The element of 'anything can happen' just isn't there anymore. Whole weeks of programming have little to no story progression. Rematches of rematches of 6 man tags for no reason and no consequence. I can miss Raw entirely and smackdown will spend 30% of it's show replaying what happened.

Raw itself, is like 40% recaps of stuff that happened earlier in the night.

Eh, one week's ratings doesn't mean everything and putting that match on free TV would hurt them more then help them.
Putting Reigns/Orton II and Jericho/Wyatt in a Cage is a good enough way to help ratings in my mind.
Plus why would anyone sub to the network if they can watch Cena vs. Lesnar on free TV?

They should have Stephanie and all the divas wrestle in tub of baby oil.

If people aren't subscribing yet, if they are actually to in their area, then they are probably not ever going to. If countless hours of three different wrestling promotions, and every PPV each month and it's only $9.99 doesn't draw people in, then nothing will. $10 a month isn't anything at all unless you're A) too cool to subscribe because you are "anti-establishment or B) Flat ass broke

Monday Night football is starting up. WWE could have God vs Satan in a cage match and more people would watch the NFL.
