If only you would know your role and shut your mouth - The Rock bur seriously everyone has there own opinions so just have yours and respect RybackV1 Why would he get respect from anybody when he shows it to nobody? He does show respect, this is a forum, like it or not we are all one, we all share passions, those passions could be figures, wrestling and many other things. Now we don't always get along, But we should. RybackV1 is a great man and I talk to him everyday and have for months, we talk about wrestling and figures and how we love them so very much. He's like a brother and I cant stand to hear anything bad said about him.

Jeez. Heaven forbid I don't respect the almighty resurrection of Christ, Jesus Cena. You right. He is good to the kiddies.

Yep, just me being negative. No it isn't. You're probably the most negative in general across all wrestling topics, but there are lots of other posters that love to be negative. It's a shame really, seems like it'd be easier to just stop watching a TV show that you don't enjoy and find one you do enjoy... But such is life. I don't waste my 3 hours on Monday's anymore. I read the results and catch the highlights afterward. I don't want to be negative. I just want one thing and I wouldn't be so pessimistic. One of my four favorites, just one to win a world title. I don't even care if it's the WHC if they split it again. That's all I want. And since you said I should find a new show, got any recommendations? <That's a genuine question, 90% done with Breaking Bad and need something else.

RybackV1 and I feel that. Or do you want MORE of Super Cena I personally don't care because unlike some I don't base my enjoyment of a show based on Cena.

Sons of Anarchy is really good, if you haven't seen that. It's on Netflix UK, I assume it's on the US one too. Game of Thrones is great, but I don't think that's on any subscription service yet. People say House of Cards is great, but I haven't seen it. And there's always The Wire, which people always said was the best TV show ever... Until Breaking Bad happened. I don't think anything's gonna live up to BB, to be honest. But wrestling will always seem 100% worse just by reading stuff and watching when you've already read the results. I used to always read results first up to about 2006/07 and I was fairly negative about it then, and started enjoying it more when I started avoiding spoilers (especially for Raw and PPVs). If you're just hanging on for your favourites to win a world title though, you should add Reigns, Rollins, Ambrose or Wyatt to your favourites -- they're the only current guys I see winning it.

I know that it's been said before...but Cena is this era's Hogan. If Cena being dominant going on for almost a decade (I refuse to use the word bury since so many here use it incorrectly) upsets people THIS much, maybe you might want to consider finding something else to watch.
Hell I used to be a fan of him back in 2003-2008 and then got bored of him. Now a days when he comes on during Raw and starts saying cheesy, self-effacing BS, I change the channel until he's gone or his match is over.

However, I've come to appreciate the man's work and he's usually a safe bet for a good to great match. But I'm with you, I change the channel when he starts one of his cheesy promos. Whether it's a cringeworthy try to be funny one or his "I FEAR NOTHING AND REGRET LESS" one.

I personally don't care because unlike some I don't base my enjoyment of a show based on Cena. Cena is the protagonist of Raw. How can you "base your enjoyment " without taking the lead character into account ? Because I enjoy other parts of Raw, if I don't like a part I don't watch it, a tip you should try out.

He had some pretty good matches with the likes of Undertaker, Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle, Booker T, etc. Plus he had his little rapping gimmick, which made him unique at the time. Hell I was still a fan when he was getting mostly boos in the summer of '05 against Y2J and Kurt Angle as well as throughout 2006-2008. After the PG stuff started and his promos started to get even cheesier (spraypainting 'JBL is Poopy' on JBL's limo, etc.) that's when I started changing the channel on him.

Hated him as the lame white rapper -- actually, as a heel, I was into it because it was meant to be lame. Then when he turned face and was a "cool" lame white rapper, I hated the guy. Completely bought into the "Cena sux" stuff too, but I grew out of that when he was having great matches with the likes of Umaga, Lashley and Khali in '07. Once we hit late 2009/early 2010 and he stopped wrestling Orton and Triple H all the time, I was a fan.

Most people I know absolutely loved him as the rapper and when he started moving away from that, it was instant Cena hate (and that was like mid-2005 when he stopped). I definitely did like the matches with Umaga and Lashley. I'm still surprised that he managed to get a decent match out of Khali back in '07.

Wfigs members who don't understand that top faces losing clean is supposed to be rare: Well, just read this thread and you can get that list

Honestly, the only time I truly think you could make a true case for Cena burying a guy is the Nexus/Wade Barrett. That was horrible booking, and it put a massive roadblock on Wade Barrett's career that I don't necessarily think he'll ever fully recover from. His multiple injuries haven't helped his road to recovery, either.
There have been other times that Cena coming out on top has been a flat out bad decision (his recent stuff with Wyatt, for example), but I wouldn't consider it burying.
I also laughed out loud at the notion that Cena "buried" Edge. Those two spent years making each other look like a million bucks, and Edge came out on top of their feud in the end. Edge would have never solidified himself as a top guy without that Cena feud.

There are plenty of guys who could have "used" wins against Cena but that doesn't mean they should have gotten them.
The more matches Cena loses, the less impact and importance there is when he does lose.
Let's say Bray kills Cena dead in their Last Man Standing match. Flash forward to Summerslam and it doesn't have the same gravitas.
This is just the type of situation that happens when have a tippy top guy on the tippy top of the mountain for so long.
Look back at Hogan. Guys like Perfect and Savage would have benefited so much from s victory over Hogan. Savage was on fire as champion before losing to Hogan and if Perfect had ever beaten him it would have ascended him to the main event.
You could also make a case for guys like Dibiase and Orndorff getting a solid win over Hogan.
Some of the names on the list are just silly though. The follow through, what the WWE does with the guy after their series with Cena is just as important as them winning or losing.

I think my new pet peeve on here is people saying that only Cena appeals to kids.
It's bullcrap.
All those guys repping his merchandise and all those ladies screaming for him and chanting for him must be a figment of my imagination.
10 years from now the majority of you will look back and realize that for all the flak Cena gets, he is one of the best big match wrestlers in WWE history.
