How much does this figure go for? I remember seeing him or months and months for $10 at my local Family Dollar a few years ago.
I saw a few loose for pretty cheap on eBay a little while ago. A couple carded were around $35 and had no bids yet.
I recently had a carded Tully figure ruined a couple weeks ago that I had paid $185 for and a RSC Austin as well that set me back $75. Trust me... I feel your pain!

I just bid on a loose one on eBay to try and help you out. It doesn't have the vest, but yours looks good. The paint and everything looks good as well. Auction ends Monday... I'll let you know if I get it. Just pay it forward if I do...

Looks like Mattel needs to address this thigh / ball joint problem. Any of you guys experiencing this ever contact customer service or anything?
I know Mattel was having some problems with their DCUC and MOTUC having backwards knee and arm joints, two left feet, etc, but I thought they had cleaned all that kind of stuff up by now. Whatever happened to quality control?

Loose Tully has sold a couple times, with belt, in the last couple weeks for $67 and $73... carded Tully for $185 (The one I got.. Hasn't been another carded one on there since to my knowledge)! My desire for carded figures has cost me a lot! lol

As many have emphasized my brother, it sucks but all the same we can always buy another one. Although it is a tough blow, we can recover. Stay up.

That doesn't look like it's gonna be fixed unless you glue it together. Sorry to hear about that, man.

I have no idea. What kind of oil would you use? Like a baby oil? Motor oil? Cooking oil? Ya I don't know. Cooking or baby maybe? That's an interesting thought. The figures sometimes have a light, oil-like residue on them out of the box. It's a releasing agent that makes the parts easier to pull out of the molds they were created in, and sometimes it doesn't all get wiped off. I can't say for sure that the small rubber pieces "dry out" exactly, but adding some kind of oil might slow down the aging process.

I am a big fan of most anything comic book related (Hell, that's how I make a living) and this guy had a Mego Elastic Hulk on one of the season 3 episodes of Comic Book Men.
Not sure how you can find it (Netflix only has seasons one and two right now), but that figure was the only one in the world never played with, and he used some kind of oil on it to keep it in mint condition. Thing was worth like 16 grand or so. Sheesh...
Anyway, that oil he uses might be good to keep things like Vader's mask and Cena's armbands from drying out and breaking.
I wish I could remember the name of the stuff...
Maybe someone can find it... I looked, but nada. Sorry... I think it was something simple though.

They have started using better joints for the legs now but I know it is a big problem with older figures. My Bulldogs very close to been the same.

WTF happened to his eyebrows tho? This the shaved eyebrow variant? Eyebrows come off way too easily on some figures, and they're a bitch to fix. Those hip joints are garbage. I appreciate that they've fixed them since, but the old style keeps reemerging in certain figures and it needs to stop. We, as customers, are paying way too much for figures that break like this.

It hasnt happened to me yet. I've only seen people on here complain about it. I keep my figures on display and do not play with them. Even with my figures just being on a shelf I've seen rubber break. Like the Cena Arm Bands, and my Vader's face mask have snapped and cracked with out ever having been played with. This might be a really stupid question, but would putting some kind of oil on Cena's bands and Vader's mask keep them from drying out and snapping? I wouldn't use cooking oil. It'll start to smell like sh** after a while and more than likely stink up the area you have him in as well.

My condolences. But i really don't think the weather played a factor. Wear and tear, weak joints, a couple shelf dives, rough play/posing, etc seems like more plausible reasonings. Good luck, luckily I believe you can find another bulldog for decent price out there.

Man, that sucks. I'm so sorry that happened. I know for many of us our collection represents great memories. To see one of your favorite figures snap like that is heartbreaking.
