Hopefully he will be to busy with the Cowboys to show up on RAW. He is flying to Dallas tomorrow if he passes their physical they are going to sign him to their practice squad. Personally I was hoping Oakland would have grabbed him and added him to their DE rotation.

sometimes it truly boggles my mind, how pathetic and desperate the present day WWE really is. it's upsetting, because they are slowly destroying wrestling as we know it. because all they care about is youtube views, hastags & trending. they couldnt give a flying about the people that actually watch because they are fans, and instead they just want to be "cool" and get media coverage from other web sites. the PR department is a pile of horse garbage. "oooh that Michael Sam guy....he's gay right? let's get him on the show cuz everyone is talking about him! yeah! that'll spike ratings!" instead of actually caring about making an interesting product to anyone over the age of 12, it's "lets get whatever semi-celebrity has a crapty movie coming out!" or "oh he has buzz....get him on the show!" and it's even MORE shallow and crapty because.... get this... THE WWE ALREADY EMPLOYS AN OPENLY GAY ATHLETE so what the hell do they need Michael Sam for??? what the hell could he possibly have to say that would be so incredible and exciting it HAS to take up time on the "flagship show" WWE......YOU ING TOOL BAGS !!!!!!!

They never gave Darren Young an open mic to say ANYTHING when he came out. Why give someone who has no ties to the company or wrestling in general an open mic? Darren Young can't cut a good promo though. Maybe Sam can. In all seriousness, he won't be there and for a good reason. All I know is when MTV had that basketball player that came out last year (can't think of his name) presenting on the VMAs, the guy could barely read off of a monitor.

I go to the college Michael Sam made a name for himself at. My favorite football team is the team that drafted him. I'm a massive professional wrestling fan.
I do not want to see Michael Sam on RAW.

Well, he signed to the Cowboys practice squad, so good for him. He can tell the WWE to F off.

If he burns this bridge with WWE, he'll never get to be a mid card comedy act.

I'm not particularly sure what WWE is trying to gain out of the situation. Good press by way of TMZ and then GLAAD? Why as a wrestling audience do we give a sh*t what this guy has to say though? 7th round pick that didn't fit on a team with a fully stacked defensive line. It's not really a big mystery why he got cut. There is a buzz because he's gay, but that's the only reason it matters. The guy is a total moron if he shows up on Raw next week. He's trying to find a job in the NFL. If teams get the impression he's focusing on anything other than being a pro football player right now, so like 15 minutes of fame, they are going to avoid him like the plague. Remember when Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Rosie O'Donnel, and Donald Trump were invited and did not show? Remember their ridiculous impersonators? I hope that happens. I hope that it backfires on WWE when the stereotype is played as a caricature, and they have to issue a big apology for being idiotic.

Speaking of Darren Young where is he anyway? I haven't seen him since the PTP broke up.

Yeah no way in hell will he show up. He wouldn't have shown up before he signed with Dallas, and he absolutely won't show up now that he has. It is a completely boneheaded and silly move that has backfired in multiple ways. It makes the WWE look silly to people who don't watch, and it makes fans who do watch feel alienated and embarrassed.

Speaking of Darren Young where is he anyway? I haven't seen him since the PTP broke up. He tore his ACL early this year I believe. And yeah, all this is just dumb. Sam doesn't need to be in the spotlight and the WWE should just concentrate on making their own product better with better storylines and matches, not necessarily bigger names.

They really shouldn't have advertised like he was going to be there and not even have him confirmed.

They never offered an open mic to Darren Young or Pat Patterson why should they do that for Michael Sam. It's sad that they are doing this because of him being cut but a few days later gets signed with another team. He won't accept and I think they are doing that because they didn't receive the type of response they were hoping for when Young and Pat coming out.

Just let gay people be gay. Why try to make it HUGE news. There has been gay people since at least the biblical days. And there will continue to be gay people.
The same company that used to promote "hot lesbian action."
Yep. Way to go, WWE

The intentions behind "it shouldn't matter if the person is gay" is great however it's not something that really means anything.
Because the truth is, it does matter. It matters a lot.
It matters to that 12 year old that sees his friends noticing girls while he's noticing boys. Everywhere he looks; boys notice girls, girls notice boys but boys don't notice boys. So he becomes depressed. He feels he's wrong for feeling different. If he all he sees is boys noticing girls, who could he possibly talk to about his feelings? Certainly not his father who he has heard make awful remarks again and again. He can't talk to his mother out of fear that she'll tell his father. Who can he turn to?
He watches TV and he stumbles across a program that features a gay character and not one that's only there for comedic relief. Or he finds an actual gay person like Michael Sam. Wow, someone that feels the same way he does can grow up to be somebody. He can see the feelings he's having aren't weird or bad. There are other people like him in the world. So he starts watching football because his new hero Michael Sam is playing. That kid will grow up knowing how he feels does not have to hinder him.
So it does matter if someone is gay, if someone famous comes out. It does matter if someone who is gay does something groundbreaking or accomplishes something big.
We can say it shouldn't matter but actually, it should matter.

This seems so pointless, I have no idea who he is in the first place and it looks really insulting.

I for one am looking forward to his potential appearance on Raw, especially if they give him a mic, since by all accounts he great on the stick.
Between Sam appearing and the Springer / Bella's segment, I'm mega pumped for the season premier of RAW!!!
