Couldn't have asked for a better birthday present today than the arrival of my DM Ric Flair. Robe is excellent, and vac-metal WHC belt is a must, and I even got through the stuck waist, but it's been all downhill from there. I think I got a "no-neck"" Ric. When I went to switch out his torso/arms for (in my opinion) a more appropriate Funk torso/arms the skin tones don't match! And the thing that gets me most - I thought he had his monogram "RF" on his blue trunks!!!!? Didn't he have this in real life? Can't say this makes my all-time top 10

Got mine today and really like it. Had blond paint spot on nose, but got it off.

First off Happy Birthday. But unless I am misunderstanding you the figure does have RF on his trunks. At least mine does. Sucks about the neck and skin tone. I know you wanted to swap torsos.

u shoulda done known a long time ago.....that Flair didn't have the Funk skintone.
sucks about missing the RF logo.
the fig is serviceable to me. Could've been better w/ an accurate torso and accurate robe.
the attire choice and face save the figure

I don't mind the torso at all - remember, these are idealised versions of wrestlers. Plus, no one is going to display Ric without his awesome robe on...

I think the torso was fine. Ric was in great shape in the 80's with broad shoulders/back so personally I think this was a better choice than Funk's torso.

still missing the "RF" on the hip - think it's worth a case bringing it up to RSC? It's not really their fault, it's a Mattel defect. This sucks.

None, but this isn't Sheanus's torso (is it?!) and if it is I think it works for an 80's Flair better than Funk's. I used Funk's on mine because of three reasons... 1. All I had to do was add a little black paint to his boots to match a Flair attire. 2. it hid the scale of the larger Jakks head the best. 3. The skin tone matched the color the best. still missing the "RF" on the hip - think it's worth a case bringing it up to RSC? It's not really their fault, it's a Mattel defect. This sucks. It doesn't hurt. Or contact Mattel and see if they will send you a voucher. I think the missing RF would be worth a call. The initials on their trunks to me was a big part of Flair, Arn and Tully when I picture them in my mind. And in your pic there looks to be a neck. I've seen others that sat lower.

There are a lot of Flair matches from the mid-late 80s where he is on the outside, breathing deep and the guy was in hella shape. Yes, even tonned/cut...The torso looks good but the problem is that Sheamus used it first. People have that image of Sheamus when they see the torso.

If so it's all wrong for Sheamus. It's too small for him. I thought this was the e23 Triple H torso. I didn't even realize it was used on Sheamus. Always thought his was bigger with larger abs. But that might just be his first basic now that I think about it. Still Sheamus's or not I think it works for 80's Flair.

I thought Sheamus, E23 HHH, that TRU Bret Hart and Flair all used the same torso.
