Why do some of you complain so much? always complaints about everything, even if you've never seen it in person. Some people have higher intelligence. Higher intelligence allows people to comment on dislikes/ It is easier to like everything as it rarely requires reasons. I am paying 25 bucks...better include corrected legs, better arms and a Jacket with bat! If not, Mattel has once again failed. Check the DCUC action figure line if one wonders how Mattel has failed. some people do have a higher intelligence level, they don't purchase things they don't like. With all the complaints I see on here, I wonder why people even bother to collect. I see wanting things to be accurate and to get their money worth, but perfect figures will have so many complaints. I know it doesn't concern me, but when nearly half the posts about figures are complaints...makes me wonder why these people even bother.

Well maybe don't worry so much about other people's opinions and just be happy that we all are given the freedom here to express them. Be content that you are 100% satisfied and don't let others feelings discourage you.

I think he's damn near perfect... The only change I would make is his hair. It needs to be just a tad bit longer. Either way I'll probably buy like 600 of them. I ing love Sting. I wouldn't say perfect, but it IS crow Sting! When I first saw the figure I knew I wanted it, and I knew in my mind it was emblematic of Sting from that era. Now could I go back and look at pics of Sting from that event and do a side-by-side comparison and find inaccuracies? Sure! I bet you could with >90% of all action figures. But there is nothing about this figure that makes him not crow Sting. He should be in scale with the other Mattels, and that's great for a 25-30 dollar figure under 7 inches. I'm more than excited for this.

Finally a Sting figure the way he deserves! I really hate being on the forums looking at these pictures because it makes the wait feel so much longer! As for the OP, I don't see this as a complaint, but more of a suggestion to discuss. Some are on the edge already waiting to post irrelevant comments.

I tend to agree, the hair is too short, the legs look a bit off. Sting did have big arms when he came back (not defined) but they were big. Still looks pretty cool though

I think it's great that people think he's too short, particularly as he is standing alone with nothing to compare to. In pics I've seen Sting is not the tallest of wrestlers so hopefully he's to scale when he's released

My only observation is the missing white words on the gloves...hope this is fixed.

It's definitely the slightly short boots that is creating the weird height allusion. I personally think the figure is excellent!

They do look a tad short. Great looking otherwise.

The figure is near perfect. And for the most part the boots are correct for Crow Sting just not that match where his boots were taller. Maybe LOD's would have bee better. As for the arms I made the comment that I was glad they went large arms instead of the Punk size arms they gave l1 Hawk,e27 Gunn and DM Razor. Even though the bat is made to look wooden instead of aluminum this figure can't get to my shelf soon enough.

I agree I think the boot mold makes it look smaller. Maybe it would be in better perspective if it was next to Hogan. Then we'd know for sure.

I know it doesn't concern me, but when nearly half the posts about figures are complaints...makes me wonder why these people even bother. I always try to be constructive with my criticism. I love my wrestling figures!

I "complain" for two reasons:
1. If we all agree that everything Mattel produces is perfect, then we won't get the figures we want, Mattel won't have as accurate a reflection of what collectors want, and Mattel won't improve as quickly.
2. For the price point, Mattel should be providing a tighter product. Sting will be $25(ish) and higher for folks overseas. That's not cheap. It should be near perfection for that price.
For example, Mattel has a glove mold that matches what sting wore. Instead they simply paint his hands black. The displayed figure shows some flesh color at the joint. Why would Mattel not use the glove mold? They have it. It is more accurate. Seems logical for them to use it. To me, it's poor craftsmanship on their part to ignore that. Now I have to ruin one of my figures that has gloves and fix the Sting figure when I eventually buy it. So really I've spent over $40 on this one figure. Not to mention I'll have to swap out the steroid arms that he never had. So that's even more of my own money to fix a figure that should have been more accurate to begin with. While I truly appreciate Mattel and their work, that doesn't make me a happy collector.
