what most of us already know, which is how so far out of touch alot of the major producers in Hollywood actually are.. Every now and then we get a Kevin Feige, Lauren Shuler Donner, or Kathleen Kennedy.. But most of the powers that be are total ing morons. Thankfully more and more talented directors are becoming rich enough to become producers, pushing out the business minds that have absolutely no creative capability whatsoever. It really is a giant problem when the people with all the money, all the power, and the final say on your artistic vision have no artistic competence.

Warner Bros CEO Kevin Tsujihara has confirmed the studio's huge slate of DC Superhero films, including announcements of solo Superman and Batman films, as well as a Justice League sequel and a Green Lantern reboot.
Wall Street Journal reporter Ben Fritz has listed the following announcements on Twitter from a Warner Bros shareholders call held by Tsujihara...
Suicide Squad in 2016 Wonder Woman in 2017 Justice League, directed by Zack Snyder in 2017 The Flash, starring Ezra Miller in 2018 Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa in 2018 Justice League 2, directed by Zack Snyder in 2019 Shazam, starring Dwayne Johnson in 2019 Cyborg starring Ray Fisher in 2020 Green Lantern reboot in 2020 New Superman and Batman solo movies were also announced.
---------------------------------------------------
So DC have their plans all laid out it looks like, I'm now liking the fact WW is in Batman vs Superman as they can build her up more in her movie then they'll have a group for Justice League and introduce Flash/Aquaman who they can build in their own movies. I'm really liking this lay out by DC

Ezra Miller as absolutely horrible casting for The Flash. Guy is a great up and coming actor but he's not Barry and he's definitely not Wally. This was a Fantastic 4 move imo. Seems like casting for the sake of casting someone off the wall.
DC is going to fall on their face with stuff like Suicide Squad and Cyborg. People don't even know what that stuff is outside of the comic book realm. I don't get it. Do a stand alone Batman movie, do another Superman movie, and then go do Justice League. I don't know that Wonder Woman can even sustain a solo film. I mean she better deliver in Superman/Batman.
I'm excited for Affleck and Momoa but I'm really turned off by how the entire DC film situation has been handled.

With you on this one. I think they're trying to take a Guardians-esque risk but with no track record to back up their product. Did anyone (outside of the comic world) have a clue who the GOTG were? No, but atleast Marvel had previous years of work where they could take a risk on unknown characters. I'm actually not hating the reverse introductions as much as I was when they first announced all the characters inclusion in Dawn of Justice. I just feel like they mapped this out really far without knowing their foundation will be stable. Of course people are going to flock to see Batman and Superman but you're not following that up with a solo project of either one of those characters, I think they need to start out strong and then get into some of their more "secondary" characters before taking a chance on Cyborg or Suicide Squad.

DC is looking at getting Ryan Gosling, Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Tom Hardy for Suicide Squad.
It's looking like they aren't afraid to throw money around, I mean they got The Rock.

I feel like Warner Bros is making everything way more complicated than it has to be.. We don't need Suicide Squad and we don't need Cyborg films.. Just introduce the characters with solo films.. Start with Batman v. Superman then Wonder Women, do a Justice League movie and then ing just start pushing out solos of Aquaman, The Flash, Green Lantern, throw in another solo Superman and a solo Batman and then another Justice League movie, and put Shazam in there somewhere.. They're so dead set on not copying Marvel that they've just ended up all over the place.
