Kofi Kingston is a lost cause, he starts off the year by beating the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at the time, Randy Orton, sure it was considered a “fluke” victory and what not, but it was in the main event of RAW and could have re-ignited Kofi into a upper-main eventer with the crowd behind him. Sure all the kids LOVE him, but I think it’s time to give him some character and let him show us what he has, and if he fails, let him go when his contract expires or turn him back into doing what he has been doing for the last 6 years in the WWE, a smiling Jamaican who turned Ghanaian “super star”. I think the best way to turn Kofi Kingston heel at this point would be to be booked in a match against somebody like Sheamus or even possibly John Cena, and as the match is about to start Kofi slides out of the ring and cuts a promo about how he has been held down for years, has been jumping around doing everything he can to make these stupids kids smile, brings up that he beat Orton in a non-title match and he still hasn’t gotten a title shot since beating the champ at the time. Claims that now all he cares about is himself. By the time he is done cutting his promo, out comes Titus O’Neil and beats down Cena and Kofi joins in laying a savage beat down, the segment finishes with Titus holding Kofi up on his shoulders. This starts an alliance with Titus being more or so Kofi’s muscle, while Kingston starts getting on a win streak using heel tactics, spitting in the face of somebody like Sheamus or even Daniel Bryan to draw massive heat, even adding a little crazy conspiracy paranoia similar to R-Truth during his heel run wouldn’t be too bad, but in moderation, not enough to turn him into a comedy relief. Kofi gets this theme
New merchandise with “It’s all about KOFI” as the slogan would be cool too. I think something like this will be his last chance to prove himself.

Not sure how or what, but WWE certainly needs to do something/anything with Kofi. He's far too talented to be losing each week.
I like your slogan for him.

Kofi severely lacks anything close to resembling charisma. He can be as agile as he wants, but if he doesn't connect with the crowd on a level beyond being agile, then he's not going to go anywhere.
I'd say at this point, the best bet is to just let him go. Basically all he's done for the past several years is a yearly spot at the Royal Rumble, and it's becoming tedious.

This is EXACTLY what me and my friend were discussing yesterday to those exact words almost. Plus Punk helped him a lot to come up with those Rumble spots each year, so with that I also believe that Kingston should just be let go at this point.

Urgh, no heel turn. He'd have to change his style entirely. Nearly every move consists of him popping the crowd. He just needs to be pushed properly - no midcard titles. Money in the Bank may save him. Won't be this year though...

The feud with Orton speaks for itself regarding Kofis charisma. He just needs an edge. Much like Cena, Sheamus (They've been fixing him lately IMO), and many other floundering faces.

Kofi would be an interesting heel turn IMO. I'd love to see him turn just to see how he could handle it. He's about as bland as a face could be right now. He needs something and a heel turn is the only thing I can think of that separates him from a future endeavored spot. The guy is as talented as can be, but so were guys like John Morrison and we all saw where they ended up.

Most kids dont even care about this guy anymore so I dont see how they "LOVE" him. He has been doing the same schtick since 2008 with the only difference being dropping the Jamaican accent and wearing comic book-inspired tights now.

I don't think Kofi has the ability to be a main event draw for a long period of time, but he should certainly be in a better position than he is now.
He, like Ziggler, is a victim of indecisive and 50/50 booking. They'll lose, lose, lose, beat a big opponent, have it touted as a fluke, and then either get the crap kicked out of them, or get destroyed in some sort of rematch. Then they fade into obscurity, and a few months later, do it all over again. It's stupid.

I know the kids love him, but I think the only shot he has at redemption is with a heel turn, & I don't even know if that can save him at this point.

No he should stay face but he needs a push. Sadly he is no main eventer but he could have great feuds with guys in the Midcard.

yeah I don't have anything against kofi but he's just there. great athlete though and trouble in paradise is actually one of my favorite moves but there's just nothing to him character wise.

It's sad seeing WWE not use Kofi. Hes too great of a talent. He should be pushed to WWE Title status tbh

Sadly, the only time I'm interested in him is when he is in the royal rumble match.

He is officially in the Shelton Benjamin/John Morrison role and has been for quite some time now.

Re-sign Shelton Benjamin and team him up with Kofi. Call them the Criminally under-utilized mid-card Black Guys!

He's athletically talented. But I've never like him. Terrible promo. Good mid card guy for kids to like
