Hi!
I want to buy a Xbox One eventually; so I'm in need of some 411 on which Xbox One Bundle I should buy? I've been looking at the Assassins Creed Bundle which is $349 plus tax and the Call of Duty Limited Edition Xbox One bundle for 449.99+tax. Major differences between the two is AC Xbox One has 500GB HDD and the COD Xbox One has 1TB HDD and new skin on console and controller. To me personally I don't care for decorations on gaming consoles, but the 1TB HDD has got me leaning towards the COD Xbox One.
My two major questions are: 1.(obviously) Which Bundle should I buy? 2. Is a 1TB HDD really important, and worth an extra $100 for the long run?
I do have a poll, so there are other choices you guys can pick without having to reply.
Thanks for looking; I hope to get your suggestions and inputs towards buying a Xbox One.

Have you added up how much it is for each console and game separately? If you're a hardcore gamer then the extra space on the Call Of Duty console may come in handy. If not then it just comes down to which game you'd prefer out of the two.

I've yet to meet a person who chose Microsoft over Sony on this front... Just wondering, what is it about the inferior machine that makes you want to buy it? Does the PS4's game sharing feature p*ss you off? Does faster processing and better graphics really grind your gears? Do you hate Brian Michael Bendis?
Haha, all kidding aside, why are you choosing the X-Box One over the PS4?
EDIT - I just noticed that you're thinking about buying a bundle with the 2 biggest let-down games of this new generation. Why would you want to pick up CoD or AC:U when they're both horrible games?

PS4. There has yet to be a XBONE exclusive game to get me enticed in the system, same for PS4. Of the two choices, I like PS4's system design, OS, controller. I would say it wouldn't really matter until about three years in when the real exclusives start coming out that have been fine tuned for the systems. Right now if you need a machine to play the WWE Network, watch Blu-Rays, and play some games, grab a PS4.
This is biased mind you as I have never touched a XBONE.

I really wouldn't bother with a PS, neither has very strong exclusives, but the "notable" Playstation ones are almost non-existent. At least with the Xbox, they have the Gears of War and Halo series, and apparantly Rare are actually going to be making games again (hooray!), the fact that they just trademarked Battletoads is quite exciting, and it's almost a guarantee that we'll be seeing a Banjo Kazooie game eventually. Playstation and Xbox are literally 99.99% the same, so it all comes down to which of the few exclusives they have that you prefer.
I'd go for the 500GB HD one. External Hardrives aren't really expensive anymore. Plus Xbox One has Killer Instinct which is FTP, and is actually a decent game.
Or you could forgo all of that and just get a Wii U, Mario Kart and Smash Bros.

I'm a Sony guy and really like my PS4, but won't give you crap for buying/staying with Xbox. They're both quality machines and once the game companies really get used to the hardware, we're all going to get some really great exclusives.
Here's what it boils down to, IMO: Do you plan on downloading a lot of games? If so, then the COD bundle seems like the better, smarter buy, especially if you like the franchise. If not, the main factor would be which game/franchise you like better.

PS4 I'm asking for one for Christmas and then I'm Gonna buy an xbox one with my own money once I get a job. My friend who I always played 360 with is getting Xbox one which is why I'm getting it as well but I don't need it right away and would rather have PS4 atm

Don't worry about the hard drive, especially if you don't like skinned consoles (I'm the same way.)
You can easily pick up an additional external hard drive down the road when you feel like you need to. The Xbox One supports up to two additional drives. I picked up a 1TB hard drive a few months back for around $45 for mine. Works great, and it sits in the back of the console so I never see it.
So, no, the larger hard drive certainly isn't worth an extra $100 when you can buy your own external drive for less, and get more space out of it.
If you can, consider picking one up on Black Friday. There's some great deals to be had this year.

Get the white Sunset bundle! This, but if Sunset Overdrive doesn't interest you, get a PS4.

Thanks for everyones input. The reason I'm not going with PS4 is that I do not like most of their exclusives. I own a Xbox 360 and most of my friends have already bought a Xbox One. I like the Halo Franchise and been with Microsoft ever since Halo CE in 2002. The last Playstation console I owned was a PS2 and that was before the Xbox was made. I respect people who prefer the PS4 over the One, but I'm a Microsoft guy, not a Sony guy.
I honestly could careless about the games in the bundles, because I'd probably wouldn't put much of my time into them. The reason I'm leaning towards the bundles is because you get a little extra than you would with the basic console. As of now the only games Microsoft are offering that I'm interested in are Halo: MCC (hopefully they fix all the bugs). I know it's one game, but to me Halo is the reason I'm still a gamer. Future games I would like to play besides Halo 5 that's Xbox One exclusives are Below, Scalebound, Fable Legends, Quantum Break, Rise of Tomb Raider, State of Decay, and Crackdown.
From this point to Christmas I'll eventually buy the Xbox One, which one I don't know right now. I do see a lot of Black Friday sales that are tempting, but being surrounded by so much people is something I don't want to experience. Hopefully Cyber Monday will prove successful for me.

To be fair, I imagine a lot of the people saying PS4 are saying it because you put it as an option in your poll. I know I wouldn't have even mentioned it if it weren't up there. Still have to recommend Sunset Overdrive though. Really fun game. Doesn't take itself seriously or anything, just fun.

I totally agree about me making users be able to choose PS4 in the poll, but I also felt like it should be necessary. I like to see other people's views on gaming and totally respect it. As buying the Sunset Overdrive Bundle; I am not really interested in the game as much as others. Also, I prefer a black console to a white one. And right now it's close to $500 new on Ebay and Amazon, so totally out of my price range.
I'm thinking of holding off on buying the Xbox One until maybe the end of the year, just because there's a lot issues that need to be fixed with it. Hopefully by that time slow servers and bugs that are clogging all of the current games will be patched up. Plus maybe the systems will be lower in price too.
Again thank you all for participating in this thread so far, and helping me come to the right decision.

The One is on sale for the holidays by fifty dollars, isn't it? I don't know when that ends. Or maybe it already has. You start to lose track of these things after you already have the console, lol. But the point is, I think it is only a temporary price cut, so it's something to keep in mind.

I voted get a PS4 because I have one and its awesome. However, if your heart is set on the Xbox One then I love Assassins Creed and think COD is meh so I'd go for that.

Since you like Halo get the master chief collection.(they are having a bundle on black friday if you dont want kinnect but I highly reccomend a kinnect) I just got it and its amazing. I'm usually not one for rereleases but 4 games all redone in 1080p 60fps plus a full gfraphic overhaul of Halo 2 for the first time is really nice.
Also to answer a question asked earlier, the reason I chose X1 over PS4 is I prefer the features. The cable integration and Kinnect are really nice and it has a very sleek interface. Honestly, name me one reason PS4 owners have a PS4 aside from exclusives? I can't think of one.
